Why my android CPU clock is running at max speed? - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I own a micromax canvas elanza 2 , unrooted and bootloader locked. I recently noticed that my battery is draining too fast. so to check ram usage i downloaded an app called system panel and it showed over 80-90% ram usage and full clock speed (1190mhz).
I tried factory resetting and rebooting but it only resolves ram problem (that too again goes to 80% usage after sometime). My clock is still at 1190mhz.
please help me.
Thank You

Have you installed an kernel or tinkered with the cpu settings in any way?

No, I haven't installed any kernel. But yeah, once I installed an app called game booster 3 by its rating(4.7). It has three modes but all for rooted users. Those modes said that it would make all my cores run but I don't think it would have any effect since my phone is unrooted. I tried boosting but no significant change on the game. So I uninstalled it. After then also my phone was running fine.

[Q] i9300 heating problem

Hi everyone,
I've got a problem with my Samsung GT-I9300(Galaxy SIII) device.
The problem is each time i install some custom ROM (no matter if the kernel original or not is), my CPU is getting very hot extremely fast, even if i'm not using apps that can use a lot of memory/CPU.
Please tell me what the kind of problem is it and how to get rid of it.
Thanks
[Answear]
Try
1)Turning down the brightness
2)Turning off un-needed apps properly
3)Dont leave your android screen on when not sitting on it
4)Take out SD-Card (when not needed)
5)Dont play on your android while charging
6)Change wallpaper
(if the problem continues Please reply) :fingers-crossed:

No, it doesn't help. I've stopped all the processes every time i stopped using it and so on, but it's heating evenso. [And the check-programm shows that most time CPU was used fully-4 cores, 1,4GHz]

The most interesting that it's not a phone problem. When I install some kind of stock OS (no matter if it's XXEMG4 kernel or XXUFME7 etc.), everything is OK.
BUT DON'T RECOMEND ME TO FLASH STOCK OS! I'M THE CUSTOM OS's FUN!!
Tweak the build.prop for battery related lines...and yea also frequently clear the ram.. And browse the net for prevention of overheating of battery and install the scripts..

No problem with battery. CPU is overheating - I've checked this.
Root your phone and install v6 supercharger. Makes your phone faster and uses less ram so less cpu consumption and less heating

4 A57 cores in Snapdragon 810 have stopped working, what to do?

device: Yu Yutopia
problem: suddenly there was lot of lag in my phone, i checked the cpu utilization and cpu frequency numbers, 4 a53 cores were running at high frequency and 4 a57 cores were offline.
the device is root, but i didn't do anything with the kernal or the rom.
i have changed the performance profiles , but cores were still offline.
i have reset my device and started restoring apps using titanium backup and the problem repeated again.
i was using xposed framwork for more than 20 days without any problem and yesteray this problem suddenly started.
i tried uninstalling XF and uninstalling modules but nothing worked so far.
i am trying to reset the device again and install apps directly from play store now.
currently running official CM12.1
why did this happen?
how to solve it?
cpu frequency missing in cpu z app

The CPU Load is always high? anyone can hel me?

Hello , I've received my xz for ten days , but the CPU load is always high even when the phone is idle. Just like the screenshot, there is obviously no app currently running in background , but the CPU load can reach 38% and all 4 cores are on. Back to the days with my z3, the snapdragon 801 often only have 1 or 2 cores working in idle state, so anyone can tell me what causes this problem?
Btw, when I switch on the stamina mode , the phone will become very laggy, I think it's also related to the CPU load problem.
I appreciate your help , thank you.
You need to check the battery and see what apps are displaying there as to taking up your usage..
If you cannot figure it out you may need to perform a factory reset and monitor as you install each of your apps.
the stamina mode will make the phone laggy as it also decreases the performance of the CPU

Power save cpu limit not working??

I'm on G920IDVU3FQC5 May security patch & no root. Since last update I've noticed slightly weird behaviour with my phone like unexpected lag, then smooth, scrolling issues, memory leak.
Didn't notice that cpu was not limited to 70% in Medium power saving until I opened cpu-z. The a57 cores still go to 2.1 ghz. And I've de/reactivated cpu limit, restart the phone, wipe cache partition in stock recovery with no improvements. Maybe it was a bad update from Samsung.
Anybody having the same issues?
EDIT: It's now working!

Unable to see CPU Frequency on Android 7.0 Nougat

After update 7.0 Nougat on my Xperia XA (F311) I am unable to see CPU Frequency in any app. On Xperia XA/XA Ultra Forum a guy sad that its because of app that is not updated for android 7.0 and many users of android 7.0 are having problems like me so I need to contact the developer. I think that is not true because I tried every single app for showing CPU Frequency and every app says that all of my 8 cores are stopped and even shows that base frequency is 0-0MHz instead of showing something like 300-1950MHz. Only CPU percentage (%) is showing (like 36% CPU is used). Do I need to enable something in Settings I don't actually know... On Android 6.0 Marshmallow I was able to see CPU Frequency usage so I don't know where is problem. If someone has solution or even seems to have the same problem like me I would be very thankful to share experience here. Please help and Cheers!!
Edit: On my Older phone Xperia M4 Aqua every CPU Frequency showing app is working just fine and phone with me is still very smooth and note that I take so much care to my smartphones.
