How to enable USB Debugging without screen? - General Questions and Answers

Hi, I have a Samsung Note 3, and the screen is broken, touch screen does not work either. I'm trying to use Droid @ Screen, but I need USB Debugging Enabled which I currently do not. Is there an exe or a way to enable USB debugging via windows / windows explorer?

Any way to enable USB debugging from computer?

So my display has been completely destroyed. Along with the AMOLED LCD. I cannot access my phone. I want to connect it and project the screen onto my desktop and the only thing holding me back right now is not having USB debugging enabled. I was wondering if anyone knew how to enable it when it is connected to the computer.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, you can't enable USB debugging via ADB, only from the UI (or via an on-device shell). That function is what allows you to use ADB.
Ah. Damn. I've read that as well. I was just hoping for another option. So there is no way to display my phone's screen somewhere?

broken display, stock rom, usb debugging off

So I wanted to make some use of old Galaxy S1 that is not rooted, has broken touch/display and stock ROM, but I'm stuck. I'm able to turn it on/off, turn it in download mode, connect it on pc and transfer files. All I want is to control it with my PC via usb. I found some ways, but every required a usb debugging on on phone, and guess what, i dont have it turned on. So, my question is - Is there any way to turn on usb debugging on my phone(without buying anything, hdmi cable or god knows what)? Or do you maybe know the way to control your phone even with debugging turned off, or rooting your phone without debugging on and putting custom rom which would, hopefully, turn it on?
so it's not possible?

Can't disable usb debugging(greyed out) and developer options

I've enabled usb debugging mode in my Huawei y6 ii for installing apps from pc. But now I was unable to use file transfer when connected to pc. The second problem is I was unable to disable usb debugging mode or developer options. If I turn off developer options it turns on again. The usb debugging mode is greyed out with being turned on. Is there any way to turn it off?

Can't Find PTP in usb settings

So on my Galaxy A8 I have developer options unlocked with USB debugging on and when I plug in USB to my computer it asks me if i want to allow access to phone data. Deny obviously makes it so its only charging but accept and I can access files (all well and good so far). However when I go to Tap for other USB options it has options for Use USB for: Transferring files, USB tethering, MIDI, Transferring images, and charging phone only... however I can't actually change any of these options.... So why can't I change the options, and is Transferring images ptp?

I have this problem too. I can 't choose for other usb options. I haven't enable USB debugging.
Hi, if you enable developer options then you can choose under developer options - default USB configuration - which option you want.

i tried all of those options and none of them work, is there any other ideas?

Can i enable USB debugging if my screen and touch are broken

Hi,
So the screen and touch on my OP6 are broken, and i want to get the data from the phone, but since i haven't got USB debugging turned on and i didn't authorize ADB, i can't do anything with it. I want to connect it to my PC and mirror the screen, and for that i need USB debugging or ADB.
So is there a way to enable USB debugging or to authorize ADB without touching the screen?
I've bought an OTG cable, but the phone won't recognize my mouse or keyboard.
Thanks!
I think there's no way to enable USB debug without go to developer options, only thing to do is to change the display, even temporally to get your data back... Do you have google backup disabled?
You can probably try connecting a USB mouse.
