[Q] How to re-root LG L5 E615 - General Questions and Answers

Hello guys,
I was able to successfully updated to JB 4.1.2 BhekBhek ROM from ICS, after rooting and installing CWM. Unfortunately the phone never booted up due to some error resulting into a boot loop. I was able to deal with the boot loop issue and up date the phone at the same time by installing v20d JB 4.1.2 using KDZ software updater. I have tried rooting the phone using a number of methods but to no success. I thus don't have SuperSU installed and the phone isn't rooted. Please help! What should I do to re-root the phone again?

I finally managed to root the phone... I was surprised on how easy it was. I used Kingo Android ROOT. You can get the Kingo Root .exe from the official Kingo Android Root official website.

[Q] Stock Recovery Problemsim

im having problems with my asus transformer b90. i was rooted and just running stock but all of a sudden i lost root (i rooted with razorclaw) my stock recovery is also not working, i turn it into the recovery, then the android shows up with the cogs, but soon after the screen turns into an android with a caution sign. any help or suggestions on what to do?
Did you update firmware? That might explain why you lost root.
As for "Stock recovery" what are you trying to do? The stock recovery
doesn't do much except scan for an "update" and apply it.
I finally got root back using the nachoroot method and i installed cwm so no more stock recovery. By the way i was trying to use the stock recovery to downgrade to .19 to try and root with razorclaw. thank you

Custom rom and OTA are very different things. For installing a custom rom, you'll need a custom recovery, for a custom recovery you'll need to unlock your bootloader first. You CAN'T unroot your phone if its hung in a boot loop.
You can download the stock firmware HERE
Thank You for replying
I have downloaded the stock firmware and i have tried installing it but that is where the problem occurs the phone says that it is an OTA update package and cannot resume the download because the phone is rooted.

Trouble loading TWRP and CWM

Simple question, or so it seems. How can I install TWRP?
I just replaced my LG G2 D800. I figured I'd keep it and root it. I've bricked it twice. All of my problems have centered on installing a custom recovery after rooting successfully. Currently I'm on Kit Kat D80020c rooted. My past efforts have resulted in the secure boot error problem, total bricking, and only being able to boot into TWRP. I've tried both loki and Autorec to install TWRP. Both failed repeatedly. I'm in the middle of a failed Autorec install right now. The time I managed to install TWRP I was on Jelly Bean 10c. That was the one where TWRP became the only thing that worked. Every time I failed I managed, one way or another, to reflash a stock image either with LG Flash Tool or with SRT.
Finally rooted my G2 D800
Finally succeeded with Chainfire's FlashFire. Don't know why it worked. I was able to flash TWRP and Lineage OS and am now putting together my DLNA client/music player. My first Android device was a Samsung Galaxy player. It was also the first thing I rooted. The G2 has a bigger display and slightly more flexible audio.
