Motorola Bounce - X Style (Pure) General

Well, Motorola is just playing with us or he is trying to become another Samsung
the Moto Bounce has a 5.43-inch QHD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 810 with 3GB RAM. Other specs include 32 or 64GB storage, a 21MP camera (likely the one from the Style), and a 3760 mAh battery. The phone will also reportedly offer a “shatterproof” design meaning it will have probably a MIL-STD rating.

It'll be a verizon exclusive as the new turbo. I read about this before it was "official"

Nope, they are getting the play and the turbo, it was reported a few weeks ago that the turbo would be higher end specs with an "unbreakable" screen so it has to be this. Too bad verizon locks down their phones. By the looks of the photos it may only have a single front firing speaker

Now It's understandable why the Style only have a 3000mha battery

the droid maxx 2 is the play. the droid turbo 2 is the bounce/force

Yeah, remember they did this last year with the moto x when they released the first turbo. So I don't see it as pulling a "samsung" it's the normal device evolution with Verizon and their exclusivity. Maybe the bounce will have a pure version that people can buy? Either way I think I'll be happy with my X

Doesn't look nearly as good as the Pure though. And, I can't stand the Verizon bloatware they put on their phones. My HTC One M8 had enough of that.

The 3 buttons are something new to me.I know WP7 phones have 3 buttons but they don't look like this one (Unless there is another phone with the same buttons) so what's the deal here? If it's real I hope it has dual core
Well on the 2nd Picture, the HTC logo is very pixelated while the rest of the photo is sharp.. not very thrustfully

if you note the 4th picture, see the logo is missing, looks fishy, but can never be sure
Why it doesn't have sense?
This really doesn't make sense, (pun unintended )
They only recently released the desire HD so why would they have a prototype of a second one already working, the name is strange and very unlikely to be named that, aswell as the fact it doesn't fit in with htc's recent designs (this one being plastic and shiny where as htc tend ti make theirs metal and interesting), on top of it obviously running stock android with no sense, and if it was an upgrade why remove one of the led flashes? And some more things
Sorry to be a downer on all this
definitely shopped
contrary to the specs, it's actually running AOSP FroYo. also, that actually looks more like that Motorola tablet which was announced the other day, not too sure though. the HTC logo is obviously photoshopped, i think on the moto tablet there is a verizon logo. either way, it looks really dodgy to me.
its a fake.
whyelse are the pictures well in common and then at the frame of the phone there are pixels and also on the pic with the HTC logo only pixels on the right top compare it to the left top. So why are we even talking about this bad fake pics?
Yea... its obviously fake, I mean the Desire Hd was realeased about 2 months ago, so there isn't much sense in releasing this so soon. Plus its not running sense, but that might just be because its an early version. Though that Htc logo almost definitley photoshopped.

Am I the only one who wants a good candybar qwerty android?

Like that but GSM for T-Mo?
Blackberry or a slider is about all you'll get on T-Mobile.
Ok - how about even AT&T? It is just nuts that there is no demand for this I feel like. It would help move people from BB.
I believe the Verizon Droid Pro can be unlocked for use on AT&T? I know it has a GSM radio in there somewhere!
My ultimate ideal is the Dell Venue Pro with Android. I'll keep dreaming

I looked into that - the last time I checked using it on AT&T was a no-go. Could have changed since then.
I would absolutely love one of these styles to show up, rocking a largish screen and decent internals with a stock build of Gingerbread.

The dell venue pro is the best phone you'll get for t-mobile, fortunately for me and unfortunately for you its not running android.

Both Galaxy Pro and Facebook phone are underpowered, tiny/crappy screens. We need a REAL phone in those formats. The one for Sprint is perfect format.
you should wait for motorola pro then, but its probably expensive. http://gsmarena.com/motorola_pro-3781.php

lol its basically same phone (but with bigger internal memory, and bit smaller) than the one in your original post yet its still crappy for you. if you want a better screen just go full touch. otherwise the phone would be too expensive to market, not to mention too large.

Goodbye Atrix 2 community !

Updated : 24 Mar. 2013
Hi guys here, I'm back !
My "old" but like new shape Atrix 2 was in dry cabinet for 8 months. Now it has been replaced with good mother board that came from broken screen one.

---------------------------------------------------
Been Atrix 2's user for 5 months. It's a very good phone with many advantages over other that I've ever used : rock build with manly body shape, runs fast and fast even at stock Rom, battery so good right out of the box and phone always be cool during of heavy using...
But unlucky for me, just a moment that I could not be patient anymore and made huge mistake and my phone gone to the hell forever
Now I switched to Google Nexus S with very cheap price for ~$150 and flash cooked Rom every ... hour ! OMG, I so wonder if an obsolete hardware like it can runs very fast and smooth with ICS or JB, even with all procedures in touch CWM : flashing, booting, backup and restoring etc... so fast.
I just need about 3 mins done for a every new Rom (including flashing + booting). So surprise !
Thanks all of you guys here. I've had lot of happy time here. Good luck to all !
Be happy with our Atrix 2 ! Goodbye !
So long, and enjoy the new phone! Feel free to stop in and say hello from time to time, specially after Jim finally unlocks that pesky bootloader!

This phone is very old man! Development is definitely above average. I would suggest a different phone though as it's outdated and you have much better alternatives. Look for moto g or moto g2(if you can wait)
I will buy this phone because is at $100 dollars and Moto G is at $200.
An underrated classic
I have mine rooted, tweaked and overclocked to 1333 mhz. It's Antutu benchmarking at 13611 which is faster than many medium grade phones coming out now. I also picked up the lapdock from eBay for 60 and ever since I've not been relying on my laptop for writing, emailing, watching movies or surfing the Web ever since. As soon as there is compelling reason I imagine I'll try upgrading to kitkat but it's running so smooth fast and solidly now I'm afraid to risk it. Be advised however, the kitkat and jellybeans ROMs break the HDMI function I. E. Lapdock-ability.

You will run into battery issues which is not a happy thing when you buy a new phone. Seriously, even though the hardware is still good, the age of the phone is more than 3 years. It was made for android 2.3... and barely got ICS update officially. There should be better investment for $100.
I finally buy a Moto G in my country (Chile) for $150

Specs and Developer ordering info direct from manufacturer
Time to get in on the ground floor!
So what will you do?
Withe the changes to Android L, would you still consider a device such as this?
Looks like an interesting device, but the website mentions it will only be sold to approved companies. Not too much of an issue because I think the Z4 will have pretty much these exact specs. I think that will be the first big brand device with an 810? Rumours say it will be announced early January and available in March.

I'm mostly basing that on this leak: http://www.androidorigin.com/sony-xperia-z4-specs-leak-4gb-ram-z3x-exmor-exclusive/
810, 2560x1440 screen, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage. Not sure on the huge array of sensors but I suppose it will sport most of what the Qualcomm phone does.
Found this little ditty
The first Snapdragon 810 smartphones should make a first appearance during CES 2015, coming from some of the most important manufacturers. To be more specific, the LG G4, HTC One M9 or Samsung Galaxy S6 could use it, the latter being less likely, as Samsung seems to be preferring their home-mad Exynos.

If LG doesnt lock the bootloader again this will be a killer device and i would buy one most definitely.
If they do lock it, another paperweight for many of us
