I'm using last official one, sometimes with the goggle camera i've problems like wrong direction of the photos (if i stay up and i photo my feets for example, the saved photo will be in a different way like up-down) maybe a sensor problem?

Does it work for you on the N5? I use it to, and it doesn't work on my N5.
Odd, seems to work fine for me. Had no contact images before installing. And all contacts after syncing.
Have you signed into Facebook with it and run a full sync?

cheers, worked perfectly did you guys tick the birthday option?
also what size do you set the pictures, they don't look so sharp with max supported selected (default)
I have used HaxSync on my Galaxy Nexus for a while and it works flawlessly. Have yet to get my N5 to test it on that...
hey guys, so I RMA'd my first Nexus 5 and just received the replacement. This one is a 311k (not sure if it matters, just mentioning it because there were at least one thread about it). So I noticed that this new phone actually didn't have the standalone photo app that my first nexus 5 had. It's actually replaced my G+ Photos. Not sure if anyone else noticed that. Personally I don't really use G+ so I preferred the photos app. I actually liked the editing features a little more than the stock gallery app. Anyway, what do you guys think about this?
When you say Photos do you mean Gallery? Because the app is called gallery on Nexus devices.

You need to update Google plus because they're integrated together. If you disabled Google plus enable it because the photos app cones with Google plus. I figured this out when I disabled mine and the app disappeared but when I enabled it the photos app cane back with it.

I meant the photos app. But the previous post figured it out haha. Thanks a lot. The G+ photos app changes to Photos when you update it.

Yes. And now that they have moved the gallery apk out of the camera apk, I think the Google+ Photos app will be the exclusive app at some point in the future. The gallery app is still using the picasa api (which is being killed off) and we have not seen hardly any changes to it in over a year. My guess is it will be retired in the next major update early next year.
My wife's S4 mini has a great function: camera shooting with voice command.
I'm jealous and want something same for my Nexus's camera. There are any options? Tried 3rd party apps from play store but the stock camera seems to be better (if not including LG camera port in development forum).
Would be great to shoot photos without touch anything (at least in camera app itself).

Don't be jealous. Your phone is better in every other way.
Hi guys,
I noticed that when I take pictures with google camera App, they are Dithered!
Compared to my Stock Camera App and compared to Focal camera App it's very noticeable!
I like google's camera, but it's a shame if this problem exist in other devices too...
So I've got Galaxy S4 (i9500) and I'm running WanamLite V4 - 4.4.2, but I just want to check with you guys if
this problem exist on your devices too...
This is how it looks on my camera apps
look at the sky, can you see the Dithering in colors?
Please let me know if you have this problem too...
Cheers
:fingers-crossed:
That would be up to Google to fix, I personally would stick with the Samsung camera, the image looks allot better.

Thanks, as for now, I'm back to Samsung camera...
Pity, I like google's minimalistic UI... and Lens blur is cool too...
Thanks!
It is, it makes a huge difference on the Nexus 5 but in upcoming updates just try and see if the image has the same problem.

Coming from using HTC branded phones exclusively since Android came out, I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the Google Camera app. Yes, it takes great photos quickly and easily, and Auto HDR+ is great. However, there isn't much control. So, I'm looking for a powerful replacement app. Ideally one that could utilize HDR+.
What are your favourite third-party camera apps, and why?
My Camera Zoom app is wonderful!
