using vodafone 3G network in redmi 1s. its a dual sim mobile have options to select 2G or 3G on both sims. when i am selecting 3G its not activating. whats the problem is there i am not getting. pls help me on this.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Sometimes it's a situation of the network frequencies of the phone not meeting the requirements of the provider (in this case, Vodafone). But everything seems to match in my research. I did also find out that SIM2 is 2G only (generally - I say that because there is a YouTube video that claims to have found a way around that) . But if your problem is with SIM1, that's another story.

I purchased a Note 3 N9005. In the network mode, when I select WCDMA/GSM Autoconnect, the mobile goes without network. However, on selecting GSM only, it works. On WCDMA/GSM Autoconnect, I am not even able to make or receive calls. Please help me solve this issue

GSM works but switching to WCDMA causes problems
Hi, just received my Honor 4X in China. It's a nice phone with incredible features for a low price. As I travel a lot between China and Germany I bought the FDD version.
What I did not realize (Chinese description) was the fact that SIM1 is locked for China Telecom. SIM2 accepts my German SIM but only with 2G.
Any Idea how to unlock SIM1 so that I can use LTE with my German SIM card?

My network mode is set as LTE on my nexus 5, but when I do that my phone won't register into my network provider. I am sure that I have enabled LTE through my network provider. But when I search for network providers manually it shows my provider but I'm unable to register onto it.
My question is, does it mean that my phone supports the LTE band of the network providers that I got in my search result?

Am using lava iris X5 for some days am not able get 3G in my phone. I checked network setting changed the sim card reset the phone for three times
after that also am not able to get the 3G in my phone. If i switched the 3G on and put the network mode in WCDMA only it only shows the No service emergency services only. If i put GSM mode then am getting 2G signal and internet. Help me guys to solve this problem.

Hi Team, I bought HTC one m8 sprint model and using in India on Airtel network.
2g and 3g is working great on this however 4g is not working at all. I Googled it and came to know that sprint uses 1900 MHz antenna for LTE networks but airtel uses 2300 MHz spectrum so 4g is not working. I wanted to know if it is possible to change the lte frequency for phone through any settings or by any application. Please help if it is possible.
