I thought all you have to do is Odin any stock firmware would do it!

Download the tool kit from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746665 run the tool and select the rom for your phone and flash. If you don't have driver installed on your pc, you need to use this tool to flash the driver first, then flash the rom.

[Q][Help] Can't Root Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5110) with Omni ROM 4.4.2

hi guys! Well, I installed on my tab 2 the omni ROM made on kitkat(4.4.2). It's very good and fast, but now, my devide is unrooted and I tried to root again but the 4.2.2 root does not work on 4.4.2 and now I can't root. Someone can Help me and find a way to root it again or create a root file for p5110 4.4.2?

What do you mean "unrooted"? Does this mean you can't get superuser access? I believe with Omni you need to flash the SuperSU zip that is mentioned and linked in the op of Omni. Have you flashed SuperSU?

Hey man i haved the same problem but no worry you just have to flash the supersu file ZIP that is given on the omni ROM topic with the recovery that's all you have maybe forgot to DL it ! Have a good d'Ay!

And later to a dark Rom

I used newroot... then flashed this MOD, but I got bootloop... How did you root?
BTW, is this the RU, or EURO or DE version of 4.4.4?

Wich fw did you have?
This is ONLY for the new 4.4.4 fw.
This Mod will only deodex the stock odex Firmware.

I flashed the 108 RU via flashtool. Root with newroot. Then flashed your MOD...

I have checked this fw version and have flashed this Mod and did not have any bugs.Now i'am on the generic de fw.
The best is,flash a other Version and than my Mod.
Root and Recovery can you take what you want.
That is not relevant wich you used.
Fact is.. You must have Root and a Recovery for Flash.
1. Flash via Flashtool a other ftf
2. Root your Device
3. Flash the Recovery
4. Flash my Deodexed Mod

You dont need a open BL.
Only,for a custom Kernel you need a open BL.

Link works fine for me. If you are downloading through your phone, request the page to be in Desktop Mode through Chrome and then you can download the file.

I share a Tutorial for this, tonight.

Wil using this method to deodex allow the 4k and 120fps mod to work properly? I want to use that but without the hassle of unlocking the bootloader and whatnot.

You need to flash the root files too through recovery AFTER FLASHING the ROM as stated in the OP of the ROM's thread.

But still some apps like mobogenie and gamecih says root denied
Anyone know how fix this problem.

i flashed the stratos root zip in both recorvery [stock,twrp] and flashed the cf zip [twrp] but supersu still having problems with the binary

There might be some issues with your rooting method. I also had to face these problems.
Thankfully there is baiduroot.
Try Baidu Root from its official site and give it a try i am 100% sure that you will see what you want. Please note that it is a chinese app but you can use it easily just google Baidu root method.
And others would recommend english version but i suggest you to use the official and latest because that was what helped me.
