edit: sorry, I just realized I should have posted this in the Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section...
Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything similar and I'm slightly panicking about (soft)bricking my phone.
Since I'm quite new to all of this and I made the mistake of failing to root my new S6, I now need to restore the stock firmware but I can't find the one I need.
I bought my phone in the Samsung store in the Netherlands, so no special T-Mobile brand or something. Could anyone point me in the right direction to which firmware I need before making things even worse?
My model is SM-G920F and the Baseband version is G920FXXU2BOGF.
I found something here:
sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G920F/PHN/
But the PDA id is slightly different. Will I be able to use this firmware?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hello! I got the same problem few days ago. I bought this phone 5.0.2 and upgraded it to 5.1.1. I flashed with Odin G920FXXU2BOFJ UK version (I bought this from Finland) and I was able to choose finnish for language and finnish keyboard. Then I did a factory reset. Now everything is working fine.

Well this may be a bit old or a bit stupid, but I hope someone can help me with this.
Well, recently, I decided to flash my Galaxy 3 with a Android 2.2 Firmware. Well I was kinda noobish and I didn't know that my location would affect the firmware i needed to flash. So I just took a random Android 2.2 Firmware for Europe. So after I flashed my phone, I lost all my data connection. Now I live in Singapore. So can someone tell me maybe the firmware used in Singapore, or maybe a fix for my problem
Anyone please?
hello, is there any stock rom for this tablet bough in China? While upgrading (the officially way lol), it got bricked. I have found one thread with link to russian lenovo site with plenty of firmwares (http://lenovo-forums.ru/files/category/49-прошивки-lenovo-a10-a7600/), but it seems no one is supporting the SIM for calling as in description. I am very grateful for any help (friends device, right?). If trying to get into recovery menu, it writes "wrong order".
Also how to put new fw there? Do I need special tool as a Odin, or is it some kind of direct upgrade from SD card? Thx.

Hi Wakizashis
Apologies for the late reply. I can see you're having a hard time finding any help. You can bump your other thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...k-firmware-t3316083/post65352270#post65352270 by posting in it every 24 hours to bring it back up to the top. Hopefully you'll find someone who knows the answer.
Hello,
solved the issue. Another version of flashing tool worked with some obscure version of firmware.
I purchased an unlocked SM-930R6 today but I can't find anything on it. It's currently running 7.0, but I was wondering if anyone has came across any development for it?
I can't even find stock firmware anywhere. Even if I can't find a custom recovery or ROM, I would still love to achieve root.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Hi,
Brand new to the forum. Hopefully I am posting in the correct section. This site is massive so I am unsure where to ask this.
I am not huge into phone so if any of my wording is incorrect I apologize.
I am looking for the Stock Lollipop 5.0 Firmware for a Galaxy s6 SM-G920A.
I am having a hard time locating it for download. I have searched and came up empty handed(i just may not be searching correctly).
Any chance someone can point me where to get it?
Thanks for any help
Looking for:

I did find it here, but there is no download once following the link to it.

Did have you try this?:

Thanks for the response. Yes, I did check the link you posted but had no luck.
Dumb question, if the phone was an AT&T phone and runs on their service currently, do I really need the version for the G920A or could I use from a G920F.
Thanks again for any help, struggling finding it.
I should have added in the original post that 6.0 would be ok as well
Hi, I recently updated from Android 11 to 12 and I want to go back (reasons). I have a Moto G31 bought in the Philippines.
My question is mainly about stock roms if I were to flash the firmware:
- Would I be able to get it to be identical to when I bought the phone? i.e all the same few preinstalled Moto apps and it would still go through all the normal Moto updates again?
- Would the warranty (according to the device itself) be intact? also, in other words, would the phone itself know it was different from when I first bought it?
- Would a stock rom from say Brazil be different to the one I should have on my Phillippines model (assuming they both have the exact same version number RRWB31.Q3-46-85)?
Thank you in advance for any replies
You are not the only one wanting to go back. I have found the correct ROM for me (eu) but not the correct instructions. The Lenovo forum has several pages in the thread for Android 12 problems on the G31 and people are pretty upset. There is another thread here too asking for help on rolling back the ROM, and I hope someone here on XDA who is knowledgeable can help.
