I recently updated to the rooted lollipop upgrade using the chainfire method. it had lags so I decided to go back to 4.4.2. I made an error by flashing stock 4.4.2 and now my phone is bricked in boot loop. can anyone help me to restore my phone please. The recovery system status says custom.

Hello guys,
I was able to successfully updated to JB 4.1.2 BhekBhek ROM from ICS, after rooting and installing CWM. Unfortunately the phone never booted up due to some error resulting into a boot loop. I was able to deal with the boot loop issue and up date the phone at the same time by installing v20d JB 4.1.2 using KDZ software updater. I have tried rooting the phone using a number of methods but to no success. I thus don't have SuperSU installed and the phone isn't rooted. Please help! What should I do to re-root the phone again?

I finally managed to root the phone... I was surprised on how easy it was. I used Kingo Android ROOT. You can get the Kingo Root .exe from the official Kingo Android Root official website.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-I545 NC5 4.4.2 Kitkat on Verizon Wireless, the device is rooted and running a custom kernel with Ktweaker. I attempted to install a new rom (Cyanginemod 10.2 stable) using Safestrap custom recovery. The phone didn't take the rom so no biggy however the backup wouldn't restore. Now the device won't even enter any form of recovery or download mode only display the Samsung logo. I have already tried flashing the stock firmware and pit md5 file on the device using the latest version of Odin. No success only corrupted data and a lost system backup.

There might be a way to get back stock recovery but if not just go back to stock.

Just a suggestion. Maybe post this in the correct forum. You posted this in the VZW S3 forum
You should be able to flash it back to stock via Odin
