[Completed] [note 3] bad gsm signal after microphone replacement - XDA Assist

Hey guys,
I hope you can help me.
I recently replaced my old microphone board on my Samsung note 3 with a new one since I was having problem with the microphone.
I bought an original new board but with a different revision.
My previous revision was rev. 0.9 while the new one is 1.1.
The problem is that with the new board the microphone works very well but a have a very bad GSM signal. (Gsm and microphone are on the same board).
I think this happened because the revision is different.
Is there anything I can do in order to solve the problem? May be by using a software update?
Thank you!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Sorry to hear about your trouble but we cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. Fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you. If yours is a carrier-branded model (AT&T, Verizon, etc.), look for your exact variant from the list at http://forum.xda-developers.com/compact and post in that forum for best results.
Good luck!

Thank you, Mike.
I'm sorry, but I submitted the post by using my smartphone and I didn't see the Note 3 section.
Now, I moved my post in the correct forum, thank you again!

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy GT-P5110 - 81 pin fpc connector (digitiser/touch screen)

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but have been following XDA for a good while without being registered because most of the answers to my questions were found within other forum posts but I've not found an answer to this question;
I currently possess a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P5110) and the touch screen does not work. The LCD works perfectly but doesn't respond to touches. I ordered an 81 pin FPC connector to replace the old port directly on the main board but am not 100% sure on how to remove the old one. The reason for the replacement was that I noticed a few bent pins which I believe may be causing the problem.
Can someone point me in the right direction. I won't take it to a shop because I am looking at this as a learning curve so would prefer to do this from home.
What tools would be required to remove the old 81 pin FPC connector from the GT-P5110.
Any help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.
Hi there

It's hard to guess what exact problem you have with which device/ROM/version but based on your previous post in this XDA Assist area I'm guessing you are referring to an LG G2 and, as previously suggested, you should ask your question with all relevant details in the LG G2 Q&A forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help. That said, unless you have a screenshot or a specific description of what happens under which exact circumstances I'm not sure anybody will be able to advise you.
Once again, good luck!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. Since T-mobile devices are typically fully unlocked, whatever lock someone put on your phone is not factory or carrier related and you might be able to simply reload the proper factory firmware. Fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-tmobile which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-tmobile/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you. I also see a number of references to that issue from a site search at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=rent center lock which might be worth reviewing.
Good luck!
EDIT: Member has now posted in the suggested area. Thread closed.
