Description:
This app is an alternative to apps like Booking.com and Hotels.com (which are still great), where they sometimes try to show you hotels that are most profitable for them BEFORE showing you hotels that might be the best for you .
They also do not show the map locations of the hotels when they present them as a listview, which makes it harder to compare the hotels' locations.
With lookup you can quickly see all the nearby hotels on the map along with their prices, without making any clicks or doing anything.

Search (using google autocomplete api) a place anywhere on earth
Select the type of hotels you are looking for - shared rooms (cheapest) , cheap private room and vacation/business (best value, more expensive hotels)

Hey all
This is an app I've been working on while I've been travelling a little, actually working out of coffee shops. I found there wasn't really a good resource to easily find places nearby that have good wifi, power outlets AND good coffee, only bloggers "top 10 coffee shops to work from in.." type posts so I built an app for that!
It's super simple, it takes your location & displays the best places near you as recommended by other users (including myself). You can filter by places that have wifi, power outlets, how many people it seats etc.. As mentioned the content is all user generated & you can vote places up or down using the rating system in the app, so if someone submits a crap listing you'll know
Right now there's a ton of places for London, New York, San Fran, Mexico City, Bali, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Toronto, Montreal & a few others, with 1 or 2 in other places like Norway for example..
So yeah.. if you ever happen to find yourself needing a coffee shop or cafe to work from for a bit (or just somewhere with decent wifi) maybe you wanna give this a go

1. About the permissions: We have a facebook login, because we could not implement our own due to some issues. that is a work in progress.
2. Your PII is encrypted and kept secure, and no human has access to it. Since it is early days, we used scripts to create dummy data based on the dataset we had, as well as publicly available datasets for our algorithms.
3. RIght now, booking happens at the airline and provider websites.
No payments. Completely free. Forever.
