Probably because most of the apps are coded for 32bit to make them compatible across more devices. Also, a 64-bit app can sometimes run slower than a 32-bit app, because using all those 64-bit memory pointers can make the app larger, sucking up more cache and RAM. It can be a catch 22, good in some instances and bad in others.

Yes.
And if I am not wrong, once you apply for Bootloader unlocking code you are out of warranty even if you didn't used the code actually.
Thus, as soon as the code is generated or asked for the warranty is termed as void.

Technically after relock still out of warranty but depends on the service center u visiting that they acknowledge your warranty or not by checking fastboot and logs, sometimes even after relock that freaky unlock bootloader message shows
Okay, here goes a newbie question...
I recently bought American version of the G (xt1540 to be precise) and it uses different frequencies for 3G network ( than the ones in my current operator in Europe
The phone current 3g is HSDPA 850 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100
and I need it HSDPA 900 / 2100
cause my operator runs at 900Mhz
can I somehow adjust these with flashing custom radios or am I stuck with only 2G data flow?
Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention that we get unlock code from moto website so plus fastboot and logs(fastboot logs) they can acknowledge by checking above data also

So how do I remove or move the Google search bar on the home screen. This was a movable widget on my previous phone.

Install another launcher. There are literally dozens of them on Google Play. I personally like Nova Launcher, which does allow you to remove the search bar.

I was looking for a stock method. Seems Google does not want anyone removing the bar. Nova Launcher made the removal very simple.

Nexus S aren't locked to any carrier. They are however frequency restricted, depending on the model (tri-band, unlike Galaxy Nexus which is pentaband)
What does it mean? You can put any SIM in it, but you won't get 3G unless you have the right model for your network.
Here's the specs:
i9020a/t

so 2g will work with any company or only companies with compatible frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
if a company's frequency is 1700 and its in the 3G section, then it will work perfectly, correct?

For example Koodo only offers 3G as their GSM service, no 2G.
So if no frequency the company uses is compatible with your phone (none of them matches) then you will not get any service.

If the company uses similar frequencies to those supported by your phone, then you can use one of their SIM card and you will have service.

Make sure you are actually holding an i9023. Check the model printed on IMEI label on back cover under the battery.
If gsmarena spec is correct, i9023 should work with Wind/Mobilicity but not Koodo 3G, same for i9020t.
i9020a works with Koodo 3G but not Wind/Mobilicity.
Suspect you have the i9020a model. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_google_nexus_s_i9020a-3920.php

Most unlock website perform SIM(Carrier) unlock. They won't unlock additional frequency support.
Nexus phones came factory SIM unlocked. Should work in India. The quoted site will take your $16.90 and do nothing

For India, you only need phone that support 2100. So all variants of Nexus S will work.
Also see my reply in your other threads.
I've read that my phone has only 2 frequencys 900 and 2100 for 3g. While edge have all 4 (800, 900 1900 2100). Other versions of butterfly have fool pack for 3G. How do you think is it possible to unlock those two frequencys for my phone, using another version of radio for example, or any other way.

no, s-off is security mode off (with s-off you can flash your boot in recovery and change the splash screen and radio's) this has only been obtained for the japenese butterfly kddi.
As for the frequencies, I believe that they are staight connected to the chip set and won't be changed by a radio switch out
(In the future always look at the frequencies of your carrier and the frequencies of the phone you want before you buy it)(I have done this before, learned the hard way)
In my case the chose was between microSD slot and those frequencies, so i took device considering to unlock those bands in the future, and i think its possible, because they wont do another chip for that, its more simple to lock 2 bands.

Well, I´m with Galaxy S5 now.
I learned the lesson to only buy models with ALL frequency supported.
At the time when I was with the S3, I had a work around. There is a software called phoneinfo (really hard to find it cause they don´t have it on playstore anymore) that manually you could put it to 2100mhz, it was a pain in the ass had to change it all the time depend where you at, cause not all antenas of CLARO uses the same frequency.

Hello, everyone!
In my vacation trip, Setember next, I wanna buy a LG G3 in USA.
In Brazil, LG G3 has only 2gb of RAM and 16 gb of internal memory and LG G3 AT&T is cheaper (U$ 570), but I didn't find information about it.
Maybe you know the answers for my questions.
AT&T's model works on 4G LTE in 2600mhz (band 7)?
Has AT&T's model Portuguese-Brazil in language settings?
Which one is the model number of AT&T (F400, D855...)?
Can I use ROM retail of another G3 model?
I really appreciate for your help.

So as y'all know, s2 and y2 is the exact model but differentiate from where it sales.
I got my y2 from India, currently back to Taiwan.
I wonder if there are any ways fore me to enable 900 MHz 2600Mhz LTE or 4G bands, as those two is what my cellular company provides. (Whereas my phone supports 850Mhz, 2100Mhz and all, but just not 900 MHz or 2600Mhz)

Btw, rooting wouldn't be a problem, just help me to get it working <3
