I bought a new sony headphone with microphone today. Though it says "headset for iphone calls", the mic actually works. The issue is that its sensitivity is way too low and people can hardly hear me through the headphone mic.
it's really frustrating cuz I already had a headphone and I buy this one mainly for making phone calls...
So my question is that, is there a way to control the voltage gain of the mic independently?
thank you guys in advance~~~~~
I just bought this xmi x-mini II speaker
the sound is incredibly loud and very good bass for its size
when connected to my laptop, ipod or iphone...
while connecting it with my desire hd its volume has just enough loudness,
on max volume on phone and max on xmini speaker...
i wonder if how many power output from the 3.5mm earphone jack the desire hd have,
does it cause this or is it just a software issue since the speaker has built-in battery that could last up to 12 hours on normal playback so i guess power output is not an issue.
anyone got this speaker?
I've got one of these; awesome little thing and excellent battery life too.
I've not tried it in any other phone so I can't judge how much louder or quieter than other devices the headphone output on the DHD is. Still, 'loud enough' for me...

I may have the solution, I also have a X-Mini and it's possibly the best gadget I've ever bought, the problem is not the X-Mini but it's in fact your Desire HD or should I say the software. I found the fix for this by accident and posted it in the general forum and it worked for just about everyone. Do this, plug in your X-Mini play your music and put everything as loud as possible on the phone and on the X-Mini, while it's playing open up the phone and make a phone call, the call needs to go all the way through, end the call and presto magic !! Listen to the sound difference... be prepared to put the volume down. If this does not work try downloading volume ace from the market and turn everything up with that.
I found this fix one day by accident when I had my phone plugged into the audio jack of my car.
I just recently ordered the 1more triple driver earbuds. They sound great. But I have to have the volume maxed out to get a decent level. I'm mostly using Google Music to listen to music. I was having similar issues even using a pair of cheap JVC earbuds. But with the 1more it's even worse. I'm wondering if it's the amp limitations or a faulty device. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
I have a pair of AKG Y20Us and sometimes I have to max them out to get a comfortable level, and sometimes max volume is way too loud for me, I'm not sure what the deal is.
Hi Guys,
So got my magic 2 and I'm pretty impressed for the most part. I'm just a little let down with the max volume on the device through either wired earphones or Bluetooth earphones. Maybe I was a little spoiled with my rooted 6p but I'm finding myself downloading volume booster apps which increase the volume but also distort the sound as a result. Does anyone else notice a lower than normal max volume on this device? Would official honor earphones make a difference?
Cheers
Hi All,
I have recently come back to the OP7P after using an XS Max. I have been using Airpods 2 with the iPhone and the volume on Bluetooth was superb. Most the time I listened with it a few steps from maximum.
Now with the Oneplus I'm currently using the Cambridge Audio Manomania as they had really good reviews but the volume is no where near. I've tried changing the absolute volume setting, flashed the booster in magisk and tried using AVCRP 1.6 but it's still really low.
Does anyone know any Bluetooth buds or USB c headphones that will at least deliver similar volume to the Airpods?
I recently purchased these Treblab earbuds and I am happy with them. They don't sound as deep as my Phaiser headphones but when the volume is raised on the Treblabs it's pretty crisp sounding and volume is pretty high. I want to add that I have never used the apple airpods though. I just downloaded one of the viper audio mods and I'm going to see how that interacts with the Treblabs.
Over all I'm loving them though..pretty loud and my work environment is noisy

I've Xs Max too & I'm using First Gen Airpods with 7 Pro & They get pretty loud , equivalent to iPhone. Only Thing I noticed is that maybe battery drains faster. I'm not rooted, everything is stock
Maybe I'll have to try airpods again just wasn't sure how well they would work.
Was thinking of powerbeats Pro as well but no way of testing them before hand
I got Amiron Wireless of Beyerdynamic and I am fine with them.
