Soft bricked Nexus 0with locked bootloader - HELP :( - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys - I hope some of you can help me out
I have stocked Nexus 9
No developer options enabled, no USB debbuging, no allow OEM unlock!
I received OTA upgrade with which I proceed to install
But it failed somehow.
Right now it only tries to boot - reboot once and goes into the dead android sign with Unknown Command from where I can access recovery Mode
I can access bootloader but it is locked
Therefore I am not able to fastboot anything
I cannot unlock it as I did not allowed that in the settings
Is there any way around it?
Cheers

[Q] Can't unlock phone

I am trying to Root and unlock my Phone a Nexus S
I am using this h**p://www.youtube.co*/watch?v=GSD92Qjt5Og
Lock state show up as Locked
When Phone reboots there no option to unlock it
The Options I have are
Reboot
Reboot Bootloader
Recovery
Power off
HELP
For some reason I'm getting an invalid URL. Might be a copy paste and edit fail on my part though. Did you grab the drivers for android sdk, download adb and try the fast boot method? A google search for Nexus S fastboot OEM unlock should help. I'm on my phone and have the links saved on my PC sadly

I got it thanks

Adb, CMD Device not listed please help

Model: MAH-L09C432B156
EMU: 5.0
Android Ver: 7.0 NOT ROOTED!
No access to Devlepoer options for USB Debugging
Hi I have a Huawei Mate 9 which is FRP locked, I have gained the unlocking code from Huawei and have all relevent software and instructions to unlock Bootloader and remove the FRP protecton but I am really struggling with connecting the device in CMD with adb.
I have drivers installed and have allowed connections to phone with HiSuite on device and PC, I am unable to get into Developer settings due to FRP protection bur according to what I have seen in every walkthrough shows that this should not be a problem, even though I am unable to enabe USB debugging. Anyway I did have it connected once but have not been able to since so if anone can tell me where i might be going wrong I would be grateful.
After resetting phone and following instuctions via Huawei to prepare device I hold Vol- and plug in USB to Boot into Fastboot/Recovery mode.
Open CMD and execute Adb.exe in command, after that I enter command \adb devices which gets deamon running but showing no device.
I have tried going into what settings I am able to enter and enable USB in any way possible but still to no joy.
I have looked at posts on here but not found anything that seems to help as yet or I have just not looked in correct place.
Please can someone help as this is frustrating. Thanks Stew.
If you entered fastboot already try "fastboot devices" instead of adb
Did you go into about phone and tap the "build number" 7 times to enable developer options? If so you should be able to access and enable USB debugging

HELP!!! Custom Binary (BOOT) Blocked By OEM Lock

Hi there, I've been having trouble rooting my Samsung Galaxy A20 - SM-A205GN for awhile now. I'm officially on Android Version 10 with One UI Version 2.0, I've followed the provided guide to root my device but it fails on Odin "all versions" when I flash the recovery.tar file. After it fails it gives me a prompt on my phone on recovery mode saying Custom Binary (BOOT) Blocked By OEM Lock. I have enabled OEM Unlocking and USB debugging but it seems like it doesn't enable is there a way that your carrier can block these options to not enabled because that's what my starting to think why I can't seem to root my device. Can anyone suggest any workaround or fixes for this problem.
While your phone is turned off hold down both volume buttons and connect the usb cable, it will give you 2 options just hold down the volume up button and your bootloader will be unlocked

This happens to the a207f because it has Snapdragon instead of Exynos
You have to flash Stock Firmware
Boot back to download mode and long Press Volume up button.
then you will be oem unlocked
....except not that I unlocked and relocked bootloader on s10e it won't show up again in developer options

Samsung S6 Lite Lock Bootloader

Hello, I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. When I power on the tablet I found a warning that says:
"This tablet's bootloader is unlocked and its software integrity can't be verified. Any data on this tablet may be vulnerable to attackers. Don't store any important or sensitive information on this tablet."
I know that this is a normal warning for users who want to root their tablet but this is not my case. I want my OEM locked again. I am searching a way to lock again the bootloader but I am unable to find information. Most users want to root their device or maybe I am searching in the wrong way.
I want to know how to lock my device again. I did a factory reset but the unlock remains. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Backup your data before doing this because it will wipe your internal storage.
1.Enable usb debugging in the developer option(developer can be enabled by tapping build number
2.Download ADB and Fastboot on your OS(e.g windows: minimal adb, learn how to install it and use it here)
3.fully shut down your device.
4.press and hold vol+up and vol+down at the same time, then plug in your charger that's connected to your PC.
5.Select Continue Unlocking Bootloader by holding volume+up
6.follow the on-screen instruction and relock your bootloader.
Your device will now reboot with a fresh system and a locked bootloader.

Device state locked.

This post is more like an explanation.
So my phone got bricked today, stuck at logo. I managed to access recovery and format data, but its stuck at formating data for more than 6 hour.
The only choice left is to unlock bootloader and flash firmware. Now here's the bull**** part.
When i try press fastboot oem unlock it says failed, device state locked. Device state can be set to unlock only through one method, by booting>going into settings>developer options>turning on oem unlocking. Doing this set your device in unlocked device state and thus allow it to unlock bootloader through fastboot. But, if your device got bricked and can't get into phone and your oem unlocking was off (average person will not set it to on) then you're ****ed, cuz without it you cannot unlock bootloader, thus you cannot install twrp or flash firmware.
This is so dumb, not even adb can set the device state to unlock. Read the last paragraph - (https://source.android.com/devices/bootloader/locking_unlocking)
There are so many post like these but no answer. so this post is for those guyz.
guess, i'll use feature phone for rest of my life
That an Android device's bootloader is locked by default isn't dumb, it has good reasons.
BTW: Flashing device's Stock ROM doesn't require device's bootloader got unlocked before.
tried flashing stock rom using adb sideload and fastboot. both failed. adb states that it cannot as it is a downgrade. fastboot says that device state is locked.
Yes, im aware that it is present for a good reason, but someone who's phone doesnt boot up has no way to unlock bootloader or do anything.
I'm not sure that I have the same problem but I have Samsung sm-t500 on the download mode says : device state lock and Im searching for FRP software but I think it won't happen because I tried too to connect via ADB and still can't connect.. But mine is still not bricked.. I will be very happy if you can give me some advice
