It boots into os fine.. Well for about a min and than reboots. Just started to do this and have never had an issue with opo.. I have wiped system, dalvic and caches. Would a factory reset fix this?
After looking around I tried the persist.IMG fix through TWRP and still have the reboots. I don't know???

You flashed persist.img with TWRP? It's meant to be flashed with fastboot.

Not necessarily, not if it isn't a ROM problem (which very often isn't), if that's the case flashing a ROM won't help in the slightest. Also, when wiping to try to fix an issue like this you'd need to wipe data as well as system and the caches.
Oooh nooo.. Says I have no baseband or imei.. Bricked or what?
Not bricked, but corrupt EFS. Did you make a backup of your EFS?

Have u checked u r IMEI is it ok? If no u have messed up with efs partation and there will be no IMEI so no network no signal
Have u using custom recovery? If yes have u backed up u r efs partation There are Custom TWRP that have options to back up efs partation
If u have backup with efs then restore it all will be fine
If u don't have backup then there will be lots of problem
Firstly u have revert back to stock cm11s to avoid constant reboot

No.. Like a dummy I have lost my back up.
Still possible to fix, it is more work but it is possible. First try to flash 02 or h20 rom it has fixed this issue for some people, I had a similar problem that I tried the more complicated fixes on but I could never get LTE to work them tried flash h20 rom and it ended up working. Or look in the forums for recover lost IME I followed those steps. You can get your original IME from google dashboard under android devices.
That's good to know. I will try flashing those before I go with the other ones. The one that seems to have had the most luck was the one o eplus one touchcscreen zip. I know it was ment for the touchscreen bit people say it will fix the imei problem. I also put a ticket in at OnePlus but if I can fix it than why not. Thanks for the reply
I also had that issues with lost imei. I found a folder with my efs backup 2 days later. Nothing else helped my case..
Try to flash coloros and h2o roms using fastboot.

Restore backup don't work.
I installed S5670XXKPU, I go in Android system recovery > wipe data/factory reset and got this:
Confirm wipe of all user THIS CAN NOT BE UNDONE.
After I go on Yes - delete all user and got this:
Appling Muti-CSC
-Wiping data...
Formating /data...
Formating /cashe...
Data wipe complete.
I go on reboot system now.
Appears logo with the music, then on the display writes SAMSUNG, then the logo again, but without music and so constantly.
y do u go to recovery to wipe data and cache???flashing a new firmware means data and cache is automatically wiped.just flash kpu using odin and then let it reboot on its own.data and cache get wiped on it own.
secondly i flash firmware with 4 files like kpi first and then flash firmware with 1 package.otherwise it dont boot.
maybe u can try to re-flash frimware via odin
When I restarted system, appears the yellow text and in the bottom reads: Can not mount / data Rebooting ...

Yes, I do u go to recovery to wipe data and cache. I flashed new firmware via ODIN.
The problem remains the same.
now i know your problem.
first flash a firmware like kpi which has 4 files like csc, boot, code and phone.
then flash kpu on that which has only one file using one package.and done.
dont wipe data and cache after that
maybe u should try another baseband, and do wipe data/cache after and before flashing frimware via odin
Try this:
-Download any of the custom ROMs you like from the development section.
-Copy to SD Card
-Boot into recovery
-Mounts&Storage>>Format /system
-Clear data&cache
-Install ZIP
-Reboot
It should work now.

We installed SenseDroid...
Stock ROM installed. It worked for me too. Thanks man.
try installing "stock rom" via odin and after that wipedata reboot the system.....
I'll try to remember the steps of what happened as best I can.
T989 All Stock Running Gingerbread (Not sure what Firmware)
1)Installed CWM via ODIN
2)nstalled SuperUser via CWM
3)Installed latest AOKP from here http://aokp.co/devices/hercules
Booted up just fine but two problems
1: No Service
2: Touch screen calibration was WAY OFF
BYAM DURP OOPS
Realized that I needed to get the latest Firmware before flashing the latest AOKP!
4)Full Wipe(I think?)
5)Install latest Firmware (T989UVMC6, right?) (Also did a factory reset/wipe)
Phone boots into Stock with latest firmware, however the touch screen is still calibrated way off!
Do steps 1-3 above again.
Touch screen calibration is still way off!
My only guess on the reason/fix for this is that maybe this is still some lingering problem of flashing the ROM on the outdated firmware, so I need to perform some sort of deeper wipe than just a Full Wipe via ClockWorkMod in order to get rid of any lingering problems. And then flash the latest firmware, and do steps 1-3 above.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Any other information needed?
Thanks in advance!

I've done wipes like this
Via CWM I do the Factory Reset/Full wipe, then cache and dalvik cache.
Is there a way to more deeply wipe?
I saw in some other places that you can mount some locations and also wipe those too, I assume maybe doing that will result in a "fuller" wipe and also wipe the firmware too?
Care to explain exactly how I should be wiping?
Also after doing the wipe, do I just flash latest firmware, install CWM/root, and then a ROM?
Thanks

Formatted data, system, cache, and emmc.
Did Factory Wipe/Reset, Wiped cache and Dalvik cache.
Used ODIN to flash T989UVMC6, and still the touch screen is not calibrated properly.
However (I've seen other people report that problem but haven't seen a fix) when the phone is plugged in, it works just fine, but whenever it is unplugged the touch screen very unusable due to being calibrated so wrong. :/ After wiping and formatting everything and flashing a stock Firmware I'm all out of hope now!

My Oukitel's k4000 Touch Screen Calibration Messed Up After Flashing ROM on Wrong ROM
Hello,
Please help me. I tried to see if a ROM for 'Oukitel k4000 pro' could fit 'Oukitel k4000'.
Since it didn't work out, I flashed back to the original ROM of 'Oukitel k4000', but since then, my screen behaves wrongly to touches.
Could anyone faced and managed to beat this issue?
I saw several different posts on the net, but none of them actually helped me.
One more thing:
Please try to explain, as if you explaining a child, since my android experience is not that vast to follow all the shortcuts and proffecional terms.
Thank you,
Michael
Hi ,guys .
So my problem is the first boot (on my p3110 )takes an eternity , whatever I'm trying to flash it wouldn't succesfully have the first boot .
I've tried omni, slimkat and CM but nothing works .
Dumb I was ,in my blind tries, I've deleted my backups and now the only place i can flash is my microSD card.
Help please , I'm really stuck . :crying:

The first boot always takes longer as it is setting up, but no longer than ~5 minutes.
Anyway... If you've waited and it is boot looping, try these steps:
Make sure your recovery is up to date.
Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik cache.
Flash ROM, gapps, and any addons
Wipe cache and dalvik
Reboot. After first reboot is complete and on setup screen, wait 5 minutes and reboot into recovery.
Wipe cache and dalvik again. Reboot
This reboot could also take ~5 minutes, but the others shouldn't as long as you don't wipe cache and dalvik.
You should see an "Android is Upgrading" screen. After this is done, complete setup and you should be good to go.

Always format /system, /cache, /data/media first when installing different roms. Good luck

Stock rom is working fine? Is root working on stock?
Did you get any errors while flashing costom roms?
I remember a folk here got a same problem as you, and i think it's not resolved yet..
Maybe you and him have a "special" devices.
Don't worry, it's not a problem with your ext-sd because i use it all the time. and if it was ext-sd problem, you'll get an error while flashing.
I suggest messages devs in developement section, maybe they can figure out what is wrong.
And of course i think it's not safe to restore others nandroid backup, so don't mind find it.

Like I said earlier, you should have flashing stock rom first to remove root via odin/hemidall.. you can find it at sammobile, com
then re-root with link i gave earlier again via odin/hemidall, and format in recovery like i said earlier. no wonder you still fail..
you should have philz touch recovery instead cwm if you succeed.

constantly resetting the modem was reading vision problems because you use the most recent of which was rum that you can install on your phone sim card again receive the modem's ROM will improve again

What happened to me, i was flash hydrogen os came from blisspop, but not for long i restore my blisspop from twrp recovery, restore success but no sim card detected and havin a constant reboot, wifi keep on disconect and phone hot as hell. Already try flashing another rom aicp, rr, mahdi etc and changing fw, twrp version, gapps, restore backup kk lp rom but still all fail still no sim and reboot. But last rom im on before my opo was back normal, is kk 44s, that version not having a constant reboot dont know why, not like 05Q that keep on rebooting. Confuse and depressed then i found a guy with some case like me. I try to restore my efs backup using bacon root toolkit and suddenly my sim card detected and signal came back, all normal and not having reboot anymore. Try flashing another rom and all normal again no problem at all. Kk 44s im on was calkulins rom. Im not restoring 44s since i only have 05Q backup in twrp. So i flashed 44S from calkulins
Calkulins kk 44s

I flashed rom by marionette.
Does the sound work properly on a stock rom? Did you post your question on the rom thread?

Before sound was working perfectly no issue. Yes i post my prob on rom thread no one reply.
Somewhere i read that factory reset can solve problem but ibdont want to rest my phone. Is there any othe possible solution for this ??
Maybe reflash the same rom over the existing rom without wiping data? Or create a backup using twrp, reflash, and restore data?

Thanks so much .. Just let me know i have backup of old rom 5.0 can i go back to stock just flashing backup by twrp or i need to use anyother method??
If you backed up your old ROM using TWRP, you can restore it using TWRP. Before restoring, I recommend wiping the system, cache, and data. Just make sure you have a back up of your data somewhere in case something goes wrong.
