Htc e8. Rom.. - HTC One E8

Hey
I have a HTC One E8 / M8Sw - dual sim. I have stupidly wiped the OS from TWRP when I was suppose to wipe the cache...
Now phone won't boot into OS. I have researched but seem like most custom ROMs do not support dual-sim? I am now trying to find the stock ROM that came with the phone or even one that will support dual-sim.
Can anybody help? Also what do I need to do? I can only access the TWRP. I have been trying to save ROMs that are suitable to micro SD card and trying to install but everytime it keeps failing? Not sure if I have located dud copies of the Stock ROM?
Thanks for any help! :/

Try Sammobile.com has most stock os versions of most phones

[Q] Wont recognize SIM card after flashing rom on MOTO G PLEASE HELP!

Hello, i recently thought about flashing a rom on my phone, i did all the basic stuff unlock boot loader, root etc but when i put the file on my device i got stuck in a bootloop, so i panicked a little and went on to google to find a STOCK ROM for the moto g. I found one and flashed that instead, it did infact save my device and i was so happy at the point, but then i noticed that at the top on my task bar it said i had no signal on BOTH Sdcards when infact this phone only has 1!? (my o2 simcard was in at the time) Anyway i went into setting and it had above he wifi setting "Dual SIM settings" which i have never even seen before. Anyway i clikced on that and it says 'SIM1 Disabled' and below it says 'SIM2 Disabled' Also my Mobile DATA has vanished to. All this worked before i went and screwed up my device. Im kind of in a panic and really dont want to loose this phone :crying: :crying: Please can anyone help get me back my signal and data, other then that everything else is working normal.

You have flashed a single sim variant of the stock ROM on your device, find the dual sim version for your phone here: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
Also, of course your data has gone as your phone has undergone a reset and firmware flash
All of them are not for 4.4.4 or does that not matter?

Absolutely. From experience, you must flash the dual sim variant. Unfortunately, there is 4.4.4 available, but only for the States. You might PM me the OTA update package and I'll be able to help.

[Completed] [Q] Sim problems

Okay, so I recently bought a Nubia z7 max, and it came fine working, sim card worked in lte, all the bells and whistles, the version was a multilang version of the 1.64 official software, so i used the official update tool provided by to update to a 5.0 android version of their software so it would repartition my internal memory in a way that CM12 would work, it worked. All was fine and dandy until I saw a friends Nexus 5 able to dual boot(using MultiRom app from play-store) i was so jealous of him that i copied his build.prop to my phone in an attempt to make my phone think it was a nexus 5. My idiotic attempt got my phone in a boot-loop, this resulted in me flashing a 3.09 version of the nubia software on it then TWRP and finally restoring from my CM12 backup using TWRP. But i have a problem neither sim slots seem to work, i already checked and the sim card works(by putting it into another phone), and no sim works on mine. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me recover my precious phone. Thank you in advance.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Yeah, never flash or copy system files from a different device than you have. You most likely need to flash the stock firmware on your device and start over to get the sim to work again. The best place to ask how to do this is in your device specific forum. See here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/zte-z7/help and also this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/zte-z7

[Completed] [Q] LG G2 D800 Custom Rom not recognising sim card

Hi
I´m a little new to flashing roms etc, I have an LG G2 D800 which was on AT&T in America, here in Spain it is on the Vodafone network. I followed the procedure to flash the custom rom by Rashed97 with accompanying gapps and other zips (Supersu). Everything went well until I rebooted, during the setup procedure the operating system tells me that I can´t find or recoginse a sim card even though it is in place. I repeated the procedure but it still says there is no sim card and I´m not sure what to do, everything else wifi etc works fine. Whats the best thing to do, change to a different rom?
Thanks in advance for your help

Can I make a J730G/DS think it is not dual sim?

I have a j730g/ds, but have a specific reason to need a single-sim phone (as in a phone that does not accept 2 sims). The firmware is identical for the G and G/ds models - is there a way to modify/delete system elements that will make this phone's os think it is single-sim? I don't know if it is possible, but a layman's example of what I would want to do would be substitute a system element from a single-sim model that would not even recognize the 2nd sim slot, thus it only recognizes and communicates with sim1, and thinks it is a single-sim phone.
any insight appreciated into this. it is apparently complicated to get an unlocked single-sim version of this phone.
So, in settings, connections, sim card manager- you can't turn off one sim?

it seems like if there is not a sim in there, you cannot turn it off.
my goal is to make the phone a non-dual-sim phone at the system level - no matter what is stuck in the sim2 slot.
Hmmm...... you can't turn off a sim card that's not there ......
Try turning off the sim first, then power off and remove it.
Now am very curious as to why you need this single sim state ?

Hi,
I installed TWRP recovery both this version 3.1.1 and 3.2.1 or something. But both failed. How? I installed it with odin and it went smoothly but when I reboot it stuck at samsung logo even after clearing cache and Delvic cache. I tried many times still I could not install it. Every time, it stuck at logo with both version of Twrp. Any ideas?
