What case do you have? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note5

I am getting my Note 5 on Tuesday and am looking for suggestions on cases. Right now I have a Spigen neo hybrid on my s6 but I don't like how scratched the back has become. However I don't want to hide the beauty of this phone.
Suggestions?

I'm using a Cruzerlite until my UAG comes in.

I got the incipio dual pro shine, but for you I think a clear tpu is best, all others will scratch. Sgp has that might be called liquid crystal if I remember correctly.

I won't buy a phone with out buying a otterbox defender first

I hate cases, but am using the spigen ultra thin liquid crystal clear tpu case.
Phone still looks good, and very little bulk added.
I will never own or use an Otterbox... Way too bulky for my tastes.

I just got the Obliq clear case with kickstand. Very happy with it thus far. It doesn't add much to the bulk of the phone, seems to offer good protection, is clear and allows the beauty of the phone to show through, retains the curve of the phone, and has a kickstand that functions well. I'd highly recommend it!

Thank you for all your responses. They are all great options. I used to only use otterbox defenders but with phones getting better looking I like to see them. I am leaning towards with the Spigen or obliq now. Unfortunately it won't be delivered till tomorrow and I still haven't ordered a case so I hope I can keep it in good shape till I do.

Just a heads up. I discovered that the Obliq case uses a magnet to keep the kickstand shut and it was causing the spen to not work where it was. I'm trying to find a way to dampen it so I can continue using the case

Thanks for the heads up.

I purchased the Samsung protect case today from T-Mobile. It is by far the most minimal case I have seen...the sides of the phone are completely open. It is not cheap, but I am loving it so far!

I swear by Incipio cases. Using a Incipio Dual Pro Hardshell cases with impact absorbing core. Red color. I've used them for my HTC m7 & M8. Returned both phones in pristine condition.

Any good kickstand cases for S4 ?

I'm looking for something like this :
http://www.amazon.com/Aduro-Holster...67243950&sr=8-10&keywords=galaxy+s4+kickstand
The design of the case is perfect, not very thick, can kickstand portraid/landscape, and even use it as a hook for a firmer grip. But to me it is a very cheap looking / feeling case I want something more premium with the same functionality ?

A little on the pricey side, but they make great cases.
I bought the Seidio Active combo w/ kickstand this morning. I had an Active on my Nexus S for 2 years, very durable case...

The Seidio Surface case with the kickstand arrived today. I was a little worried about how much the kickstand would protrude, but it's only about 2 mm, so I'm glad I got it. I've also used Seidio cases for many years. My last one (S2) is still as good as new and I've had it since the phone was released for Sprint. Aside from the durability, I use multiple batteries and their cases are quick to take on and off.

Best buy's platinum series of cases are near identical to seidio, but about $20 cheaper. There is one with a belt holster and kickstand. I have it on my s4, and am quite pleased.

Ballistic Aspira case

Anyone have this case? I'm deciding between this and the Spigen Slim Armor. This one looks even slimmer, but good (maybe better) protection.

Just ordered mine today from Amazon. 25.00 shipped! Fully confident in ballistic products since I've got one on 3 devices. This will be my first aspira case since I wanna slimmer case but it still has corner protection which is awesome.

Ordered mine a couple days ago the green and black, had this case on my s3 except it wasn't dual layers just had the corner protection which you could change out the corners with different size corner pieces. It was my favorite car, except I'm rocking the ad spigen hybrid and I'm loving this case. Man I love that the s4 it's more square kinda like the s2 was.

Let's talk Otterbox.

I have a pink/grey commuter case from otterbox. I have loved otterbox since my first case years ago. I may be off here but it seems to me they're getting a little shotty quality wise. My rubber seems to turn brown and attract every piece of dirt within a mile of it and now, I have just found, the pink has bled into the white on my phone and stained it. Is this the phone or the case being substandard here? I do love otterbox but I'm thinking its time to move on. What case can I look to for the same protection and reliability? What's the best/worst phone case in your opinion?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
I'm a big fan of the Spigen Slim Armor and Spigen Neo Hybrid cases for this phone. High quality, fits like a GLOVE, not bulky at all, look great, and don't have the big lips like the otterbox that make dragging down the notification panel a hassle. Check out their site but buy from amazon, I think you can get the slim armor on amazon for less than 15 bucks at the moment.
I use an otterbox commuter for my s4 and it doesnt interfere with notifications panel at all.(that happens in the s2 commuter case)
Dunno about other colors but my black is holding up pretty good to daily abuse.

Just got a gift from a friend, Otterbox Commuter for S4, everything looks fine but the cutout for charging below the case seems not so accurate.
After the disaster which is the S3 Otterbox Defender, I have refused to recommend any Otterbox product to anyone. (the silicon would just keep stretching out of shape)
My GF's S3 Commuter fared slightly better with none of the silicone issues but the plastic shell cracked the first time she dropped the phone...
Fast forward to today... we're both using S4s and couldn't be happier with our Ballistic SG Maxxes. Truly a marvelous case which takes impacts and drops like a champ! The design of the S4 version is a little skimpy up top though but so far so [email protected]
I work in construction so I have a Defender on my s4. Holding up great so far. Thinking about picking up another smaller case for weekends.

Spigen Slim Armor
I have been using the Otterbox Commuter cases over the last year and have been really happy with them. However I recently got the Blue Spigen Slim Armor and it is really impressive how it fits, quality of construction, buttons are easy to push, fits perfect and looks are better than anything I have seen thus far. Plus it matches my Grabber Blue Mustang GT. hahaha Really impressed with it.:good: So far it is the best case I have had on any phone in the last 10 years.
I really like my green commuter. It fits well and looks pretty cool. The construction of the case seems very tight; on some past otterboxes, it's seemed a bit "stretchy" and not as formfitting right out of the box, but this one is very nicely done. My only gripe was the charger cutout was too small, but a kitchen knife and some diligence solved that problem rather quickly.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
I had a similar problem with the charging port on my marine/dark blue commuter case. I didn't want to carve up the case, so I just ground the plug down a little with my dremel tool. I figured if I screwed it up I could always get another OEM charger. So far it works fine. I ground down to metal, but a quick check with Galaxy Charging Current shows that my charge values are unaffected. Is this a common problem with the Otterbox Commuter?
My first thought was that I got a fake one, but the box had the hologram sticker on top, website on back, sku sticker on bottom. The silicone lining seems firm and tight with no sagging. Most of the fake vs real videos on youtube stressed the cheap and floppy silicone lining in the fake Otterboxes. Mine seems fairly stiff and fits well.
I was originally eyeing off the commuter cases but after reading the whole screen cracking thread, I went with the defender. This is possibly the best case I've ever had on a smartphone. The plastic inside shell is fairly sturdy which I love because I carry my phone in my pocket all the time and I was worried about having torsion dmg.
P.S: I'm also looking at getting the neon blue spigen slim armor but I'm still not convinced on the sturdiness yet. I so do not want to have to go through samsung warranty for anything. ~_~

You're gonna find dozens of different opinions on this. Everyone has different needs and preferences and few people will have used more than one case.
I've had the Diztronic TPU case. It's not bad. But being a TPU case, it's fairly bulky and I wouldn't call it pretty. I got this one a bit later: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001933/1138601-protective-pc-matte-case-for-lg-nexus-4 Looks and feels better in my opinion and is less bulky. Definitely offers less protection though, but I'm okay with that cause I just like using my phone quite a bit more with this case compared to a TPU one. Doesn't mean you will, though. There is no single best case.
I personally like the S line TPU cases found on ebay, there are only a few bucks and they provide the best overall protection + grip on the sides. Cant complain about 2 bucks.
I'm using this one and love it.

I have used a black S line TPU case from ebay since I first got my Nexus 4 a few months ago. I have dropped it on a couple of hard surfaces over time and it's faired out pretty well and I would recommend them to anyone, also great value for money.
I just got my triple armor hybrid case today and I like it a lot.it feels very comfortable in the hand. The edges aren't deep like the eagle case. Its perfect. Still waiting for my damn mybat tuff case. Its taking forever to get to me. One ended up from Cali to Chicago??? I'm the other way....in Hawaii. The other is just sitting and waiting. Usps is messing up a whole bunch of crap this month. Try the triple armor hybrid its awesome:laugh:
Absolutely love the Ringke Fusion case. It's got a plastic transparent back so you can show off the unique glass back of the Nexus 4 (which is one of the only truly unique and beautiful things about this phone.) also offers a solid amount of protection. Have dropped it a couple times.

I use "Rearth Ringke SLIM White" cover, it's made in solid plastic and it costs 13€ (17.65 $).
For me this cover is one of the best available for nexus 4, there's only one defect it doesn't offer a perfect grip.
Poetic's SLIM case is also pretty awesome, and it leaves the whole screen exposed so you can swipe from the edges (e.g., in Play app). $6 at Amazon...

It gives very good access to the buttons, actually making them easier to press.
Although I have yet to actually test it out with a drop, and hope i never do, but just in case.

LOL there is that, ut I am use to the old motorola nextels. Just doesn't seem that long ago to me.
I have always preferred tpu or hybrid cases, the hybrids for the nexus 4 were lack luster at best, and out of the tpu cases I found the cruzerlite a2 to be the best. I had the driztroic but I found it to be a little to slippery with its matte finish and the buttons were a little hard to find and push.

VENA CASE looks excellent

Purchased the VENA clear case. I was looking for a Ringke fusion type case, I but couldn't find one so I went with this option. This is an excellent alternative. I'm very pleased. Very sturdy, fits perfectly (even with tempered glass screen protector) and it's non slippery, while maintaining a minimalist profile. This is just my personal opinion. I couldn't ask for more.

Im on Amazon, im seeing VskinCl and Retain models, which one did you get?
I just got the incipio octane in the mail yesterday. I guess its originally 25 but someone Herr posted a link with a code that made it 11 total so I grabbed it. People were saying they really liked it, imo its decent but nothing to go crazy about.

I don't really like the bugdroid on this phone. The thickness of the case, coupled with the cutouts for the buttons makes it hard for me to press the buttons sometimes. That's why I ordered the Vena case for this phone.
I'm still liking the VENA, I use it for more rough handling like outdoors or exercising... Most days at the office I prefer the PLESON tpu case, vile which is more flexible and has a slimmer profile

Probably the best TPU case for this phone
I posted a review/overview of the Vena VskinTPU cases on Youtube that I cant link because XDA thinks I'm a new user for some reason. I have had mine since the video was mad and alternating carrying them has kept them from yellowing at all. Just perfect TPU implementations. Not a lot of added bulk, good drop protection, and laser-accurate cutouts. They have been a real surprise.
Search 'Moto X Pure 2015 clear TPU' on Youtube to watch it.
