As the title says I really hope the volume rockers works on this phone because they didn't work on the 2014 moto x which was a big disappointment for those that use non Bluetooth headsets.
Do you mean volume rockers from the inline controls on wired headphones?

Wired headphones.

Wouldn't that depend on the headphones and not the phone?
I have a Galaxy S 5 right now, and my samsung headphone rocker works just fine. But when I used my skullcandy headphones the rockers didn't work.
It is the headphones. I have some headphones that work and others dont with my phone.

Headphone wirings arent all the same. There are still standards to it. Just like if you plugged in an Apple Earpods it does not work for example on Sony handsets but works on Samsung and Motorola. So basically its all because your headphone wirings does not match the one designed for Moto. So make sure to test and double check before purchasing

I plan on buying some Motorola S10 HD's and I use Power Amp app to play music. Does the Inspire 4G support bluetooth AVRCP?
I have a pair of Moto S10-HDs and they work perfectly with the Inspire. All buttons function how they should.

Awesome, thanks! Any lag or skipping using bluetooth? When I pair my Inspire to my double din JVC in dash player using bluetooth the audio seems to skip or pause for a little bit.
I have not noticed any audio issues. Sound is pretty good. Loud too.

My S9's work very well. I'd assume S10's won't be any issue. Enjoy!

Turn off wifi to avoid skipping. Wifi signal interferes with bluetooth

I just remembered reading about how the HTC one x had a hidden feature which allowed Bluetooth headsets to act as remote camera shutters and decided to try it. It is supposed to be slightly different button combos depending on your headset. Just open your camera app with your headset paired and then play with button combos to see what works.
My Jawbone Icon uses a double tap of the primary button (which also is "re-dial") to activate my shutter. Pretty neat! Post what button combos you used for your headsets

I remember reading this too. I wonder why such a great feature is hidden?

My guess is that you're not using the sense camera .apk if you're running 4.2.1. This sounds like it's a feature of the factory camera app, and not the vanilla one.

Jabra Extreme 2 works with double tap, but only if you are only connected to the HOX (supports 2 devices simultaneously). This is kinda cool.

The sound is great, the only but is that there is no working volume control. Get it to work via app would be great.
PS. The mic works and function for and/answer call too.
Nexus 4 doesn't support ANY kind of up/down button....
Tested on about 6 headsets

Hey everyone.
I own a Moto G XT 1033 stock KK 4.4.2 ( non rooted locked bootloader )
Pretty happy with phone in every respect.
However something weird has happened.
From this morning whenever I plug in my headsets into the phone for listening the music the music stops and cracks.
Plays bits and pieces and that too the sound comes from the speakers and not the headsets.
Since the stock headsets are too uncomfortable I use Sony's headsets.
I tried with different ones and no use.
The music works fine on speaker but messes up every time is plug in my headsets.
Anyone had the same issue?
Sounds like the headphone jack/port on the device itself is messed up.
Maybe one of the grounds is not working properly, or disconnected all together.

I would. If multiple headsets don't work, chances are the device needs servicing.

Anyone planning to come up with a mod that fixes the Bluetooth quality when streaming while connected to a wearable? I know APT-x doesn't suffer from this problem but my car stereo is A2DP (Ford Focus 2013). The crackling is annoying as hell, makes it sound like I'm listening to a 64kbps file when I'm playing FLAC files
