Wont play MKV files

Has anyone noticed that the Honor 6/plus wont play MKV files,
If anyone has worked it out please inform me, im converting the files to DivX to make them work. going on hoilidays and want some tv series with me.

What video player do you use? I use mx player and it works just fine. Before that I used vlc and it worked too.

Thanks for getting back to me,...just worked out it was the ****ty sd card I bought from ebay...making a complaint now.

[Q]playing of files from a playlist of m3u

I had a problem with a playlist.
I created the playlist.m3u file

#EXTINF:30, Snikers
/ sdcard/MEDIA/snikers.mp4
#EXTINF:60, Coca-Cola
/sdcard/MEDIA/coca-cola.mp4

After playing of the first snikers.mp4 file, video stops and the timer of time of the clip continues to go infinitely and doesn't switch to the following clip.

It's not exactly true.
MX Player can play m3u files which is hls compliant. It's a limitation of ffmpeg.
I can watch hotstar videos which is basically a m3u list.

Well, I was thinking exactly about channels inside a m3u playlist.
MX doesnt show the list of channels, but I can play m3u8 channels of course.

Ciao a tutti e scusate il mio inglese.
Ho un hdd USB collegato a Nvidia shield pro, ultima versione del lettore MX e ultimo codec.
Quando guardo un film a 1080p tutto funziona bene ma con il video 4k ha micro scatti e a volte si blocca se seleziono hw + il video va bene ma l'audio diventa stereo.
Con la stessa situazione non succede con Kodi o VLC, ma preferisco mxplayer
Qualcuno mi aiuta? Ringraziare
