I am new to this site and also a new android user.
I have the Xperia S 6.1.a.2.45 and I want to root it.
Are there any threads or a step-by-step guide for newbies like me that we can follow easily?

Please, I need a rom android 4.2 for my xperia go with locked bootloader, or file .ftf with that platform.

Here ist the [XGO] UPDATED(9/22/13)! Index of ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries & Tools by ronald_sugar7 thread.
But I can't find a stock Android 4.2 file there. Maybe Sony hasn't released this Android version officially for your device. Or the index thread is not updated any more.
But you can check the Xperia Go Android Development forum for the newest (custom) ROM versions.

Thanks for using XDA Assist Best Rom threads/posts are not allowed has pointing any 1 rom is disrespect to other rom developers , also it varies from user to user one may not like the rom what i like hence its always good idea to test rom and see which suits you best. kindly bookmark your Device forum

[Completed] Howto flash Dual recovery on Sony Xperia Z1 having lollipop 5.0.2(Build 14.5.A.0.270)

Hi!I am using this Sony Xperia Z1 C6902. I have already rooted it with Kingroot and also have unlocked the bootloader. Now when I refer to various tutorials to flash custom recoveries like the dual recovery, I found out that those tutorials are meant for some other build ( e.g. .585).
So my question is...how can i flash the dual recovery if i have the above mentioned pre-requisities already available on my phone (the underlined ones) ?
Also could i get the method to flash Xposed framework after flashing the custom recovery ?
Please help me as soon as possible !

Hi all
I am new to android world and few days back I soft bricked my phone but was able to successfully get it fixed after lot of searching on google and experimentation.
I had to install stock rom for starting my phone
But I want to install a custom rom. So can you guys tell me which is the best ROM I can install on my phone.
I have seen several lists of ROMS but i am confused that whether they will work on infocus or not.
Will Cynogen Mod work on this device?

There is no forum specifically for the infocus M2 at this time but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
