Follow these steps..
1. Don't use 3G, Go for 2G data connection.
2. Remove unwanted Apps (Few apps are really working as battery Eater, For me it was the concern for battery drain)
3. Still Not resolved, Do battery calibration (Refer Moto G Forum for this)
4. Still have problem.. Dude you have a defective piece of battery.. Return it to Flipkart, if crossed 30 days limit then Moto Customer care is the only option..

The average battery drop down rate in nearly 6% per hour...

Yep!! Not Rooted
Try turning off: Settings > Location, or put the phone into Airplane Mode. Power Toggles is a quick way to enable / disable Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS as needed.
While it is often discouraged, I kill all recent apps at night. You will also see a real benefit if you root and flash a custom kernel such as Faux - stock kernel is just not as battery efficient.
Deep Sleep Battery Saver has some nice features that will benefit you.
Saw on moto forums, it is a known issue but only happen once. Haven't happened to me yet.

previously my moto G's battery lasted like 5-7 days with light usage. now it's only last like 1 day with standby time. due to this battery drain I rooted the device and tried CyanogenMod 11 too.. then I revert back to my stock version due to some application instability with cyanogenmod but the issue still remains after trying many tricks, including blocking Google Play services and many more ..
is there any efficient methods to improve standby time and identify battery hogging processes ? or is this battery drain a normal issue in Android 4.4.3 ?
Please help.. I desperately need more help here ..
Flash Faux Kernel and install DS Battery Saver.
I've been running into this problem recently where my phone has been getting absolutely horrible battery life, despite using custom battery saving synapse profiles, greenify AND amplify. I've attached screenshots and my BBS dumpfile. I really have no clue what's going on, and it doesn't help that Google doesn't interpret asterisks. Does anyone know what *alarm* is and why it's being used by all these apps? And why my cell standby is so horrible despite my relatively good signal strength? I'm really very lost.
So I recently installed CMremix 5.1.1 on my 1st gen Moto G XT1031. All was well initially but after a couple of days the battery drain is rapid and frustrating. It also seems to charge very slowly. 5+ hrs for a full charge from 18%. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solution? Any info would be appreciated.
