I have a problem with my Z3
I've been trying it under the water to test it and taking some photos in less than 30 minutes and 1m50 depth but I noticed that the vibrator is not working anymore !
Is it normal ?

Hi guys, my cousing will buy a new phone that have dual sim slot. o recommended the z3 and s5, but i think z3 is better overall. but i want to know if on normal usage of camera it will shutdown, or is just in 4k?
he lives in a very hot city, like 38c at noon, also he work a lot driving the car, is it possoble that the ambient temperature is high, he using high brightness, or gps and try to take a normal picture the camera will shutdown? some time ago i saw a review of xperia z2, and the girl just opened the camera to show the interface and the message appeared and the camera was shutdown, i am worried that maybe this could happen with z3.

some of the problems with 4K recording and overheating was solved in firmware update...
but thr s special condition for u cause u have both bug in software and also weather!
put it on ice after overheating...
My Z3 overheats after taking about 10-15 pics in manual mode. Video recording is ok for about 15 min.
Hi my s6 is 5 days old and it got a fault, sometimes focus refuses to lock annd camera makes loud clicking sound .New phone arrives tomorrow has anybody else had this??
Slow motion video under water (and "problem" with flickering lights in slo-mo)
Took my S7e into the gym, and went into the pool with it. A friend recorded a video of me diving into the water, looks really interesting! Also, so far no water damage from having it with me playing around underwater... :good: The speaker will sound odd for the next 2h or so - but after it is dry again everything works as before!

The flickering is due to the lights flickering at 50Hz, in daylight there is no flickering in slo-mo!
Besides, do your slo-mo shots look the same (flickering at most indoor lamps)?

Only issue I have with slo mo is that the sound is way off. First kick is normal speed and the next is slowed down, youll hear the sound of me hitting the bag like 2 seconds late

the flickering is for neon light because it blinks very very fast that human eyes don't see!!!

I comment that when I switch from the main camera to the front camera it takes approximately 3 seconds which in my opinion is very slow but the worst thing is that when I use face unlock it also takes a long time to recognize my face.
This is happening to someone else or it will be a failure on my device.

That's strange, mine switch cameras in less than one second and face unlock is also fast.

hi there! I've sent an email to you regarding this matter. we are experiencing the same issue
try to see if you have selected 60p with video settings. in both pro and video mode. It gave me problems with the stability of the app camera. even if you have Gcam you have to deselect the 60p. try this

I have the exact same problems and I start to hate this phone!

Same lag in front camera and face recognition.

Same problem for my Poco X3 also. Recently purchased via online. Not only for me but for my friend also experiencing same issue. Face unlock is sometimes very slow, but sometimes its lightning fast. Same case for front camera. No other issues found.

In my hands now OP7 PRO which has been regulary updated and after recent update both cameras stopped working, youtube too !
So, had it downgraded to 9.5.3. and back camera and youtube back again but front camera not (so not even motor poping out)
Tried clean flash with fastboot rom but all the same
Done camera test through *#808# with no success, tried camera motor test, calibration too and no joy.
So before I order any parts just wonder whats the logic behind motorised cameras:
will motor pop out if camera is dead or other way round if motor is dead will that cause software block to launch camera (when you want to switch from back to front camera you getting nothing). ! Ready to order camera or motor but not sure whats actually gone !
Any experience, opinions about this Oneplus issue that seems affect many

Done few tests so far, prove that motor/actuator is working and it must be the camera. Orderd camera yesterday and with a luck should get it in 30 days.
Funny thing about it that once I had Oneplus 5 with exact same issue, ordered new back camera, installed it and all back working than was curious and returned old one and the old one back working too
Conclusion ? No explanation by now.
Update: new camera arrived, installed and all back working !!
