How to find model
Wanted to try an inexpensive Chinese device and bought a Huawei Ascend Mate Pro 7+. It arrived yesterday and I'm curious what I can do with it.
I can't seem to located what model it is. It is a GSM device and has the following on the back, nothing which points to a model such as MT1-U06 or MT1####...
Any ideas?

Are you sure that it is a genuine Huawei device? There's no such thing as Pro 7+.

Wow, it may be a knockoff of a knockoff? Go figure!!!
Can you make some pictures of the phone and upload it here.? And some printscreens would be nice.

I've had my Mate 9 since January 17 and generally no problems (apart from the one I'm about to describe).
I can't seem to get access to to the screen that shows which carriers are available. I can press the the appropriate link 'mobile networks' (see screen shot) but nothing happens apart from the carrier name flashing briefly at the top of the screen.
This is the second time this has happened in the past few months. The first time, the only way I solved it was by hard resetting the phone. I don't really want to have to do that unless I have to.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I might try?
Cheers

Have you updated since January?
Yes I have. All latest updates as available for UK spec phone.

Actually, I think I solved my own problem! The latest b190 firmware after installing, gave me access to the the carrier screen. Not sure whether b190 actually fixed the glitch, or whether the process of upgrading the OS has temporarily fixed the problem? We'll see! ☺

This is a feature of Honor 9 that only Chinese version has. You can test the hardware of Honor 9 on your own. This feature is very helpful when you are repairing some parts of your device.

is there different models for different regions?
Does the Honor 9 for every region has multi-touch support?

I figured that was true. So the multi-touch feature isn't actually new at all.

Good evening to all, and first I apologize in advance for English!
My name is Andrea and I'm in Italy, in central Italy, in the province of Modena!
I want to congratulate everyone in the Forum, Fantastic Forum and with a lot of information!
Now I come to my problem:
I have a Huawei P20 PRO which I will try to give the most information, so make it easier to work who will want to help me!
Originally was brand WIND and if I remember correctly was version 8.1.0.130 (C187), after using rebrand I brought it to version 8.1.0.161 (C432), until here all right, but still not happy I downloaded from firmware finder version CLT-L09 9.0.0.163 (C432E5R1P9) and I installed it successfully and here everything is OK and all working!
From here on come the problems:
I tried to go back to version 8.1.0.161 (C432), but after installing the phone no longer restarted!
Now recovery mode and Erecovery mode no longer work!
According to you you can do something to revive him, or I created a firm card from 500 euros!
I have also deprived with the dload system, but with negative result!
Coming soon if I can, I also add photos of the screens of the device!
Thanks in advance to all those who want to try to help!

Does not exist in this phone. That is just an general form because most Xiaomi phones are China ROM base. Poco X3 Pro is one of the exception.
If you have doubt, tell them to provide it.

I know for sure that it was not issued in China and the first picture shows this, but the miui pro website claims to offer it, but for money

That is just a scam.
THEY claimed it, so tell THEM to prove it valid.

Considering the number of sold units, it's nothing. Also, most of the bricks are from users tinkering with their roms without any knowledge of the matter on hand.
I would prefer they take up rock collecting instead of flashing highly complex pieces of consumer electronics.

If you have a way to make use of the guarantee, make use of it, otherwise you would have to find a microsoldering workshop to do a "rework" to the SoC (RAM memory + CPU + ROM memory)
My phone also happen to be like this. But it is not dead.If this happen,it just will restart my phone
