Hi to all of you and recently i decided to root my Xperia X10 mini and after going thru the guides, here downloaded the superoneclick. Now onto the problem, it keeps getting stuck on Starting ADB Server and not progressing forward. (USB Debugging allowed & phone connected to PC with charge phone option) Still the window states that the programme is not responding and i have to close the programme. Can some one suggest what should i do to get started ??
Hi everyone
I have a specific problem, my Z1 compact which is running Lollipop 5.0.2 wont be recognized by my PC
When I plug in the usb Cable (which is original) it shows me the error message USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED / error 403
But the problem is this, its not in the drivers on the computer because i could connect my phone earlier at my workplace, at home
and my GFs laptop, the drivers are installed via PC Companion, and i also installed them manually and via flashtool to make sure they are installed !
I got this problem maybe after installing some apps on my phone , maybe that have root acces? / Kingroot - SuperSU
I think that the problem is IN THE PHONE ITSELF / It kinda lost its identity to PCs or in some app ?
I tried fixing it throught the device manager but couldnt get it to work.... Im running windows 10 on my machine, 7 on Workplace and XP on GFs Laptop...
Any suggestion would be helpfull, thanks in advance

Hi there,
Read carefully this threads: [REPAIR HARD BRICK] Test Point For Xperia Z1 Compact and this one [Q] Xperia Z1 Compact HARD BRICKED

Good luck
I rooted Xperia C and installed CWM with Mobile Uncle Tools. Something went terribly wrong and since then the phone is dead. I have tried possibly all the ways on the internet to connect it to my PC (Windows 10) in download mode to use either Sony Companion or wmshua to flash the stock rom but the problem is it isn't detected. All I get under device manager is a Serial Device (COM4) under Ports even though the light is still red on the phone and another thing I have noticed is that it keeps disconnecting and connecting again and again. I have tried installing various drivers, but no luck!
Can you guys please help me out?
Anyone please?? Any suggestions??
I have a Sony Ericsson Aspen M1i windows 6 based phone. It is locked and I forgot the password.
So I tried to repair it with Sony PC Companion
I followed the step Support Zone > Phone/Tablet Software Update > Repair my phone/tablet > Start > Prepare (by downloading and agreeing all things and choosing my phone model)
But after ending up at the last step where it asks to turn off the phone and connect it with pc by holding down call button, it doesn't go any further :crying:
I tried to connect it for more than a thousand times, took off the battery and reinstated it, but it didn't work
Windows sounds when I connect the phone, then nothing
Is it something to do with the drivers or ggsmec drivers?
I tried to install drivers I found over google
Couldn't found any boot or fastboot drivers for this phone
.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! :crying:
While connecting my tab to PC (Windows 11)
It's showing USB device not recognised. I already tried reinstalling the drivers and replacing the USB Cable but to no avail. Can someone help me out?

If it failed after replacing the cable and you are sure the drivers are working then it's possible that the port is broken and there is nothing you can do about it unless you bring it into a repair shop. At most you can share files through internet, Bluetooth or SDcard if this happens.

Hey. Thanks for the reply! I will give my tab for repair shortly. I just have a couple more questions.
1. My Laptop is running Windows 11 and my PC is running 10. I don't have previous versions of Windows. Is Windows 11/10 responsible for this in any way? i.e. will the device be recognised in computers running older versions of Windows? (I have already tried the fixes mentioned in Windows forums for "USB Device not Recognized" but to no avail).
2. Is there any way to access Download Mode, root, install a custom recovery & ROM without using the USB cable ?

Windows is not at fault. I am using windows 10 myself and everything works as expected. If it was at fault then it didn't manage to find a suitable driver in which case you have to do it manually.
Also from what I know you are not able to flash a custom recovery through the SD card in download mode. I believe it has to be done through the cable. But if you already have a custom recovery installed you can install a custom ROM just fine with an SD card

About no. 2., you may try this method to first root, then install TWRP, and then install custom rom. But please read the instructions and NOTE carefully.
