Got the OTA for 12.1 for a few days ago and it has made my OPO almost useless. I don't have any reception anymore were I live. Is there any hotfix coming for the radio or is there something else I can try?
Yeah, some thing isn't right. I'm having same issue.

Hey guys,
So I jumped on the Virtuous Saga bandwagon last night and flashed the new radio and ROM. Worked great but I had no data reception (wifi was fine).
So I went back to the Radio I was originally using, 20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M but I still have no reception at all, anywhere.
I've tried it with Virtuous and my nandroid of Blindice and get nothing, is there anything that could have gone wrong that I can fix? I don't understand it, it was fine before flashing the new radio.
Thanks!
You probably forgot to define the correct APNs for your network.
Well, phoned O2 and it seems a mast near here isn't working, so it might just be a coincidence! Have to wait and see, sorry for the topic!
I had the same problem on the MIUI V4 ROM and a battery pull solved it

Problem solved by now?
Sent by my fingers to your head.
So, I've had my Nexus 5 with the $50/mo Net10 AT&T SIM plan and it works well, but I have an occasional issue of the signal dropping. It is completely random and the duration that I go while having no signal is random as well.
This issue came after I put CyanogenMod 11 M2 on. I know that CM 11 isn't stable yet, but if there is a solution to this particular problem I would like to know. If I have to, I can go back to the stock ROM, but I have gotten so used to the nice features of CM after using it for over a year on my Skyrocket that I would prefer not to.
Thank you for any help!
So what's the question?
Are you asking if others are having the same issue or if there's a solution (since you mentioned CM M2 isn't stable yet?). Not sure how to answer here

Oh, sorry! I guess both would good to know, but I'm mostly concerned with getting a fix for it so that I can have a reliable signal.
Thanks!
Calls drop often. Usually within the first minute, and then every time when Im calling back after 10sec. The phone itself does not lose signal. Strange thing is, if I'm getting phone call after first/second drop, phone continues connection without problems... But Only when Im receiving a phone call not when Im trying to re-call someone.
- I tried replacing my sim and the issue persists. No problems with other phones using this Sim (even in the same locations).
These are pretty annoying issues. Anybody else experiencing them? Is there a different radio I can try for the phone? Is there any log I can access showing a reason for the call drop, or any trouble shooting I can do? This seems to be independent of WCDMA Only/Preferred/GSM/WCDMA (Auto) settings. Or if, how to change these settings?
Note: This has nothing to do with the network. I've been with the same company (Orange Europe) for about 2.5 years, and have never had this happen before. This has been consistent since I got my OnePlus (about 1 week ago)
That's true. I'm experiencing this as well for quite some time now. At first I joked and said: Hey, the NSA joined our conversation.....again. But after some time it really annoys me. This has nothing to do with the ROM or kernel as I have tried out various combinations. What I found out is that it got better after I returned to stock CM 11s with stock kernel. But it's not gone completly.
Honestly I neither know how to fix it nor what is causing the problem. Try to reflash the CM11S 25R firmware and see if it gets better. I think something is wrong with the modem software since CM11S 22R,25R and CM11 builds are using the same modem software. Maybe the announced update for the end of this month or early next month will fix this. I really hope so because a phone which is not able to hold a call, can't be considered as a real phone.
Oh im pitty You, If You'll get something just please let me know. Any advices or help will be appreciated. Maybe waiting for new CM relase will solve the problem, I do rly like this OS even with so many bugs... there is always an option. Move to stock 4.4 published by OP on official website.
Anyone else facing the same issue? Was there ever a fix for this issue? I'm on 38R and still encountering this issue
Same here.
See this thread for answers and work around. No solution as of yet.

Ever since I started running the Lollipop beta I've had issues with the GPS on my N5, Maps will constantly only update my location every few minutes and tell me that it has lost signal in places that I used to get great signal. I'm running official lollipop now, I had hoped the issue would go away but to no avail.
Any tips?

I don't think this is a Lollipop issue. It is known that the N5 has issues with GPS signal.
I'm on Kit Kat and I get the same problem all of the time. All of my other phones get a clean GPS signal quick with no issues.
It may be just me, but I have not found anything that has worked.
you aren't alone on this one....

You can always support this issue at AOSP : https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=81140 and trying to have Google's attention. Since it is in the top 50 of the unresolved issues, I suppose it will at one moment get some attention.
I installed the resurrection-remix rom yesterday and i have a big problem with it.
i know the resurrection-remix is actually based on cm 12.1, the same problem happened when i had installed the cm 12.1 last month.
the problem is that sometimes my phone signal just suddenly goes out, and i have to wait for a few minutes to get the signal back, i dont know if this is the telecommunications company's problem, becuz i live in hong kong, and i am not using something like t-mobile, maybe the network is different, but i just want someone to help me fix this if it is possible

Hi, thank you for using XDA assist.
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can get better help and support if you try to ask over there.
Good luck.
