Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and we can't direct you towards a device-specific forum since you forgot to tell us which phone/ROM you have. I suggest you look for your device in the list at http://forum.xda-developers.com/compact and post in that device's forum. If your devise is not listed, try the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!

Hi,
I wanted to post this question within the following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2040163 but as i'm a newbie to this site it will not let me post in that part of the forum. If possible can a admin move this to give me the best possible chance of this question being answered?
I have been looking at the tread regarding installing GFE on a rooted device http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2040163. Can someone that has sucsessfully installed this on a rooted device please let me know if you are able to copy and then read any of the emails or attachments contained within good technologies application.

So I've rooted this device several times and only once.... have I gotten the wifi to stay on.
But I decided to turn off the device and after that next reboot, the wifi was no longer allowing me to connect.
Attempting to turn on the wifi will freeze the device. I have no idea why it's doing this nor how I got the wifi to stay on previously.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
I have successfully rooted many devices and this is the only device that has given me this much stress.
I do not want to go back to stock again, KNOX over heats the tablet and Samsung devices are known to have
heavy bloatware. I just want this device running on wifi and block the mobile data option but that requires root.
N O T E : >>>>>> Any form moderator reading this please... please ...PLEASE DO NOT re-direct me to a form
that has not given a specific answer to this problem nor close this discussion, This issue needs a solution. I can not stress the importance on this request. Any time I ask a question generally I get re-directed to another post with in the vicinity of nowhere near the request and only to go back to square one. I just really need this issue resolved as soon as possible.
I have already search on this form
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/root-sm-t237p-t2849224/page2
as well as this one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-sm-t237p-rooted-odexed-2015-04-11-t3079083
and still no solution was found.
Again please DO NOT re-direct me nor close this post.
-Thank you for your time.

Hi there,
First of all I think you need to read our sticky threads about the purpose of this XDA Assist Forum. Take a look bellow with highlighted words:
The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.
Our XDA Assist team will give you links to threads/forums that are relevant to your problem. You may be pointed towards guides and instructions that can be quite complex, so you will still need to read carefully and be cautious before attempting to make software changes to your device. It is essential you are in the correct forum for your device model; what works for one can ruin another.

Now, reading that i'm sure you understand that the best place for your question is just in the device specific forum from here:

Thank you for understanding,

So, I got this problem with my Android GT-N5100 (running Android 4.4.2). It keeps crashing apps suddenly and randomly. I flashed it with Samsung's official firmware and since then it keeps like that. I know that if I factory reset it, it's gonna be happening the same way.
I was thinking about flashing Cyanogenmod but my device is currently unsupported. That is.. There are only nightly builds available for it at this moment, and it takes too many hacks to do so, then I'm not risking it. I thought also that it could be a memory overflow problem... Maybe.. But every time I open the window manager it seems to have plenty of memory left. I use to kill apps to avoid that, but no matter what... You got it.
Would someone PLEASE link me to a stable firmware free of bugs like that or tell me what the hell is going on and how can I fix this problem??
I'm tired of it... Believe me.
Hi there,
You'd be best served asking for help from the experts who own your device here:

Hi all,
I need to know where each application data usage are monitored in android.
I am planning to hack(ethically) by having tie up with that application team.
For that I need this information,
I am able to see UI of each app usage in settings
Watsapp - 2mb
Hike - 5 mb etc
But I need the file where this data are stored.
And is there way to edit that file in rooted mobile.
I don't know whether this is the right place to ask this question but I am sure there are lot of
Brainees are there here.
Thanks in advance.

Having trouble finding info on rooting ZTE Fanfare. Saw an app that claims it works on this phone. Is it necessary to back up on my desktop first? I would love to remove bloatware, and perhaps add adfree app to remove ads, but I dont want to brick the phone. I am new at this so I would appreciate any advice. Thanks. P.S. I doubt I will ever need to flash the ROM. I just want to remove the pre-installed garbage I will never use, including Google Chrome.
