This is great news, and it is a step closer, the N900 kernel will follow...

Absolute noob here but will this make note 3 specific features such as air command and screen resize be available to AOSP cm11 roms?

features that u listed is only specially made for touchwiz roms and framework. and i dont ever think that it is possible to port it over to cm11 or any aosp roms.

Which model of Galaxy S2 Plus do you own?

To get an overview of our user base it would be very kind of you if you could vote for your owned device. Unofficial CyanogenMod built for GT-I9105P was out for a while and has bugs. But it seemed to work on our GT-I9105P. I don't know if someone with GT-I9105 tried it yet - saw no comments about it and thread is closed.
Because skullface retired from the project we are currently trying to continue his work and hope you join us. I already started with a kernel tree and now I'm sitting at device tree for GT-I9105 and GT-I9105P.
i currently studying the guides in how to cook a rom,it's quite difficult for me as i have no experience in ms command or those code, but i'm learning btw,im using the non-nfc version

[Q] Kernel for BLN/ButtonLED ??

hey out there,
i think evereybody in this forum knows that the Samsung Galaxy SII+ (I9150p) has no notificationLED.
As a former HTC user, i loved the notificationLED!!!!
For now i use the App NoLED, but it sucks much akku an is still bugy!
so i started seacing arround and found the mod BLN and the app ButtonLED
But for both you need a Kernel witch is supporting this.
so here my question: Is anybody out there, who can build such a kernel ???
I'am willing to help as much as i can!!! (but it wont be much! couse i don't have programing skills)
Love and peace

My kernel will have BLN control but needs testing. I'm having a bunch of errors compiling because i don't know the device codename of GT-I9105P
for example
S Avance = janice
Nexus 4 = mako
Galaxy Nexus = maguro
GT-I9105P = ???
this would be awesome!!! thx for the fast awnser !
found this in another treat! device codename should be : "s2vep"

Ok, mate. Just in case, the codename for i9105 is s2ve
Wondering if there's a lot of difference between the P and non-P because the discontinued Cyan port that skullface made for the P works on my phone.

I9070 roms work on i9070p just changing a folder and losing nfc. You have the same but reverse for s2 plus. It works because the difference is just nfc files to load nfc module. I9105 doesn't care about that files so having them or non having them is the same

MIUI for Xperia L

Now that we have almost bug free CMs, AOSPA, is there anyone who's developing MIUI ROM for our phone. I know nothing of developing, but I would really love to have this ROM and maybe I can learn and contribute to the project too. I'm expecting replies to this post. Please please someone develop MIUI
man i've been sayin that for ever..i really hope that there is someone porting it to xl..there are many roms now and they have official support but i think they are all similar and the miui is the most unique one..
Sent from my C2105 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i disagree with you @man_77
miui not most unique one
every ROM is unique !
i didn't see yet miui builded from source for an device it just ported
Can you give me miui source code link on github ?
i searched but didn't find anything
Sent from my C2105 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
David is right. MIUI is closed-source. All they provide are porting guides and prebuilt stuff on their Github account. Also many strings aren't even properly translated (so many things are in Chinese or English).
Gesendet von meinem Xperia Z mit Tapatalk
well could it be ported from a sony device that already have miui like xperia sp??
shouldnt be easier?
and about if it's unique or not..sure every rom has it features..and the fact that it only can be ported makes it kinda unique

You can try to build it from miui kitkat patch rom.
https://github.com/abielzuliom
This guy trying to do that but he got many errors .. Contact to him
First and formost.
MIUI v5 is based on the JB so we cannot port this rom to CM11 or AOSP 4.4. I tried it few months back but without success. There is no MIUI rom v5 based on KK so don't go for it. Either we need CM10.1 or AOSP 4.2 to successfully port that rom.
Secondly,
In case of MIUI v6. There is high chances of success as MIUI 6 is based on KK but its not publicly available yet. Its on closed beta and will be available to numbers of devices soon. So have patience guys. We will have miui on our XL soon. But we need to wait abit more.
That's not true at all. MIUIv5 can be based on JB and KK.

There is miui v5 kitkat -based (Google it )
but the bad thing it is for a few device
Now miui v6 released with fully new ui
But don't know yet which devices will be supported (to know if we can port it or not )
i take look at patchROM
i don't think it is good idea
anyway i think we must wait to see the supported devices first
