FRF91 OTA?

FRF91 OTA just turned up on my un-rooted nexus one - not sure whats included, I already had the FRF85B OTA update earlier this week to take me from my manually (but officially google sourced) beta builds of FROYO iAnybody else seen this?

I too just got this update this afternoon on my non-rooted Nexus One. I'm on T-Mobile.

Just got mine OTA as well a few minutes ago.. unrooted AWS N1 on T-Mobile.

Any idea what changes this build contains?

Everytime i receiv an update OTA when i reboot i get an error in the downloaded file, can it be bec i have the bootloader unlocked?
it says ts not signed or smntg

Unlocking bootloader will not cause update to fail. If you have custom recovery and/or custom ROM, it will.

My guess would be that it's probably a fix to the exploit which allows people to root without unlocking the bootloader.

If you have changed your recovery from stock, then the OTA won't install.

All updates from EPE54B and up are safe as far as I know. If not, it wouldn't flash. The updates are the same for both now days.

nvm i just went back to stock recovery, im not installing any custom ROM anyways

You could always just fastboot boot the stock recovery and flash it so that you don't have to reflash the recovery again.

Bootloop with stock firmware

I got this sensation from ebay as "New", and i tried updating the firmware, but when I unlocked it, it would say loading, and then freeze for like 15 seconds and then reboot. This is pissing me off, and I turned it off, held the power and vol down button and selected factory reset, and it's still doing the same thing. Is there any way to fix this? Any help would be appreciated!

You need to provide more detales like what your bootloaders says, how did you upgrade you firmware?

I went to Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check now and it said there was an update from google, so I updated it.
And the bootloader shows this

i think you need to flash RUU please read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425 and ask before doing something someone else will answer you the write thing because i'm not very familiar with RUU( stock firmware)

I tried taking out my sim card and then booting it, and to my surprise, it actually booted for some reason. (Bad sim card maybe?) I'm going to try to update it via software update on HTC and then putting in my sim card after it's done updating.

Try that, and try your sim on other devices i don't think the sim is bad but check it out

S6 Bootloader and Modem Odin Flash Failed Red

Greetings, this might be a better place to post this. Up till now my roots have been ok and bootloader and modems are ok. But recently (yesterday) i wanted to use Xtresolite Rom again and wanted to update to newest recommend BL and Modem, however im getting a fail. I already tried a new computer so its not that. I never had this issue before and its a bit concerning.
The phone works ok, but i can no longer update the BL and Modem on it.... any ideas on how to get around this ? Reset it or something like that ? I have read that a possible complete FORMAT might fix it, but does that mean it removes everything on the phone including SDcard storage files or just the mainphone files ? Here is a screenshot of what i get in Odin, would really appreciate some help.

If you previously firmware (OI9 and new) had it, you can return to the boot loader only to release OI9.
Older bootloader cause an error.

I never had I09, pretty sure previous to this i had one B0F or something like that. What is the latest for Samsung 920i that i can try ?

Actually issue is resolved, i installed Samsung Phone Info from app store and i double checked my bootloader and modem installed i am already running latest bootloader from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/development/g920i-bootloader-modem-updated-10-10-t3221796
So i guess the fact is i cannot downgrade maybe thats why this is the issue. So i think all is ok

Have you attempted to use Odin to return to stock?

Exact same thing happened to me! cost me too much to fix it.
I had to mail out mt s3 for a jtag service.
EZ-unlock HARD-BRICKS phones on 4.3 and up. This is happening to way too many people! there should be a way to stop this.
One can brick their phone if ignores the warning, but there is NO WARNING for this app.
EZ-Unlock HARD-BRICKS your phone. DO NOT USE IT if you're on 4.3 and up.

If you read on the forums prior to using the app it wouldn't happen. The problem is too many people just do things without reading first

here's how I got out of ez unlocker
I've done the exact same thing. luckly I was able to get back boot. Here's how.
I knew stock firmware should fix things. so in search of firmware i ended up here then i looked at the 1st comment. downloaded it and it worked.

You hard bricked it.
You can either find someone to jtag an image back to your phone or use a hard brick repair guide. If you go the jtag route consider getting it downgraded to 4.1.2 so you can have an unlocked bootloader.

Download Next Radio from the play store, and you need headphones plugged in to serve as the antenna.

I think they're pushing the FM radio cause of the issue going on with iheartradio
If you're not on the beta 6.1.1 of iheartradio, it causes the phone to reboot if you open and stream via that app.

I haven't had an issue with iheartradio use it everyday

So I got the update this morning, and went ahead and updated it. No problems with anything so far....
Except.....
For whatever reason, I decided to try for the update again and I got an error saying my phone had been tampered with. So I did what any IT guy would tell you to do and I turned it off and on. I noticed the unlocked lock icon on the galaxy s7 powered by Android screen. Now my phone is completely stock. But as I recall, that icon means the bootloader is unlocked. Maybe the update made it so that it can be unlocked now?
I'm a long time iPhone user so I could be wrong. Maybe someone should try unlocking the bootloader after the update.

Go into download mode (turn off phone, hold power, home, and volume up) and see if the Knox bit says 1, which means it is tripped. Also, https://idlekernel.com/twrp/heroqlte/3.0.2-0/ download tar from that and try and flash in Odin, if succesful, congradulations you are the first to have this.
