Downloading this sucker right now. I am so stoked to test this one out soon.
Im building v7.1 right now. It should have some decent fixes in it. 3G fixes, audio fixes, some apps are fixed, and more.....
You can wait if you want, but it wont be up for about 3 to 4 hours, maybe just a little less.
Wow, sorry but I am loving this build. I can't wait to see the upgraded version.
How did you get that HTC Sense clock onto it?
Got some last minute changes, so I wont have it up this morning, but it should be up later this afternoon.

Thats actually Fancy Widget Pro 1.0.8 with a themed flip clock applied to it. I take it you want it! lol You cant have it! Its MINE! lol j/k its a very, very good app. I would suggest you check it out.
wat are in the extra apps apk folder??
is there any other kernels i can flash to OC??
As far as kernels go, there are more here:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/chevyno1/149845-kernels-5-26-11-froyo-gingerbread.html
As far as what is in the extra apps zip, it contains the files and apps that I removed from the main ROM, to save space.
I cannot get this rom to load on my droid. I've downloaded it from this site and also off of rom manager. Is there anything special I have to do? I've loaded other roms without issue. Cyanogen 2.3.3 as an example.
Did you wipe first? (that sounded dirty...lol)
Steel Droid 7.1 is up! Fixes a few much needed issues! Enjoy!
7.1.1 is up! No posts by anybody in between either release???
I dont have the droid but I just flashed this on my friends, great job, everything seems to be working fine, keep up the good work

I am on Liquid 1.9, can you tell me how much different you rom is?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA Premium App
My ROM doesnt have all the features that Liquid's 1.9 does, sadly. Mine is more of a minimal ROM, with all the necessary features in it, but not overloaded with settings so as to confuse the user. Because my ROM has less overhead, it saves battery, and can run smoother than most other ROM's. There is no one "perfect" ROM, they all have their flaws, and mine is no exception. I will never claim to have the best ROM out there, or the one with the fewest bugs. From time to time, one or both might be true, but not always.
So its really up to your personal preference
Just uploaded this onto a friends so we'll see how it works. Liquid 1.9 kept randomly resetting on him
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 Ultimate Droid 3.3.0
In case your came across the WIFI bootloop issue, download the new zip as of today at 8pm. It has the fix for the bootloop issue. :-D
Hey man nice rom, so far so good, on daddy's droid. Anything to help this piece move along a little.
Worked great untill......
Fault: When I put the phone into airplane mode and turned on wifi, it locked the whole phone up. It will boot, but after boot it goes to the lockscreen and locks up for about 1 min then roboots on its own.
Edit: I was unable to fix this. I recovered nanoid...
Help. Can't Upgrade from 6
Hi,
I flashed this rom with no issues. Until.....
Once I install a profile switcher, the phone begins to go into an endless reboot loop that can't be stopped without a complete reset of the phone. I have tried two different profile switcher apps with the exact same result. I do not have this issue with 6 and have flashed back to my original backup.
Can someone help?.... Please!!! I would love to upgrade!!!
Apps tried:
PhoneWeaver (SBSH Mobile Software)
Smart Profiles (Free) (AnTuTu)
Thanks!
I'm on Gummy Nightly 4.4.2 and I'm looking for something more stable. Life is a bit hectic right now so I'm not able to constantly flash a new rom.
What has been the best 4.4.2 rom that you've had the most success with?
to each there own .

Beanstalk and Liquidsmooth! Waiting for the Pac-Man release!
If life is to hectic to find a rom I suggest stock.

I'm liking my PA 4.4 pa_d2vzw-4.0-BETA-20131208 that one it seems to be the only one with a functional camera so far.

All you are going to get is people's limited opinions. Plus, if someone has only used 1 or 2 different ROMs - vs ALL of the ones available - they really can't comment

I meant to say "stable" I just want a rom where the basic functions like Camera work and I'm able to use instagram etc without it crashing. Gummy is fine, but not being able to use the camera is a big thing. I would like a multi-window feature that Hyperdrive has, but I'd like to stay at 4.4.2.
Also, no I will never go back to stock. As for those who have used one or two different roms their opinions are still valid. They can say whether it was stable or not.

A ROM with a non-functioning camera would never even get consideration from me ! Same applies to ROMs with no working data. Does the Gummy thread tell you the camera doesn't work ? I'd hope so !!
For what it's worth, I've tried the following KK ROMs (with my opinion/comments):
Beanstalk (Gideon's build) - good ROM, no complaints that I can recall.
Omni (Gideon's build) - too plain or simple (or boring) for me. Didn't have a few features that I've grown to like (I blame PAC for that !!). It was stable though.
LiquidSmooth (both the LS team version and Gideon's) - my preferred ROM at the moment. Runs fine, everything works, and has many of the features I like. Between two builds a week and a half apart, I see add'l things added too.
ParanoidAndroid (notta's build) - can't recall any details at the moment.
I suggest trying ParanoidAndroid 4.0 BETA. Yes, it is a beta but it is very stable. I have been using it since Notta switched to 4.4.x. The are still working out small bugs (like every other KK ROM), but like I said, it's very stable.
It does not have multi-window. For that I suggest Omni ROM. I've been using that on my ASUS TF300T and it works awesome!
As evident by some above commentary, XDA is not a support site and users are expected to test all Roms to make their own, independent, determinations as to what is stable for them.
Thread closed.
Hello!
So I just got my brand new One plus one today :good:. I wanted to install Lollipop on it, and yes I know its still in mostly alpha development at this moment. However, can anyone recommend me what in thier opinion is the best and most stable lollipop ROM for the One plus one? I'm mostly looking for stability. (and mediocre battery life)
Thanks in advance! :highfive:

If your OPO is new i wont recommend you doing anything for atleast 2 weeks!
Till that time Alpha builts will progress to beta builds hopefully
use CM11s Its actually quite awesome!
Play with camera you'll love it...
CM12 has bad camera for now! :{
There is no best stable lollipop rom, they all build from the same source and is more or less identical with very minor insignificant changes.
I personally like the latest liquidsmooth 4.0 build.
Sent from my One A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
Best stable Lollipop Alfa for One+ One is for me the Temasek-Build.
There's no such thing as a best ROM anyway. You'll get a million different people with a million different opinions, which makes asking this question completely pointless because you're left having to flash and find out, which is what you should be doing in the first place.

Haven't tried SuperLuminal's version yet, but the CM12.1 version you find here on XDA is working fine. There are a few bugs, but nothing a reboot can't handle...
Just keep in mind, that both are unofficial builds of CM12.1, as the CM Team haven't made an official version (yet - or perhaps it might never happend)
But give the SuperLuminal's version a shot - and tell us about your experience.

Thanks for response. Is cm12.1 smoother than miui? I find mi4c with miui less responsive than my old oneplus one with cm13. It's quite disappointing that my new mi4c is more laggy than 2years old OPO. Will that unofficial cm12.1 fix it a little? Or just snapdragon 808 is way slower than old 801?

Coming from OnePlus One as well, but with CM 12s, for that little time I spend using stock MIUI, I did not notice any lack or the phone being slower than the OPO. Actually MIUI ran pretty damn fast on the MI 4c - but the reason I moved away from the official, was because Kaspersky found malware on the ****ing phone. So maybe you should check you phone for malware or any unwanted apps. Depending on where you got the phone, it might have been tampered with.
Maybe, you should try to disable/freeze any apps you do not like first and see if that helps.
Anyway, if it's a faulty model you've received, you might want to return it...
Well this cm 12.1 has the nav bar working with capacitive keys disabled while the other one has it still enabled. I'm sure it will be fixed.
Jonas you probably had a reseller modified rom flashed. The EU rom doesn't have any malware.
Hi guys. I use TS rom for a few days. It is very smooth, likewise the Xiobai rom. Everything is working, except...edge double tap. Of course, you can enable it, but then ehile typing on any keyboard (aosp, google), it causes random backs. This feature is super while surfing on internet, but in real life it is too hmm anoying. I don't even touch edges and keyboard hides. When disable- not. It is my only complain. Battery and smoothness are very good. At night with lte enabled takes 1-2%. Best regards from Poland.

Xiaomi Service Framework Mod not work for me
I'm testing SuperLuminal CM 12.1 port from yesterday. It works pretty well so far; edge double tap is OK and didn't cause any unexpected behaviour in my usage.
There is no issue of DT2W not working after booting from recovery (that issue is present on Xiaobai's port, you have to reboot once from the ROM to have DT2W back).
Other than that the two ROMs are pretty much the same to me; Xiaobai's one might feel a little bit smoother in my opinion, but really a tiny bit.
I'm trying to get rid of any stuttering playing with entropy settings in Kernel Adiutor, will report back if I'll find anything useful.

Just wanted to say that I experienced the same thing. I had a Nexus 4 with Minimal OS (Android 6.0) and it was sadly faster than the Mi4C.
I'm not saying that the Mi4C is slow. It is fast. But i was expecting something more. Expecially while typing (as write here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4c/help/expected-t3274918) i can feel the difference.
The Mi4C also have some micro-lag during transition that take away some joy on the daily use..
I'm probably going to try one of theese CM12.1 and see if i can get the same responsiveness i had with the N4
New rom is out now in Team Superluminal site.

Yes, I know - I tried contacting Coolicool whom I bought it from - but they are just being like what these type of Chinese stores usually are - ignorant towards complains.
I am considering making the switch back to MIUI7 - but I'm not too keen on going back to a KK rom..

It is pretty stable. I'll been using TS PAC-rom 5.1.1 now for few days and I haven't noticed anything. But like our news says, IT IS UNDER TESTING for now. So if you like to try, take a backup of your current rom. And if you don't like it, you can revert back where you was.
There is lots of options/features from great roms. Like the PACman roms slogan goes "ALL IN ONE"
Does it have nav bar option?
Piston Headset problem under CM
I1m using the Mokee 5.1.1 Rom and its really great, I only have one big problem with it: My 3-button Piston2 headset doesn't work properly, only the play/pause button responds as it should, the volume rockers only open the dialer. It worked perfectly under Miui, but I love these custom roms much more!
Is it possible, to find a solution for this problem?! I'd love to try your rom, especially if there's any chance it will work!

Hi all,
Ever since CM has been available for my devices, I have been using CM. Tried many other roms, but never really anything that I felt so comfortable with as CM.
Now that CM13 CAF has stopped development ( @myfluxi, you magnificent bastard! You created a great ROM!) I will probably stay on this one for a while but at a certain point move on.
So I started to look into Cataclysm a bit. Any ex-CM users here that went to Cataclysm and never looked back? Or the other way around?
Why exactly?
Please keep it civil, no fanboys or flamewars.
Why don't you try Cataclysm then make your own decision.

Because of my banking application, every time I try a new ROM (thus factory reset), I have to go back to my bank outside of my office hours, wait in line for forever and have the app reactivated.
So am I a bit reluctant to just switch to see if I like it. Was hoping for some replies from people that switched from one to the other and never went back.

Yes, but I'm not interested in other roms other than giving Cataclysm a try. So I'll leave that up to others.
Anything else to add to the topic, or just here to live up to your signature?
I would go for Cataclysm over CM13 as Cataclysm feels more stable & smooth compared to CM13.
CM13 sometimes feels unstable as it is in nightly stage.
Surely the opinion might change when CM13 Stable will be available.
Don't get me wrong.
But CM has its own advantages.
I personally dislike CM because the performance has been worse thay it used to be, and idk why. I would prefer Cataclysm over CM and Chroma over Cataclysm, because the performance in Chroma is just great! I also use the elementalx kernel and limit my cpu to 2.0 ghz for battery. So Cataclysm is much more stable than CM, as CM has alot of problems with systemui right now, and with Cataclysm, you wont have an annoying 'Edit Tiles' button in your quick settings.

Tried it (went to Catcalysm and loved it!) but the backup didn't work.
It brings me to the login page, type my pin and it just doesn't respond. So for this banking app it didn't work, sadly enough

Battery life for me went from barely being able to get through a working day on CM13 to getting home with 40 or sometimes even 50%+ battery on Cataclysm with EX kernel.
So battery was a huge improvement for me, which is what I needed.
Why is cataclysm thread closed? Did I miss something?
Thread is closed at the request of the dev/OP, atl4ntis.
But why without warning? I like catalysm mod and all it extra settings. I hope someone make same mod in the future, when new android version come out.
