I have:
My mom's NuVision TM800A510L (similar to Acer Iconia A1-840) stuck in boot loop.
I can get it into fastboot mode, and recovery mode waiting for ADB sideload.
ADB and fastboot recognize the connected device, but commands are ignored by the tablet.
I'm a novice, having once stumbled through a cyanogenmod flash.
Working from a chromebook running Ubuntu, with Android SDK seemingly properly installed.
Goal:
To restore the factory OS, vanilla Android, or an alternate ROM. Anything to get it running.
I've tried:
Wiping cache, factory reset.
Can't find factory or custom rom anywhere. Customer service refused to provide it.
Following tutorials to bake a custom rom. They all seem to require a system for the tablet to start from.
Pulling partitions from tablet (failed command)
Pushing / flashing / SD boot of ROM for the Acer version of the tablet (format not recognized)
Does anyone happen to have the update.zip for this Nuvision device I can simply sideload? Or anything else I can try?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately I can't find anything specific to your device on XDA. I would try asking your question here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help Hopefully someone familiar with your device will be able to help.

Hi guys, I usually solve issues by myself buy I need some help with this one.
I bought my son this device, we rooted it together and changed very lightly the UI ogg's , there was no problem keep using it .
Then we thought why not to change the boot animation, so we downloaded this app from google play called .... "boot animation", and now we can't make it boot at all (WE SEE THE NEW ANIMATION ON THE SCREEN, not rebooting).
tried:
1. hard reset and wipe/factory settings... nothing!
2. no ROMS available ,I found 2 roms but the first one claims that it should work through CMD (the computer can't identify the device), the other one causes "verificaiton problem" when trying to install from SD.
3. sent email to HISENSE , hope to hear from them
I need PLEASE any information from someone who knows how to handle this problem, I think that the only way to solve it is to install a new CWM or ROM from SD , offcourse that id it was samsung device it was much easier.
thank you very much
Lior
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. The best way to tackle this is by reflashing the stock firmware or ROM. All you probably need to do is have the correct drivers installed on your PC in order for it to communicate with your phone. Take a look at this thread:
[TOOL] [WINDOWS] ADB, Fastboot and Drivers - 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.2
If you still can't get it to work I'd suggest you ask your question here:

hello!
i have a asus fonepad 7 with android 4.4.2. Recently i got an android 5.0 update notification and i downloaded it and pressed install. As soon as installing began after reboot, it showed error and after that rebooted again and showed installing again. Now the phone only shows installing, then shows error, reboots again and same process continues. So i went into the recovery and tried to repair by ADB but ended up in deleting the recovery. Now i have a tablet which is bricked, continuously restarts to installing and shows error and has no recovery option at all. I want help in the issue, I wanna know if there is a possibility that i can repair it myself because it is out of warranty.
Thanks!!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Well, the good news is it is not bricked if it turns on. You need to flash the stock firmware. The bad news is there is very little information on XDA about your device. See if anyone here knows where to find a flag the stock firmware. http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help or here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/asus-fonepad-7-fe170cg-firmware-please-t2835097

I have a serious problem: my daughter start an update on the rooted tablet (FE170CG). Ofcourse, the tablet stuck. Well, I didn't panic. I've downloaded firmware from ASUS website, and start to flash it with fastboot. But nothing worked. Tried several firmwares, also from producer site, still nothing. After lots of desperate tryies I managed to flash something, but instead of k012 I discovered it waS a k017 image. After that I couldn't use nothing. The Droidboot starts, or in normal boot it loads the ASUS logo ant then stucks there. Can I test the consistency of partitions somehow, or the consistency of the data inside those partitions? Is it possible to be something erased in one of those partitions? Can anybody point me to how to get a diagnose to be able to guess what's crushed?
I can only use the fastboot. Nothing else worked. I couldn't use ADB, for instance, in windows. Also, in Linux I cannot connect the tablet. It shows in lsusb list, but thats all. Don't shows in blkid devices (mounted or not).. How can I solve this very tricky situation?

Hi everyone,
Hope I'm not breaking the rules but I'm desperate. I've Struggled to unlock my phone's bootloader and now I'm trying to change the bootloader. This is my first Android device and my first attempt to install Cyanogen. As I said I'm stuck with adb commands, I googled for hours and I didn't find a clear guide until I installed SDK from Google I managed to use them on my pc, the problem is that it can't detect my device. When I prompt adb devices it doesn't show anything, help please :crying::crying:
PS
The guide I'm following is this one
EDIT:
I managed to enter fastboot but when I try to install TWRP it says "target reported max download size", I tried also to fastboot erase cache but it gives me error. Help!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and here is no forum specifically for the Huawei G620S at this time but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. First, though, consider simply posting in the thread where you found the guide that you are attempting to follow.
Good luck!
Hey guys, as the title says, i've got a tablet DragonTouch R10 that doesn't go beyond the "dragon touch" screen. It wasnt rooted and it didnt have a custom or custom recovery. It just kind of stopped booting one day. It can go into stock recovery. Also, through ADB command i'm able to "reboot into bootloader" mode but my pc doesn't recognize it, it doesn't recognize fastboot either. the normal adb commands like "reboot recovery" work fine though. Already tried factory reset from the stock recovery too. Is there anyway i can reinstall the stock firmware from there? By the way, i also haven't been able to find it. I did find a .img file, don't know if it helps.
Hi there and welcome to assist,
Unfortunately there is nothing about your question/device on XDA forum. Try a Google search first or contact the manufacturer for stock firmware and flashing instructions.
You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums if you have any other questions.
Good luck
