Well, facing another problem.
I wanted to perform factory reset, so i reflashed stock recovery.
Flash was "probably" fine, no error in Windows.
I reboot device.
Then i power off to reboot to recovery with power & Vol up
And now, i'm stuck on a black screen, nothing appears, no recovery.
I try to switch off, long press power, working, but every time i try to power on now, black screen.
Help...
Hello,
Boot in recovery and wait 5/6 minutes in black screen.
I Have the same problem and after 6 min the recovery is ready. After you can reboot your phone With recovery's menu.
Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks
Finally, my phone booted in stock recovery, after 5 minutes, as you said
PS : Je suis Français, donc la prochaine fois, si j'ai besoin d'aide, je t'enverrai un mp. Merci :good:
I think it's rare that a phone can truly be bricked these days.

Doesn't sound like you bricked since it trying to boot recovery image...What happens when you press and hold the Power and Vol Down buttons? Will it reboot?

no restart is in "booting recovery kernel image" and does nothing more
It's a bit hard to understand what you're saying, can you possibly translate a bit better? I'm not quite sure what you pressed...

Dear Benni;
I have tried to position recovery mode and all the procedures I have done, but still have not succeeded.
still come out blinking "GEAR SAMSUNG S2"
What should I do ?
best regards
gdarwanto
Hi, if this is not working, you can just send back your watch or contact Samsung
I have a similar / same problem. I think I will need to get it to a service point.
While it performed a firmware update the HR-app did checked my heartrate and I guess this stopped the firmware update.
What now happens is: vibrate-samsung logo-screen off-repeat
When I use these steps:
-switch off device*
-press and hold Power button, till you get the Samsung Gear Rebooting.. Screen.*
-press power button several times very short
-the bootloader menue should open
-select recovery by pressing the power button.*
-apply selection by pressing and holding the power button*
The option recovery is not available, only continue download and Power off.
I guess there is no software left to recover.
Do you know if there is anything I can do myself now?
(There is no wireless download option also, only normal download)
With thanks and greetings wishing everyone a nice day
This just happened to me when installing the latest S2 update. Did you find any solution?

I have a big problem with my galaxy S8 plus, at the beginning I had a problem with the bootload after having made the last update, my phone reboot constantly (bootloops), then I flashed it with Odin, and I get another problem, after the flash the systems update stops at 32% ===== erasing then it restarts again, I even tried the PIT flash method it does not work

S8+ has at least two major variants,
Qualcomm and Exynos.
Might be helpful if you can advise of your model number and also which version of Odin and which Samsung firmware you're trying to flash

When Odin is done flashing a firmware on the S8 or S8+, it will always boot the phone into recovery, install the update to 32%, say "Erasing", then reboot like normal. After that, it should boot straight into Android. If you are having problems with it not booting into Android, it sounds like there is a bigger problem.
man i think ur battery is discharged charge it overnight after flashing....will work surely
try to boot into recovery and wipe there then turn off then download mode, flash again and see what happened, if still happens force power off then turn on and see if still goes into bootloop
Sorry for bumping but did you found a fix? I'm having the same issue.
Whoops, I was impacient. A wipe fixed this.
Hello, the same thing happened to me and I solved it this way:
Flash firmware with odin when restarting will get stuck in 32% and error will go out, enter the native recovery and make wipe data factory reset and then restart the phone. When you turn it on again, the screen may freeze, you just have to force the restart. That worked for me, I hope it works for them.

I have the same issue. Flashed firmware with ODIN. Rebooted phone got to 32% update then erasing then just stuck on the samsung logo. Pressed volume up and home cannot get into recovery mode to factory reset or wipe cache. Rebooted again with volume down and power of and home button. Now the blue light is on and the go back and two boxes buttons on. Any can resolve? cheers

Thanks to alfredobalan for the hint.
This is how i resolved it for my Samsung Note8.
Connect phone to charger.
Now press and hold volume down, bixby and power button at same time.
Release after u see a blank screen.
Now phone will start displaying charging percent circle.
Now u can remove the phone from charger.
Now press volume up, bixby and power button at same time.
Phone will reboot, leave power button but keep holding other 2 buttons.
After you see android/system update installing screen, leave these 2 buttons
Wait for few seconds and phone will show no update and then will show recovery menu.
with volume keys go to "wipe cache" and press power key.
after that select "wipe data/reset" and press power key.
after that select reboot phone and press power key
now phone will go to Samsung logo screen and you may think that it is again stuck in bootloop
But no, wait for some time->for me it was less than 4-5 min
and you will see the installing apps and other messages on screen

The only way what solved the problem for me: Start ODIN as system administrator. I still received the system update and erase screens, but after a half minute the tablet started normally ith "optimizing apps" screen. Hope it will help anybody if nothing above.

I have the same issue:
OEM unlocked, USB- debug allowed, but didn't get into it.
Power on + Vol up, Power on + Vol down, Power on + Vol up and down...:
No chance to get into fastboot or recovery.
Did Samsung closed this door in some way?

Hi I lost the password despite that the oem is active
This is the solution that worked for me when I could not go to recocery ... as simple as a factory reset from the settings, after that try to enter the recovery with the buttons on the phone. A greeting
(I do not know English but I wanted to help)
fixed

I saw a way to root an A30s, but when i did the procedure with odin in android 11, i got an error in download mode after odin finished, error Error Verifying VBMeta Image OK_NOT_SIGNED(3) and i saw a solution that was install the twrp to fix that, the set up in odin was sucessfull but after that my phone when i rebooted it show me the logo and the letters or headers of android and 5 seconds later all that goes green and the screen goes black, but i can access the internal storage, but is blanket, what should i do to fix my phone. Please help.........
I tried to make root my a30s and after i used odin i got this error with the patched firmware: Verifying VBMeta Image OK_NOT_SIGNED(3), and i saw a video with a solution that was installing twrp but that process destroy the android boot like i am showing in this video:
After the black screen the phone appears in windows, and you can see the internat storage and sd card but i dont know if there is a solution for this problem.
If somebody knows how to fix this, it will be awesome. Thanks for the attention.
you have to install twrp on your phone with Android 10, cause with android 11 doesnt work
Im stuck in that problem. I flashed twrp and after it my A30s only turn on if I press volume down + power, and then show the logo and got a black screen. In my computer open the internal storage. I cant acess recovery mode and download mode, I dont know what to do and idk if the a30s has bricked
Exactly the same happened to me and I can't access recovery nor download mode, same model aswell. It's probably bricked but we can still turn it on and the pc reads the storage even tho is encrypted or corrupted. I'll see if I can find any solution and I'll tell you. We f*cked up big time....
If you have the same problem get to work and let's try to fix it lol

I JUST F**CKING FIXED IT LIKE WHAT IN THE ACTUAL JESUS FRICKING CHRIST F**CK HAHAHHAHA LIKE I JUST SAID TO MYSELF "oh.... would that actually work?" GUESS WHAT IT WORKED FIRST TRY LMFAOOO
I guess you want to know how to unbrick it lol, here's how + ur welcome
Press down vol- + power until it powers on and keep on holding down, as you can see it keeps on rebooting as long as u keep on pressing down the buttons, now we have to get in download mode, its kinda tricky tho -
First put the usb into the charger BUT not completely, halfway. Now press vol- + power and hold until it restarts AND as soon as the screen goes black
1- completely connect the USB
2- release the power button (dont release the vol - button) and at the same time press the vol+ button
Thats it, u should've booted into download mode - if it didnt work and the screen went green and crashed, keep on trying and do it as quickly as you can. If you cant pull it off, ask me. at least your phone isn't bricked, it's only tricky to fix it.
Once you're in dowload mode, use EFTSU flash tool and flash it with your firmware version (you can find it in etsu . com)
and this time around be careful trynna twrp flash, me too ofc, i wont even do it anymore, i was just messing around lol
