the screen lock pattern won't work

Oh yeah.. Guys. I found a weird thing with my phone and I need help. I am running ADW launcher EX and even after uninstalling etc, the screen lock pattern won't work. It only appears once when I reboot my phone and when I turn off the screen and turn it back on, it just brings me to the page I left without the screen lock pattern. Anyone knows what's wrong??

Thanks for the understanding.. I know all you guys were great from the start! Btw, I need help with my phone. My Unlock pattern won't show up and it's bothering me. It will only appear when I boot up the phone and for the rest of the time, it won't appear when I turn on my screen and it brings me straight to my home page. Do you guys know what's the problem?

Damn, thanks. I looked at it and found out it was set to 30 minutes.

I have a problem with my phone that I can't seem to find a solution for. Every single rom that I have flashed to my phone always ends up with a disappearing lockscreen. No matter what I choose, whether it is pattern unlock, pin unlock, etc eventually after maybe 2 or 3 unlocks and relocks the screen to enter the pattern or pin disappears and all I have left is an emergency call option at the bottom of the screen. And the only way to get it working (for a while) is to pull the battery. I properly wipe the phone before flashing but I haven't been able to stop it from happening.
Any help would be appreciated

sounds like your running sky ics there is a known issue with that check the forum with BRUNO's repsonses you will find the answer there

[Completed] [Q] Need help bypassing lock screen on Samsung t599

Hello. My son passed away last month suddenly, and I am trying to gain access to his cell phone, (I want to see his texts) a Samsung T599, with T-mobile service. It has a lock screen enabled, alpha-numeric, and I've spoken to t-mobile a couple of times, and they can see no away to bypass the lock screen without knowing the code.
I do have access to my son's google account, but unlike some I posts I have read on other forums, after attempting five password attempts, no "reset using google account" button appears. If I could reset using his google account, I'd be all set up, as I have access to that. I've tried accessing Device Manager on his Google account, someone said I could lock the phone, and set a new lock screen code remotely, but that Lock button is not seen. The phone is located on a map, but rather than having a Lock or Erase" button, it says 'Setup Lock and Erase." I click that, and asks if I want to send a setup notification to the phone. I click yes, but nothing happens. I can't access the Lock feature from Device Manager.
I read on another forum that I might be ably to bypass the lock screen by downloading a certain zip file to a micro-SD card, insert the card into the phone, and then enter reset mode or something like that, by pressing the on button, up volume and home key simultaneously. I was able to do that, browse to the zip file, start it, but then I get an error, something about being "unsigned."
I'm really hoping someone can help me here. It's very important that I gain access to the phone, without doing a master reset. Thanks for any and all help.

[Completed] Protected apps pattern lock not working in yu yureka.

Lately i have not been able to open protected apps with the pattern lock i set. The lock just appears twice and even after drawing the correct unlock pattern, it wont open. It just goes back to the home screen. I even tried resetting my home to factory settings. Aftet that the lock worked for a couple of times and then again the same problem. Can anybody throw some light on this? That will be very helpful.
P.S. i cant find any particular app that might have caused this and i dont have any external app lock on my yureka.

Fingerprint and backup lockscreen are taking time to unlock

I am facing difficulty on my PK1 deodexed rom while trying to unlock the screen. After swiping my finger, ut won't unlock and won't give any reason, just stuck. When i try using the backup password, keyboard won't come up for me to type my password until i lock/unlock with power button and change my keyboard back and forth multiple times before working.
I have checked for possible solution online, cleared cache and wiped data on both app manager and Titanium backup app.
Please any information will be gladly appreciated.

Solved!!!
I was able to solve it after troubleshootibg by myself.
Found out its peel remote notification causing it. On the lock screen, the remote icon is always visible and accessible. I turned off its notification and viola, fingerprint and password now working as they should.
