Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
You didn't mention which device you have but since I see you already posted in the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2364252, I suggest you simply ask your questions in that forum where members familiar with your device might be able to best advise you. You could also ask wherever your ROM is supported if it is coming from XDA. Please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!

We can't provide technical support here on XDA Assist, only try to point you in the right direction. If there is no forum specifically for your device, try posting with all relevant details in the general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help but make sure you mention which device you are using, not just that it has the Mediatek MT6592. I see quite few threads dealing with your SoC at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=mt6592 but you'll have to narrow that down to the device and ROM you are using.
Once again, good luck!

[Completed] Restore a hard-bricked android device; Karbonn a4 in particular

I recently agreed to help a friend on repairing his mobile and i succeeded. but i tried different options and mistakenly deleted the system files. so now all that displays is the boot logo. can anybody help me to recover it? better, if someone could provide me with a backup from the same model so i can simply apply it from SD card.
P.S. it was rooted before going into hard brick stage!

[Completed] Asus zenfone 2 app recovery failure.

A few months ago I rooted my phone (asus zenfone 2 z00ad) so I could remove some bloatware that came with it.
I used titanium back-up to delete those apps, and of course I first made an back-up of an app before i deleted it.
But I was stupid enough to accidently delete DMclient (the software update app).
So as soon as I discovered that I was very happy with my back-up but everytime I try to re-install it it says app not installed. :crying:
I also tried to use a third party installer called system app installer but it gives me an error that says: Mounting error, Cannot mount system partition as Read/Write.
So what should I do?
Can it be fixed, or do i need to flash a complete new rom?
It comes with really nice updates so I hope someone can help me.

XDA Assist is no longer available for posting questions. You can go ahead and quote my post to ask any question relating to root and nandroid or post your question at https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help

I was on the XDA Assist team for a while, two different times. As far as I know, XDA Assist was discontinued so it is not a valid question anymore.
