Like that but GSM for T-Mo?
Blackberry or a slider is about all you'll get on T-Mobile.
Ok - how about even AT&T? It is just nuts that there is no demand for this I feel like. It would help move people from BB.
I believe the Verizon Droid Pro can be unlocked for use on AT&T? I know it has a GSM radio in there somewhere!
My ultimate ideal is the Dell Venue Pro with Android. I'll keep dreaming

I looked into that - the last time I checked using it on AT&T was a no-go. Could have changed since then.
I would absolutely love one of these styles to show up, rocking a largish screen and decent internals with a stock build of Gingerbread.

That GP looks nice. Probably would be a much better choice than a Moto.
The dell venue pro is the best phone you'll get for t-mobile, fortunately for me and unfortunately for you its not running android.

Both Galaxy Pro and Facebook phone are underpowered, tiny/crappy screens. We need a REAL phone in those formats. The one for Sprint is perfect format.
you should wait for motorola pro then, but its probably expensive. http://gsmarena.com/motorola_pro-3781.php

lol its basically same phone (but with bigger internal memory, and bit smaller) than the one in your original post yet its still crappy for you. if you want a better screen just go full touch. otherwise the phone would be too expensive to market, not to mention too large.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed. Will AT&T ever get this device? If not where is the best place to purchase an unlocked GSM version of it? Thank You!
Pretty sure you could buy the AT&T version from Best Buy for ages now.

its not that bad of a question. If you live some place where Best Buy isn't or just ignore that inglorious box of blue stained diaper filler you'd not know that the i9020A was available there.
That said, having gone from a Captivate to a Nexus S myself, you might want to sit on your wallet for a bit and wait for the Galaxy Nexus to finally come to AT&T. I made the leap knowing that the captivate and nexus S are more or less the same hardware only because I knew the Galaxy Nexus was going to be uncomfortably large in my hands.
From an Android standpoint, a captivate with Cyanogen or some other AOSP based ROM will work and act like a Nexus S. Only real reason to move is if you want AOSP without having to work for it
The NS was never available at an AT&T store but only at Best Buy. This is why there is no AT&T branding as it really isn't a AT&T "supported" phone.

Hello
Im looking to get a tablet and iv noticed that the Galaxy Nexus 7 tablet seems to get some pretty good feedback, and the price seems very nice.
I will most likely use the tablet to watch movies, play games, do school work and surf on the nett a bit.
Can someone confirm it is a good tablet for my use?
Thanks =)

Yes, yes, yes. Got one for work demo purposes and love it. Going to get one for personal use as well I reckon.
The voices in my head are telling me to buy one, £200 for a tablet with those specs is a bargain, but my wife is telling me no
So far she's winning, but if it had 3G I'd give my works crappy ipad3 back and get myself a nexus7
Yeah, get one .
Nexus 7 is awesome , meanwhile, you can consider Galaxy Note 10

Don't listen to your wife! Nothing good ever came out of listening to your wife / girlfriend.
Be advised...it is not a GALAXY Nexus 7. Galaxy is a Samsung trademark. The tablet is made by Asus. It is just a Nexus 7.
Unless you can get one of the older tablets for much cheaper, N7 is best deal by far.
It is not called GALAXY Nexus 7

i prefer Galaxy note 10.1
Get the Nexus 7.
Highly recommend the N7
So i kind of fell out of the phone loop after my One X was stolen and had to use my POS Samsung Infuse. My taxes are coming in and i want to get a new phone again. I been debating on the Nexus 4 because the specs look pretty beefy and the reviews have been good, plus i like the ascetic to it. I'm just leery about it since LG doesn't have the greatest track record on phone since the G2x was a HUGE disappointment to me and the HTC G1 and G2 where my favorite all time phones. So in a nutshell, what phone would you suggest and why (also i don't want a note to, i don't like the size of it. 4.7-4.8 is perfectly fine for me.) But thanks in advance.
N4. G2x wasn't a nexus so a lot of stuff wasn't open source. That's why it was a mess. I still miss my g2x tho

It was a decent phone but it was way too buggy even if you flashed a new rom like Weapon. But like in said the reviews look great the only discerning thing is LG's track record and I don't want to wait weeks for it it. Plus I'm not sure if any decent phones are coming out in Q1 or Q2. I'm not going to get the S4 just because of how fast they come out and people jump ship to the new flagship Galaxy S phone.

R: What new phone should i get?
I'm actually thinking of upgrade to an xperia Z. It will be worldwide released soon. It gas awsome specs falso if for some a bit old(the processor) but it is dust proof and waterproof. And last but notte least Sony already released his kernel sources, so there will be really good developing!!!

This phone is very old man! Development is definitely above average. I would suggest a different phone though as it's outdated and you have much better alternatives. Look for moto g or moto g2(if you can wait)
I will buy this phone because is at $100 dollars and Moto G is at $200.
An underrated classic
I have mine rooted, tweaked and overclocked to 1333 mhz. It's Antutu benchmarking at 13611 which is faster than many medium grade phones coming out now. I also picked up the lapdock from eBay for 60 and ever since I've not been relying on my laptop for writing, emailing, watching movies or surfing the Web ever since. As soon as there is compelling reason I imagine I'll try upgrading to kitkat but it's running so smooth fast and solidly now I'm afraid to risk it. Be advised however, the kitkat and jellybeans ROMs break the HDMI function I. E. Lapdock-ability.

You will run into battery issues which is not a happy thing when you buy a new phone. Seriously, even though the hardware is still good, the age of the phone is more than 3 years. It was made for android 2.3... and barely got ICS update officially. There should be better investment for $100.
I finally buy a Moto G in my country (Chile) for $150

Well, Motorola is just playing with us or he is trying to become another Samsung
the Moto Bounce has a 5.43-inch QHD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 810 with 3GB RAM. Other specs include 32 or 64GB storage, a 21MP camera (likely the one from the Style), and a 3760 mAh battery. The phone will also reportedly offer a “shatterproof” design meaning it will have probably a MIL-STD rating.

Nope, they are getting the play and the turbo, it was reported a few weeks ago that the turbo would be higher end specs with an "unbreakable" screen so it has to be this. Too bad verizon locks down their phones. By the looks of the photos it may only have a single front firing speaker
Now It's understandable why the Style only have a 3000mha battery
the droid maxx 2 is the play. the droid turbo 2 is the bounce/force

Yeah, remember they did this last year with the moto x when they released the first turbo. So I don't see it as pulling a "samsung" it's the normal device evolution with Verizon and their exclusivity. Maybe the bounce will have a pure version that people can buy? Either way I think I'll be happy with my X

Doesn't look nearly as good as the Pure though. And, I can't stand the Verizon bloatware they put on their phones. My HTC One M8 had enough of that.
