So, I picked up my Edge+ from BestBuy yesterday and along with it, I got one Samsung Wireless Charger (the old generation). I unpacked it, connected the cable to the dish shaped charger and put my phone on top of it and voila! It starts charging. But wait, withing minutes, the charging stops and the blue light of the dish charger starts blinking. Disconnected, reconnected, few minutes passed and again it starts blinking (only when phone is on top). Now, I've used all original accessories, I do not have any cases/covers put on. I can't understand why won't it charge. When I googled, I saw similar issues with blinking blue light but nobody had solution.
Here, look at this video I created : https://youtu.be/SfiGk6C3Yso
So, did any of you encounter this yet ?
I bought actually my charger from best buy and both my edge+ and my wife's did the same thing so I took the chargers back. I bought a stand up one a little more expensive but been using it since Wednesday with no issues!
Same issue...the phone displays "Wireless Charging Paused" and the charger light keeps flashing

I got it replaced from BestBuy but the new charger isn't different either. I've reported it to Samsung, lets see what reason they come up with..
Same thing Happened to me. I went to sleep and woke up to a dead phone.
Thanks Samsung. I'm glad I wasn't relying on my alarms on Saturday!

Funny... but tragic!
I am using the TYLT charger, takes about 45 mins to charge 20%, so i assume its going to take about 5 hrs to charge 0 to 100.
Its beside my bed side, and its at about 45% each night before i go to sleep, midnight i wake up around 2.30'is or 3.30'is, and notice that my phone is already 100% charged.
Cant wait for the new 2.1Amp charger to arrive. i am gonna keep that at work, cos thats when the phone is in and out of the charging pad each time i go for meetings or coffee breaks, i guess i'll never be below 80%
I might have figured it out
This will sound insane but mine was not working correctly either. One thing I did was I turned the power cord that came with the wireless charger in the opposite direction of the outlet, in comparison to how I had it originally. I believe this now means that the USB cord is facing to the right of the power adapter. I know it sounds crazy, but mine worked perfect since then. And another thing I've done is I make sure mine is aligned with the camera in the back in such a way that sliding the phone down the pad and when I feel it hit the camera bump I know that I have it in place. I hope this helps someone. I would say I am very tech savvy but this is one of the most odd things I've seen, if it's truly why mine started working.
I have had no issues charging with my $10 eBay wireless chargers, I have 3 different ones and all have work. I did notice that I have to use a fast charge power supply.

I'm not really sure what you meant by saying you turned the power cord in opposite direction o the outlet ? Is it like you plugged in your charger in the reverse way to the wall socket ? Care to explain ? Or may be an images speaks a thousand words... ?
Will post pics when home
Yes I think you understand what I'm saying, a wall outlet charger can only go in two ways, or sometimes because of the prongs on the power device you can't reverse it, but on this when you can, and)) I had mine where the USB cable was facing to the left I believe and the charger was working intermittently. Now I have the USB cable facing to the right which us the reverse way of plugging in the wall charger and it works.
---------- Post added at 12:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:26 PM ----------
This is how it should look in your outlet. Hope it helps. Would be great if someone can also confirm if it fixed their problem.

I have a wireless charger on my desk but I rarely use it. Constant charge, discharge won't be good for the battery in the long run. I've had my Note 4 for 1 year and I can feel like the battery is degraded. I'm very careful when it comes to charging. Will be extra careful with this S6e+'s battery.

Agree that is a good point with non-removable batteries. But i never had any issue with my batteries with Note 3 where i had attahed a QI reciever and used to charge it wirelessly, and infact prior to this with the Iphone i used to have to dock almost 20 hrs daily.

I have the Samsung wireless charging pad that stops charging after some time. Maybe at like 50% . To fix this I have to remove the phone from the pad and place it on again. I'll probably keep the pad in my living room and buy another usb charger for overnight charging so the battery won't degrade

the only thing i dont get with wireless charging is, why does the phone get very hot while its charging. When the phone reaches 100%, the phone is back to normal temps.
I have to use the ccleaner's cool the cpu feature, which shows that android system is over heating.
I wonder wirless charging doesnt cause spark's or power leakage causing the phone to heat up.

Wireless charger use induction for charging which heats up the coil inside the phone on back side. This is usual as long as its not very hot. This is the primary reason for battery degradation too. If the battery is in touch with the coil, the heat from the coil affects the battery adversely.
I spent 3 days with my new edge plus and the wireless charger blinking blue. Finally I called Samsung tech support and a supervisor informed me that the plus is not backwards compatible with the old charger. The plus needs the new charger which has not been released yet.

Good to know. I've spent a couple of hours on the phone and returned 2 Samsung wireless chargers and they (Sprint) won't admit that they dont work with the Edge+.
That's weird. If it's Qi charger, it should be compatible.

Efficient output is just 500-700mA? Too small to charge N4?
I thought the standard one is around 1A or over.
Thanks.
500-700 mA is perfectly ok for charging. When you charge from a computer via USB, the max current is 500 mA unless you use kernel tweaks.

It's got to depend on the output (mA) the USB power adaptor has to offer too. They even show it connected to a laptop USB port. So I think it WILL charge, but maybe significantly slower than a direct power connection.
By using a lower output USB power supply, sounds like you might be able to trade charge speed with temperature rise. If so it may be ideal as a charger to keep your phone topped up. Kind of like a low power trickle charger, which would be fine if my phone is on it most of the day... I actually don't like the idea of Qi chargers that make the phone get hot - seems to be trading convenience and wear on the phone's USB connector with reduced battery service life as it keeps going through nasty heat cycles?
Decided to risk it and order one

I agree, Used in a car with GPS on, maybe pulling 3G data for maps, bright screen, etc., it's likely that despite this charger, the phone will slowly go flat. And get hot doing so... All that energy from the battery/charger has to go somewhere - mainly heat once the battery is charged. If the phone's consuming, say 750mA at around 4.1v battery voltage, that's around 3W of heat to dissipate.
I am investing time looking for a Qi charger but that problem appears to be present on several cheap alternatives, the current they supply is not enough, or you might expend a couple of extra hours charging your phone
Just a quick update, ordered from fast tech on Jan 29th and received shipping notification today (Jan. 31st), registered airmail with tracking from Hong Kong post.

I do have this wireless charger. Ordered from aliexpress, it's always the same with different branding and logos.
It does the job, charging.
But:
Need to be very precise when positioning it
Back glass make the phone sliding, and cancel all the effort offered in the above point, making the phone not charging
I recommend to wait for a charger with more than only one wireless charging chip/antenna.
Ok I have this charger now. On first charge and working ok so far... Seems to be best in this position. Has now cut off an an indicated 99%...

Lining up the edge of the charger with where the bottom of the LCD is, seems reliable. Using an XtremeGuard style protector on the back, which gives enough friction to stop sliding if the charger is horizontal and the phone vibrates.
Above is FastTech image. I'm using stock N7 charger and cable at the moment because it was handy. Unit came with a USB charger and cable (with EU plug - I'm UK based)
----
Picked up phone and used it to 98%. Returned to charger and it charged back to 99%, but didn't beep this time when charging started. Maybe it needs to be more discharged before this happens....

Now at 100%. Charger seems to poll the Nexus about every 30 secs (solid blue light for a few secs) to see if it needs charging. Then light goes off. When it charges, the blue light flashes slowly but continuously.

For some reason they are cheaper even though they come in black or white and have the Qi logo/writing on it.

They are reported to work. I wanted the flexibility of being able to use alternate sources of power (car, pc, wall adaptor). have yet to try limited power available from a PC's USB port...
So, a couple of days ago, I accidentaly let my dock drain fully out. It was 2 days on 0%, as I didn't use my TF101 much because I am on vacation. All of a sudden, the wouldn't charge at all. I connected the charget to my docked TF101 and it charged only a little, about 3% in an hour, but the dock didnt charge at all. After that the dock charged to about 40%, not charging the tablet itself. Then the dock began to drain and ended up on 10%, still not charging the tablet.
I used my tablet for a bit of reading, without the dock and it got to about 6%.
I plugged them both to charge, but nothing.
Now they both dont charge and the dock doesnt light up red on the LED.
In the meanwhile the tablet drained completely, so I left only it on the charger. At first it wouldnt turn on at all, but after 10 mins, a big red battery icon appeared. After that it turned on and booted to android, but it says "Connect your charger" and it show 0% battery capacity but with a charging icon.
I am using TEAM EOS NIGHTLY 117 (Android 4.2.2)
The dock lights up red only when the tablet is plugged in. Sometimes it blinks red while it is charging, sometimes it only blinks 3-4 times while im pressing the power button.
I tried freezing the battery brick - but no luck.
I tried cold booting to - alas, no luck too.
Help please!
Give a run through this. I am thinking that plugging it into a USB port for a few hours (tablet only) should at least get the tablet working again. As for the dock, there is a switch that can change state when it gets to zero and wont allow it to recharge until you open the dock and flip the switch. It should still allow the tablet to charge when docked.
Thanks. I saw your thread on that forum already.
Only thing I did not try is to let it charge over USB.
Cant bend the pins because I have a EU charger.
Is there any guide for opening the dock and finding the switch?
Just because you have the EU charger, the plug STILL comes off so you could try bending the pins.
Hmmm, I did not write a guide for the dock, but it is pretty simple.
First, remove an SD if present. If you don't you could lose the spring that holds the SD in and it is a pain to replace.
The back two rubber feet have small philips screws (#00 I believe). Remove these, then pick one of the back corners (I like the one with the USB port close to it) and start prying it apart with a rubber spudger, guitar pick or fingernail. Once I get it open to the hinge, work your way around the front and to the other side. Be careful around the charging port and the SD card as the metal is thin and bends easily. It can be bent back easily too, but just be careful.
Found the disconnect switch, it is on the board with the USB and Power Plug (on the left):

Here is a detailed teardown where that photo came from: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Disassemble-the-ASUS-Transformer-TF101-Keyb/
So I left it to charge on my laptops USB overnight (10hours).
When I plugged it in, it was turned on with 0%, now it has 14% and still says "connect your charger" with the charging icon when I connect it to the wall output.
I let my dock run to 0% not that long ago too, and same with me, the dock refused to charge even leaving it plugged in overnight
I decided to open it and flip that little switch, connected the charger for about 30 mins with the switch flipped, still showed 0% and no signs of charging
Flipped it back to its original position and left it charging for another few hours and it suddenly stopped flashing orange and became a solid orange
Waited an hour or two and connected the tablet to see the dock % and it was finally charging again, and works fine still today
Not sure if flipping that switch did anything or not, maybe it just needs time and persuasion by continuous 1 hour charges and then disconnecting the charger for a while, but it did eventually sort itself out

I don't have to wait like some people mention though. If I plug it in it immediately powers on and when I unplug immediately powers off.
Should I look into buying new charger maybe?

Sounds like the charger is fine if it's powering on when you plug it in, sounds like the batteries have over-discharged
Other than the switch inside the dock trick above, just leaving it powered off and charging for a long time to try to coax the batteries back to life might work
Yesterday the missus was playing on the TF for hours and hours, when I looked at the battery levels, it said dock 4% and TF 44%, cool no problem, the dock actually stopped discharging at a decent level, so I left her playing
When I plugged it in, dock was at 4% still and it began charging
I rebooted, and to my horror, the dock said 0% and refused to charge again, even on its own
I shut the TF off for the night with my fingers crossed and this morning it is 99% 99% on both batteries
I was thinking about what I would try this time if it refused to charge again, heating the battery up slightly was on the list, remembering that old trick in the tape deck walkman days to get a few minutes extra life out of the batteries by heating them
And directly charging the batteries + to + and - to - for a few minutes to a low powered DC supply to try and jump start their charging process before plugging it back into the normal charger via the dock and tablet
The latter would have to be done carefully and preferably outside on an extension as these type batteries can do some nasty things if they are over charged, ie. explode / fireball
Personally I would leave it on the charger powered off for a day or two and see how it gets on, if that fails try trickle charging it from PC USB while TF is powered off too

I've had the tablet open about 3 times, and the dock once, and in my case the tablet was a lot easier to open than the dock
Here is a video on how to get the tablet open
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-6dKsGJ4VY
The bezel on the dock seemed much more tightly clipped together, where the tablet, once you remove the screw holding the plastic bezel in place, it fairly easily clips off around the edges, then its just a few more screws under the bezel around the edges and it just lifts apart easily

There are probably English teardown videos too, but this one is great quality and shows exactly where each screw is etc
Good luck, a nice big clear table and some pots for the screws, take your time and just keep replaying the video if you get stuck on anything
It's about a 3/10 for difficulty for the tablet, the hardest part is just being gentle when you pry the bezel off
Here is a tutorial (in English) on how to get the bezel off that I personally did: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo.../10501-rs-guide-power-lock-button-issues.html
That is the hardest part IMO. After that, there are ten #0 or #00 Philips screws holding the back cover on. There is one in each corner then 3 on top and 3 on bottom when looking between the screen and the back plate.

Try the freezer trick
Put the charger into a sealed zip bag and put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes
Might reset the thermal fuse if that is the problem

I also have a TF101 - about 2 years old.
It cannot charge anymore.
I tried to turn it off and charge off the PC.
I tried replacing the usb cable for the charger.
I tried replacing the charger with a new 15v wall charger from China, twice (2 different models)
I tried factory reset
I tried cold reboot
I tried replacing the battery with a new one.
After all of these things - it still doesn not charge when connected to a charger. It shows the white "low battery" icon when I put in the cable, but the battery charge never goes up.
The new battery has about 40% charge, but it will die soon, if I don't get a solution.
Okay guys, I ran in to this . It's k51 Qi Charger from Dx.com and it's on sale. It costs only $11.5 (was $20) and for that price I decided to order it. There's also a black version available: http://deals.dx.com/team.php?id=4701
Okay I just received mine. It is very very light and feels kinda cheap (well duh, what can you expect for 8,5 euros? ). It looks pretty good, I'm not sure if I like the leds on it. They aren't too bright or anything but they just don't fit with the white theme. It also makes this little sound when it starts charging. This may be con for someone, but it doesn't bother me.
First thing i noticed that the batterly level didn't rise up even though phone was on the charger for a half and hour. I tried the cable with the original charger and the charging status (in *#*#info#*#* -thingy) kept flashing between USB, AC and Unplugged. So the cable is faulty. I tried the original cable and everything was fine.
The charging area (or the "sweet spot" as Zenety called it) is decent. I don't know if theres a difference between the white and black one, but in mine you don't have to put it precisely in the middle of the charger for it to work. The green charging light doesn't always light up but phone is still charging.
The charging works pretty good when without case and also with Headcase, but when using Ringke Hybrid you need to put the phone precisely on the "sweet spot" for it to work. With leatherpouch it didn't work at all. Surface is very slippery and your phone can move around quite easily. I'm gonna find out if there anything to do with that.
Can anyone recommend app that allows me to see charging current? I could compare it to original LG wallcharger?

Just bought one for me and one for my father. If this thing sucks, it's your fault, twice!
Jokes apart, thanks!
Forgive me, but I never quite got the point of using a wireless charger. Besides the novelty of not having to connect a cable, don't the disadvantages outweigh the benefits? I mean, for one, you can't pick up the device while it's charging. And it also charges slower than on an AC wall charger.

I like the idea that the charging will stop when the battery gets full and so it's perfect to use at night. I don't know for sure, but I think that keeping the phone plugged do the AC wall charger isn't good for the battery's lifespan.

Wall charger will also stop charging when full (as the battery is li-po), but maintains a trickle charge overnight, which should have little or no effect on battery lifespan.
i had one like this, the magnet wasnt very strong, i could get it to connect but sometimes it would stop so i couldnt rely on it.
the light changed colour once connected.
it was a hassle trying to get it to charge, i thought i could just slap the phone on it and it would detect but i guess due to the large surface area the phone needs to be in the dead center,
you could also have the phone dead center and it wouldnt detect, i had to hover the phone half a centimeter around for it to detect and you can feel the magnetic pull, took me 1-3 seconds to trigger the charge
it was much simpler just charging via USB.
i would buy one again and open it and put it in a smaller housing like the size of the phone, maybe use a better magnet
a few people i know swear by these chargers but they have the official products,
the nexus4 will tickle charge once it reaches upto 90% to preserve the battery life.
Well I hope that this one won't have problems like above. It may have, maybe it will. I'll just have to wait and try it for myself. I dont think that charging with this one will be any slower since in the specs it says: "1. Input: 5V, 2A 2. Output: 5V, 1A" so if you use usb-charger that has 2A output it shouldn't be that much slower. If you use the original charger then it might take forever to fully charge?
The main reason I decide to buy this is the fact that I charge my phone every day. And sometimes I have to plug it out and back in few times a day because I need run some errands etc. Do you see where I'm going with this? The micro-usb port will take heck of alot "beating" daily and I've read so many stories (in general) about micro-usb being not as durable as it should be. So wireless charger will preserve my micro-usb port from over wearing and my phone will a long, happy, life
I have ordered one. Just for the main purpose of opening it and using the Qi charging pad in another housing. Got some cool idea's to experiment with!
EDIT: Oh yeah, and I bought the black one instead. Not that I need the actual housing, but if it doesn't work out like I want it to, i'd rather go for the same color as my nexus.

I now own a Nexus 5 & it works even better than the Nexus 4.
Mind you, they are a lot cheaper now than they were last year!!
Received mine yesterday. The sweet spot is obviously very small. It came with a white cable, was hoping for a black one. But my n900 charger will be fine too
Photo's:
Still waiting for mine. I was hoping to get it this week but we shall see. Thanks for the photos! I will add pictures of the white one once I receive it. Unless someone who already got their white version adds pics before I do.

Haven't had it on for very long. About 2 hours, felt like normal warmth like charging with micro USB. It's REALLY smooth. The Nexus will really fall of very fast, I have to make sure it's on a flat surface. Also if you move the device a bit it will stop charging, when you move it back it won't start charging again.
You will have to lift the phone up, and put it down again. Kinda annoyed by that, but hey, what can you expect for 8 euro's :good:
Okay I just received mine. It is very very light and feels kinda cheap (well duh, what can you expect for 8,5 euros? ). It looks pretty good, I'm not sure if I like the leds on it. They aren't too bright or anything but they just don't fit with the white theme. It also makes this little sound when it starts charging. This may be con for someone, but it doesn't bother me.

Yes I have one, I like it. I took it apart and removed the little speaker that beeps when you put the phone on.. it charges at 650mA.. so better than USB and just a bit slower than high quality cables with a wall charger.. ( 800mA).. so now I use it at work, its super easy to charge the phone with a wireless charger when working in a cubicle... you pick it up and put it down without the hassle of cables connected to your phone..
Hello,
What do you think is better for battery life?
I know that wireless is slower...

Wired if you need a super quick charge to get max battery life as possible.
Wireless for convenience if you won't be needing the juice for a bit.
At night I always plug in.

I use wireless wherever I don't need immediate charging.
Using the Samsung S Charger pad - Wide (here)
It's amazingly fast given that it's only got an output of 900mAh (or so it says)
The whole idea of fast charging sounds unsafe to me (probably isn't) but I have doubts of the life span of a battery that gets constantly charged that fast

Yeah if you need charge during the day I'd be go wired for sure just in case you need to head out at sudden notice or something.. Wireless is great when you know you have time on your hands

One problem from wireless one, is that you can't use phone, because you're broking charging cycle (it will affects battery life). For example, a call.
So, wire even if at day I have time. And wireless at night when I'm sleeping.
For me is the best option. Is it?

Yeah fair point
I use wireless everywhere but the car. I have wireless bedside, and on my desk at work. It's super convenient and even though it won't charge during phone calls, keeping it out he dock keeps it charged up. If I am heavy on it, I just unplug the dock and plug in directly. In the car is a different ballgame. In Texas, the summers are hot, and I've seen phones shut off because of overheating. I don't want to add the heat from a wireless charger to that. Instead, I have a quick charge 2.0 charger to top off my phone quickly during trips.

Here are some charging numbers I took for just 10 minutes. The percentage shown is the amount gained in the 10 minute window. I made sure the phone just changed to the certain percentage before testing to make sure they were all the same. Meaning If the phone was at 34% when I plugged it in or ont he wireless charger, I waited until it changed to 35% and then did my 10 minute window.
Fast charge Charger
10 minutes 17%
Wireless charger (Duracell Powermat)
10 minutes 6%
Normal Samsung 1amp Charger
10 minutes 8%
So the wireless wasn't much slower than a normal charger
Could someone please recommend a Good fast charging wireless charger for the tmobile Gs6. Thanks In advance!!!

I just did a test of the Samsung Wireless base.
It charged from 55% to 100% in about 1:23:30. Not as fast as 2A wired, but still a decent rate.
{UPDATE}
S6 Adaptive Fast Charger: 55%-100% in 00:50:00. I expect the S4 2A charger to be faster, which will be my next test. And if so, "Adaptive Fast Charging" is very misleading as the emphasis seems to be on "fast" as opposed to adaptive", as most people care about speed and not Amp switching.
{UPDATE 2}
I have no screenshot for this because my phone reset the stopwatch when I tried to tale a screenshot. (It takes me about 6-7 tries to take a screenshot - it usually just goes to Google app when I try to screenshot. Very annoying.)
The constant 2A Samsung charger went from 55% to 100% in 00:53:00, so it seems the "Adaptive Fast Charger" was 3min faster. I'm very surprised, but the 3min doesn't make any difference in my life.

Cheap, and works with Otterbox Defender case on my S6.
Fast? I guess that depends on how you define it.
I´m wondering whether all wireless chargers works the same? I mean if they charge evenly fast and with same efficiency, as they all are the same Qi standard?

I'm guessing no. In almost everything made, there is a "standard" that the item is made to, but varying qualities of build and performance. Take Bluetooth, for example. All items are made to a specific Bluetooth spec and standard, but not all accessories, transmitters, and receivers work to equal quality. I think it's a matter of the lesser accessories being good enough for you.
And keep in mind that I'm not saying that the expensive ones will always work better and the cheaper worse - just that you can't expect them to all work the same. But one thing that is true the majority the time - "you get what you pay for". And sometimes you don't.
I think that wireless charging can be handy. For instance, at work, I sit at a desk in front of a computer all day. I'll make calls a few times throughout the day to clients, and whenever I'm not on the phone, I plop the phone onto the wireless charger, and let it charge up a little. Usually, when I go home at 4:30, i'll still have a full charge. I'll drain the full charge with games or whatever while I'm at home, and I always plug it in before I go to bed. I've never found myself with a dead phone, but If you were the kind of person who was on the move all day talking to people, having a wireless charger might not be very beneficial.
Here's the wired charger I use
And the Wireless.

The adaptive fast charging speeds up charging when the battery is low. As the battery get closer to full the fast charging slows down to prevent damage to the battery. If you redid your comparison from 5% charge to 50% charge you'd see a much larger difference between the normal and fast charger.
I have 3 off these around the house, no issues at all.
And they come in all kinds of colors/styles.

Ah. I'll never let my battery get that low, though, so I guess it's not of much benefit to me.
Can't spend too much time or effort right now, but I think a new thread dedicated to this charger is warranted. I found this charger through this board, but there's no explicit thread (as far as I can tell)
I received mine yesterday, cost $35 on Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015351THO ). Shipping time was estimated at over a month, in reality it took about 10 days for me to get it from China, nice little surprise. No fast charge brick was included, but one is available for an extra $11 from Choetech. I'm using the one that came with my phone. It is crucial that a fast charge brick is used for this charger to work right.
So far this charger works great with my VZW variant edge 6+. I tried it first without a fast charge brick and it worked fine. When I use the fast charge brick it indicated that it is wireless fast charging. It seems slightly slower than if I plug it in to the fast charger, but faster than a normal (non-fast) charger. No problems overnight, woke up with a fully charged phone. No overheating. The really nice thing about this charger is that the indicator light goes out when I turn the room lights off, so I can sleep with it by my bed no problem.
Of note I have a Spigen thin clear case on the phone, it charged right through this case, no issues.

Replied on the other thread, but figured it would be more appropriate here.
So it works on the VZW variant? I had to return the Samsung Fast Wireless charger since it wouldn't work properly. Would always stop charging after 5 seconds or so. Read that Sprint and AT&T variants got a firmware update to address wireless charging issues. But of course, no VZW yet.
Yes, worked fine on my vzw variant.

No, I appreciate your post...know you were trying to be helpful. Just frustrated that Samsung's own charger doesn't work with my phone. Especially since their commercials are all over the TV touting the wireless charging capabilities of the N5 and S6 Edge+.
Will definitely try out the Choetech fast charger, especially since it's half the price of the Samsung charger.
The fast charging is working great so far.
Already got the white version of this Fast Wireless Charger at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015O4EZI4) . It's for 2-day shipping since I have Prime. I use it with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 & so far the fast charging is working great.
If u wanna actually see how much current your phones getting, download this free app, from the Play Store, Galaxy Charging.
You can use this info below that I'm going off memory, as a reference to see what you're getting
USB 1.0 or 2.0 (PC USB) = 500mA
USB 3.0 = 900 MA
USB 3.1 = 1500mA
Fast Charging = >1900mA
GALAXY CHARGING APP

Got this charger and the remaining time to fully charged is identical to what the original wall charger is showing that came with my s6 edge+
Im going to echo everybody else in here. Awesome device and saves you money in the long run. I have a video here
https://goo.gl/SHlM2Z
I have multiple wireless chargers. $3 cheapies, Samsung OEM, Spigen 3 coil wireless, and now this. This is by far the best one out of all of them. Just the fact that it has worked fast charging is great because you don't lose the charging speed that typically comes with wireless charging.
I tried this with a Note 5, S6, and a nexus 7. Worked well on all those devices with zero issues. The charger is heavier and feels sturdier than the other ones I have. I'm guessing whatever is inside to enable fast charging must be a pretty dense set of components.
Not sure if it's 3 coil but connects without issues every time. So far I haven't had an issue of having to mind it around to get it to connect. Tried with and without cases and haven't noticed a drop in charging time.
Definitely picking up a second one to leave at my office.

Just got this in the mail the other day. So far so good! Probably the best fast wireless charger you can get for the money. Performance seems very similar (pretty much identical or better) compared to the Samsung chargers, both normal and fast versions. Build quality seems sturdier than the Samsung oem ones. Love the auto-dimming light! No need to worry about a bright light emitting from the charger when the lights are low/off in your room. Works with both my Note 5 and S6 Edge+ without any issues. Also have been working with a few different cases on.
Would definitely recommend this Choetech charger for anyone looking to get great performance for a great price!

Has anyone else had heat issues while using this charger?
The past few nights I've noticed that my phone gets pretty hot while on the charger (with or w/out a case). When looking at the stats from my battery app, looks like the phone gets around 42-43 degrees Celsius. What's strange is that the temperature usually spikes after the phone has reached 100% charge and is still on the charger.

Actually did notice a little bit of a heat up, but nothing crazy hot or anything. It does say in their little pamphlet that it could get a little warmer than normal charging because it is inductive wireless charging.

I was concerned since my phone wasn't just warm, but hot to the touch. Seems that this only occurs once the phone has reached full charge and is trickle charging. Will keep an eye on it, don't want to damage my phone.

It's always been $45 with the quick charge adapter. $35 without the adapter. A whole lot cheaper than the $70 Samsung Fast Wireless Charger. I'm sure the prices will come down when more fast wireless charging products come to market...right now it's Samsung and Choetech.
