thanks got this as an OTA yesterday dont see anything special on this update asuming we will get the MIUI 7 soon
Noticeably snappier than 6.6.6.0
My memory keep going to less than 400MB.. I have to constantly clean up to free up only to 800MB. I am able to free up to 1GB before the update..
Anyone having the same experience????

Im using china dev rom 5.8.13 and its miui 7!
Awesome rom. Great battery life, never seen mi4i batt stats is flat when its in idle state!
Also xiaomi europe 5.8.13 rom is miui 7 too.

don't flash this version, its battery drainer, and heat up much
version is better in v6.6.6.0 (but have call drop problem), MIUI is so buggy... im using PACMAN Rom Beta 2 now
Can someone share the CyanogenOS camera?
I've downloaded the app from apkmirror but panorama isn't supported. The app crashes.
Download CameraMod Next for OnePlus One. It's essentially an upgraded version of the stock COS camera app which works great on ROMs like CM & co.
Panorama included and working of course.

Version 10 is the latest one. I suggest downloading the black icon version so you can tell it apart from other installed camera applications.

Awesome tip on the camera app, thanks!
My main bugbear with all the apps I had tried was noise and speed, this seems to solve both with denoise on.
What's the best way to ensure I me always has the latest release of the app?
I'm so used to play auto updating, and am running stock COS.

No one will nd never can.. As the miui has closed soure camera. You can get a miui 5 camera port in lg g3 forum.. But its quality is not like stock as you might think.

i successfully ported the camera app for oneplus 2 and now i start this project for oneplus 3. work is in progress, so expect bugs. tell me about and best is to attach log.
bugs:
- manual focus fc
edits:
added v1.1 zips, fixed gallery edit
added v1.2 zips, ported from new OOS 3.2.0 update
- flash in recovery and enjoy. stock or other camera apps will NOT be replaced!
- previous users of old h2o cam or my old zips should uninstall old version/both "oneplus" folders in system/app first. they will now be placed in system/priv-app
don't copy nor upload it somewhere else!

The quality of the pictures is not as good as it is on stock. Especially the dark or black areas are way more noisy.

I assume it is because the image processing only works with the stock app. Stuff like dynamic denoise etc.

We need oos camera in cm because of the super quality. Third party cameras have noise

Hello, last time i friend has shown his mi 10 to me and i launched his stock camera app.
i saw that there is a manual video mode when switching to "pro" mode.
I could set the white balance, the exposure, the ISO and the focus when taking video. It was awesome. I could lock the exposure while autofocus was working and videos looked much more precessional without the annoying automatic brightness changes when recording a scene.
Even a log profile could be selected.
I ask my self if the stock camera app of the mi 10 could be ported to note 10( tranfer and modify the apk)
Any ideas? I don't think xiaomi want to give this feature to us..

Hi, in the "pro" tab of the mi 10 camera app there is a button right to the shoot button which let you toggle between video and photo. I cannot see this in your screenshot.

Hello Roman i only have a little issue with manual video in pro mode:
I cant set the manual white balance (Kelvin value)
The only workaround is switching to photo mode, selecting the Kelvin value and then switching back zu Video mode. I hope this can fixed on future..

I was able to donload the mod, but when I tried to go to the settings inside the camera, the camera would close. Then I saw that in the link you put, the solution also comes in case the app is not renamed well or it closed when trying to start it.
The solution is: delete the / data / system / package_cache / folder and restart the phone.
Miui12_Camera (Noise) .zip file adds option ZERO_SHUTTER_LAG is intended to be used by applications that keep a continuous circular buffer of high resolution images during preview and reprocess the images in that buffer into a final capture when activated by the user.
