I have a pre-release version of the LG Thrill 4G and it has Software Version:
LGP925-V10a-JUN-17-2011
I know the phones just released and they have version V10e with a build date of August 10th if I'm not mistaken. There are a ton of issues with the ROM I have, hence why the device was delayed. Does anyone have a link to download and install the new version? On my phone when I search for updates it says none are available and won't update.

I've been using the phone for about a month now and I also have version 10a. I will see if I can update via the computer. The phone is telling me there is no OTA update.

I have tried to see about getting the rom from the update tool but it verifies the phone with lg's servers. It told me that my phone doesnt support the S/w whatever that is
if its pre release it might not be able to recieve updates OTA at all. untill there is a version of cwm for the thrill you are stuck.
I have a thrill too, can it flash rom for 920?
hi everybody,
received an update this morning for the ME865 for the 2.3.6 version. the system update was around 35 MB. strangely there were no release notes. or i couldn't find any. however it says now it's the 55.90.11.ME856.retail.en.05.
if somebody has any info about what it fixed,would be appreciate.

Nope, this is a completely different update for one of the international versions of the Atrix 2, ME865. That link is for the USA update for AT&T MB865.
TheAdlaBerlin: Without inspecting the update itself, we can only speculate about what it may contain- though I would guess they're using a similar codebase for the MB865 and ME865.

hmm, i guess you're right. logically since the [email protected] just got their 2.3.6 update finally, i also suppose the ME update contains smaller bugfixes that are probably included in the big one for the [email protected] i did not notice any new apps and since the unbranded ME comes without any extra apps except the standard stuff, i guess must be some bugfixes. when i clicked on the release notes, it just transferred me to the Motorola homepage where i can choose my region on the world map.

For giggles, you could try "fastboot oem unlock" to see if the new release has an unlocked bootloader (very unlikely )
about the changes
The baseband has been upgraded to the latest version 2011-12-05 in which the EDGE problems has been fixed.
BTW, the carrier name will be displayed in the notification area.
It seems that the ME865 got this update nearly a month ago, why your ME865 received it this morning?
This time the update is for AT&T's MB865, but I found nothing new except what yinzhili mentioned on ME865.
i dunno, bought it 2 weeks ago. did regular system update check. told me i am up to date and this morning it just popped up. well its working though and yeah edge connections are better now as you guys said.

Just an update, the software update greatly improves performance. The phone is now very snappy. Noticed that RAM usage decreased as well (I usually get around 200+ MB Free, now I get 600+MB).
Don't know about thermal throttling issues though, will have to test further.
Phone remains on Android 5.0.1 (software version V10c-SEA-XX)
Has the update fixed any of the performance issues? People have reported?
I've not received it yet but looking forward to it...
Hopefully it will be the fix we've been waiting for and the people who returned their phone and exchanged them for some something else will regret being so impatient..

Just got 10c a minute ago and it's a mixed bag. Phone is much hotter now but faster. But there is still lag for Facebook external share, 3x longer than g3

There is Spain version, also France , Hungury and few more.. You have to check forums to see exactly what region is covered through this update.
I've just recieve mine Hungury and i make update but i have almost same expiriance.
Some app goes faster but some apps get slower then before.

Could I install the .kdz file to update my mobile phone?
Would I have problem installing the free Spanish version in Orange phone?
I have the H99510A version and LGPCSUITE says the phone has the latest version installed.

Just downloaded and installed it now OTA. Seems lag is fixed, or at least reduced, but still testing.
In UK btw.
Update: phone is definitely snappier, lag gone as far as I can tell. No excessive heat issues so far. Nice update!

Ha! Interesting. This morning the phone notified me of an update (Sprint US), so I promptly tried. The phone rebooted, was installing for a while, then I got the picture of an Android in a coma with the triangle stuck in his belly. What now I said. You can't pull the battery and I didn't find any reset holes. Power+volume down. The phone booted and is working fine but no update installed and get this... no update available. WT actual F?

I'm wondering if people in the know could help me out. I'm looking to purchase a new device and I'm looking pretty hard at the G Flex 2 (its really cheap).
The model is a LG G Flex2 4G LTE H959 varient with 2gb of RAM.
Has this model received an update to Lollipop 5.1.1 yet? How is it's performance? I see wildly differing reviews online.

The OTA is still not released and KDZ seems to not be published by LG as well because of a message from your phone when you boot it.. But it works just fine so

My Singapore H959 still hasn't received the update. Waiting patiently, but others have success in flashing the Taiwan version of it.

just got a software update for my lg g flex 2 i am on sprint. everyone is aware of the latest update that gets you on 5.1.1... which is called ls996zv6. but this morning my phone said an update was ready and had been downloaded. so i updated at looked at the software version. at im actually on ls996zv7 now. i cant find any news about this update, and its not even on sprints available lg g flex 2 update lists yet. so id like to know has anyone else got this update yet from sprint?

Well, looks like the Wi-Fi icon is different too. Hopefully with 140mb download there were other changes as well.

I use the Korean version of G Flex 2(F510L) and today I get the OTA too, the version is v15i(previous firmware version was v15d).
The major difference I found while using the phone was that the frequency of the big core is not always remaining at lowest clock, which is 384mhz. Rather it fluctuates between 384mhz and 1.8Ghz. And this makes the performance of the phone much better.
Can someone upload a update.zip for the ZV7, please?
Or can I directly update from ZV5 to ZV9?
