modaco: switch for galaxy s4..what are your thoughts please share!!!

Great news, was envious when I seen this on the HTC One, it will be great to change so easily between vanilla and touchwiz on the S4.

something like that , motorola (droid maxx) have it from a long time , it's time also for samsung to bring this feature to all of as
GO Samsung !!!!!!!!!!

Will this be available for octa version too ??

On their funding page they only mention the i9505.

I don't think so. I think it's only for phones with Google Edition versions because you have the same kernel for tw and ge rom.

Of course it will, just a matter of time. The Google edition s4 has already received the update and so the standard version will follow, it just takes longer for Samsung to update the Touchwiz framework. There may be an additional delay if your s4 is a carrier/network branded version.

on the modaco forum it says the ROM is only for the GSM version.
So does that mean it will or won't work on the i9505?

It has been built for the i9505, in the forum soneone asked about cdma and Paul responded with the below:
'A CDMA version isn't planned, what IS planned however is making Switch available to all ROM devs.'

features that u listed is only specially made for touchwiz roms and framework. and i dont ever think that it is possible to port it over to cm11 or any aosp roms.

****htc one m8 port rom***

HEY GUYS I PORTED THE HTC ONE M8 ROM FOR THE AT&T GALAXY S4 i337 ONLY!!!
To install my rom you need to install Safestrap-JFLTEATT-3.71.apk which you can download Moderators NOTICE: Links are suspended until we have a chance to review more closely, this is just precautionary step, to prevent the less informed/skilled members from inadvertently bricking their device. After installing reboot into safestrap 3.71
Create a ROM SLOT
Install the htc one m8.zip
wipe cache and dalvik
Then Reboot and that's it!
AFTER YOU BOOT INTO SENSE 6 REPORT ME BACK ANY ISSUES YOU HAD WITH THE ROM SO I CAN FIX IT IN THE NEXT BUILD!
If you are having problems with mediafire try MEGA
SPECIAL THANKS TO @Hashcode for providing the links for safestrap lol @LlabTooFeR for allowing me to use his rom to port it to the galaxy s4

Sadly doesnt work on galaxy s4 9505 , status 7 error , would be nice to gife it a try .. Thanks anyway for your work.

Yeah so how it wouldn't boot on my note 3 but it booted up fine for the galaxy s4

Im on the Canadian version, did you safestrap the kernel?

I notice that @LastStandingDragon has posted about the M7. I hope they would be able to help out with Data n WiFi issue

So at&t roms are totally different to i9505? Coz used note 2 and could flash at&t roms so long you flash kernel for the international version
