[Completed] Xperia wont connect to pc - XDA Assist

Hi everyone
I have a specific problem, my Z1 compact which is running Lollipop 5.0.2 wont be recognized by my PC
When I plug in the usb Cable (which is original) it shows me the error message USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED / error 403
But the problem is this, its not in the drivers on the computer because i could connect my phone earlier at my workplace, at home
and my GFs laptop, the drivers are installed via PC Companion, and i also installed them manually and via flashtool to make sure they are installed !
I got this problem maybe after installing some apps on my phone , maybe that have root acces? / Kingroot - SuperSU
I think that the problem is IN THE PHONE ITSELF / It kinda lost its identity to PCs or in some app ?
I tried fixing it throught the device manager but couldnt get it to work.... Im running windows 10 on my machine, 7 on Workplace and XP on GFs Laptop...
Any suggestion would be helpfull, thanks in advance

[Q] Fashtool does not have the driver for my X10 Mini Pro (U20i)

Hi,
I have been reading numerous posts regarding upgrading the Mini Pro to android 2.2 or above, and it is very tempting to me as I would like to install the apps onto the sd card instead of just the phone number as of in android 2.1. I have gone as far as installing flashtool 0.9.3, installing the latest sony ericsson software and installed the "x10 mini driver". However, when I switch off my mini pro, press the "back" button and connect the usb cable, my computer has failed to find the driver for my phone. I have tried the same method on another computer too but the same result yielded. Is there any rooting software similar as the flashtool for me to try?
Many thanks for your advise
Anyone please?

[Q] Flashtool drivers

Hello, can I please ask which drivers should I install (Flashtool Experia Driver Pack 1.6) for Xperia M2, since it is not in the list of listed devices when installing. Thanks and all best.
Anyone? I installed all drivers from Flashtool Experia Driver Pack 1.6, but Flashtool still cannot seem to detect the M2 handset when connected through USB. I used a Xperia U before and had no such problems. The phone is detected in Windows 7 without any problems. Any helping input would be appreciated. All best.
Hi,
you can download
Sony ADB Flashtool Drivers
NB : all sony drivers here (with fastboot drivers)
I hope it will be useful
Thanks for the reply. I don't see a Xperia M2 driver on Sony's page. Which driver is compatible with M2? All best.
This is resolved. I force installed Google's android USB driver, and my M2 is now detected in Flashtool. The "Android" device was missing drivers in Device Manager, Windows 7 64bit.
Cool

Alright....I reinstalled my windows os to have the pc fresh... hence uninstalling all Android drivers......
but suddenly before i could install adb drivers which requires conecting device in debug mode........my Xperia J bricked ..I was using seraphic 7...for a couple of months...
its stuck on bootloop... flashtool does not recognize any device connected ..tried installing pc companion too... but it didn't recognized my JLO too....
i also installed all drives with the flashtool including XJ..... but still same
in my opinion its adb drivers problem ......it is not recognizing my device in either in FLASHMODE or FASTBOOTMODE.....
This situation sucks guys... help me here... i'm having a real bad time :crying::crying::crying:..... i will appreciate..with a thumbs up...:good::good::good:
In device manager on PC does your phone show up? If it does, search how to install ADB, and if you're on Windows 8 + you have to disable driver signature verification before installing drivers.
Good Luck.

Can't repair Sony Ericsson Aspen M1i with Sony PC Companion

I have a Sony Ericsson Aspen M1i windows 6 based phone. It is locked and I forgot the password.
So I tried to repair it with Sony PC Companion
I followed the step Support Zone > Phone/Tablet Software Update > Repair my phone/tablet > Start > Prepare (by downloading and agreeing all things and choosing my phone model)
But after ending up at the last step where it asks to turn off the phone and connect it with pc by holding down call button, it doesn't go any further :crying:
I tried to connect it for more than a thousand times, took off the battery and reinstated it, but it didn't work
Windows sounds when I connect the phone, then nothing
Is it something to do with the drivers or ggsmec drivers?
I tried to install drivers I found over google
Couldn't found any boot or fastboot drivers for this phone
.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! :crying:
