TWRP does not work - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I attempted to flash my Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition WI-FI tablet for the first time. When I attempted to Install TWRP it displayed an error message and rebooted my device into a TWRP UI. The touch screen would not work, prevemting me from doing anything on this UI. does anyone know how I could bypass TWRP or reinstall an older more reliable version?

Basic answer is do nothing until you understand .
Suggest you post this in the Note 10.1 2014 forum and use TWRP for your model as it reads as you have flashed for a different product .

[Q] Why my Galaxy Note 2 is showing as t03g and can't flash CM mod?

I am trying to flash my Galaxy note 2 (AT&T I-317). I can get into recovery mode but when flashing the rom it will always be unsuccessful and showing infomation as "your device is 't03g' and the rom you flashed is not compatible" From the CM website, seems the correct name of my device is 't0lteatt'. I have no idea why my device is detected as 't03g' and hoping anyone knows how to solve this problem.
My previous ROM is MyMIUI ROM based on android 4.1. Thanks in advance!

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0: Baseband

Hi,
I've the latest cyanogenmod 13 version on my Samsung galaxy Note 8.0 (aka N5100).
With the last nightly update my baseband has been corrupted.
I missed the migration phase to lienage OS, so that now I would have to wipe my device and install the current lineage OS from blank. I'm not prepared to do this fully reset now.
Is there anywhere out there someone, who has a working European baseband for the N5100 available at hand? I only need the baseband.zip file, that I can install with TWRP, to get my device fully operational again.
Thank you very much for any help leading to find a working baseband.zip file!

Update my s7 edge from 6.0.1 to 8 and the signal doesn't work

Well, I had installed the android 6.0.1 but I decided to change it to android 8 for odin (a serious error) because now my s7 edge has no signal, I know this happens because the imei is altered, but to get it back I had made a backup in TWRP, the problem is that when changing rom the TWRP is deleted then try to install it as I had done before, the problem is that it does not work anymore, when installing TWRP for odin, and enter to resaurar my copy that had already fact shows storage in (0) mb and I can not restore it, when leaving TWRP it does not go beyond the samsumg logo and I have to flash the AP for odin of the android 8 that I have downloaded, now, I just want to go back to android 6.0.1 and have the device, as it was before, I know it was a novice error but I take your help, for TWRP I can not go back to 6.0.1 because I think TWRP does not have s7 edge support with android 8.
I translated this into Google Translate, sorry if there are parts that are not understood
i have an unlocked s7, so i guess that is what i can hope if i do the same, that makes me sad because i want android 8

[Help] Phone Working On WRONG FIRMWARE.....!!!!!! {Magic Happened}

Hello Everyone!
So today something really interesting happened with me...... I'm feeling okay but i'm kinda nervous too.
I had rooted my phone earlier and flashed Lineage OS but i was encountering lots of problems so i tried to flash phone's firmware with odin.
My phone was Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro. I installed a firmware file and flashed it. But unfortunately, the firmware was of Samsung Galaxy On7 not Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro. When, i installed it, i encountered a DRK error! Then, it took me to Stock Recovery. From there, i wiped cache and internal storage and rebooted. It somehow worked very correctly. But now whenever i reboot my phone, i get Galaxy On7 logo not Galaxy On7 Pro. I don't know what happened but it's a MIRACLE of Android.........!!!!!!!
So, my queries are as follows:
Now, i'm stuck on Android Lollipop (5.1.1). There is a OTA update available within the system because it says its official now. What if i update? Will it even update? Or it will brick because phone model is different and firmware is diffrent?
Will it run smoothly in the situation where it is? (Note: I have not encountered any issues till now. Both Software and Hardware work well)
So, Miracles can happen in android world as happened with me.
Glad to hear you were able to unbrick your phone!
First a warning, I have no experience with your particular phone. But, I would think your update would go through. Usually the Pro and non-pro models are very similar and that is why your firmware worked. There might be some weird functionality in some areas like the camera or modems.
So, you can try the update. Worse case, you flash the On7 Pro firmware instead of the non-pro version again.
Well, the software updated and worked. No issues at all.
But i'm still confused how did it even work........
Anyway, i'm back to Marshmallow (6.0.1) again.
Everything works fine. I tested most things and all work correctly. I think Samsung just gave 8GB storage in non-pro version and 16GB in pro version and software is same xD
I also got new bootanimation and phone turn on sound from that
Moreover, i ordered a new Samsung M31 as i wanted more storage
But problems on older phone are also solved
Now, i will keep 2 phones

Galaxy Note 10.1 2014

I would like to install a newer rom in the above tablet. I wamted to start by installing TWRP, the app then the recovery. After insatlling the app, every time I attempt to install the correct version of TWRP (listed in the "devices selection box) I get nothing but "failed to download file from server'. What is going on and is there a way around this method of installing TWRP?

I don't own a Note 10.1 so maybe not much help.
The TWRP App requires root access to your phone to install twrp.
To install TWRP you will need a PC
Here's one guide to installing TWRP

As for customs ROM's you will have to check in your device forum.

This may sound crazy but my Galaxy note 10.1 2014 wifi tablet does not haver "oem unlock" option in the developer options menu. I access the "developer options" by pressing "build number" 7 times and it acknowledges that developer options are indeed turned on, but no OEM unlock to be found. Booting directly into recovery mode yields the stock recoveruy menu in "download" mode that cannot be ended or altered via button presses. Consequently neither adb nor fastboot will communicate directly with the boot-level of the tablet. I can go back and forth between normal boots to android 5.1 and recovery (download) mode but nothing beyond. TWRP app goes directly to TWRP download, which does complete but I can get no further. I have Odin and Magisk at my disposal if either of these would circumvent the inability of adb and fastboot to replace the recovery software.
To install any non samsung signed firmware will require an unlocked bootloader.
What is your actual model number, is it an Eyxnos or Snapdragon variant.
The model of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is SM-P600. The processor is Exynos Octa 5420. according to the "CPU-Z" app.
My plan is to install the TWRP recovery along with the highest level of Lineage OS compatible with my wifi model tablet.

Since i don't have a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 i can't be of much help in regards to it.
Depends on model number you may not have the bootloader unlock option. It may be unlock already.
I have seen some threads that basically says enable usb debugging in developers options, root with cf auto root and flash twrp. It seems the cf auto root zip file will depend on what android version you are on.
This is one guide. Basically did a google search for you device.
Root Galaxy Note 10.1 SM-P600 and Install TWRP on It
To Root Galaxy Note 10.1 SM-P600 and install TWRP on it, follow our tutorial given below.

I would look into you device forums ( link in 2nd post ) and have a look around in general and developers section and maybe post your question there for better response from someone who has your device model. Make sure you look up your device (p600) or if posting include your model number.
