Widgets or icons? What would auto-adding widgets mean - all of them, 1 of them? Could you post the relevant screenshot please? I'm abroad and my phone doesn't have Wi-Fi at the moment.

All it does is add the icon to your homescreen from what I've saw.

Looks like they just renamed it from home screen icon from last build...I am not seeing widgets added when I add new apps, just gets the icon placed. I tried with HD Widgets and Beautiful Widgets and just gave me the icons for them

I wasn't able to install it as direct apk file. When it installed in created a non system app com.vending-1.apk. Was able to manually move to system app and renamed to Vending.apk and correct permissions. All seems good now. Thanks for the update.

where did you get that from? those have been in prior builds starting at 3.1.1 IIRC

hi, i can't install the market. i used the method like renaming etc, but after i did all the market isnt in the launcher. my system is a aosp ics beta @ galaxy s 1.

Fake Operator
Fake Operator is a Cydia Substrate tweak for Android and iOS. To my knowledge it works on all Android 4.0+ devices (except Sense based ROMs). The point of this tweak is to easily change your operator name without having to touch XML files.
This is an open source tweak and you can view the code on github the public version is available on the Play Store please install Cydia Substrate first. The release on the Play Store currently on supports GSM devices a beta version is attached to the post that supports GSM and CDMA devices. If you have any suggestions please let me know, once the CDMA beta is complete i intend on tidying up the code base and working on 'automatic' updates when settings are changed.
The source can be found on the NSPwn Github, XDA currently won't allow me to link so sorry this post is a wall of text.

Installation
Install Cydia Substrate from the Play Store
Open Substrate and grant it root permissions and follow all prompts
Install the latest beta APK from the list bellow
Open Fake Operator and configure as desired
Open Substrate (it will notify you the list of tweaks has changed)
Soft reboot the device / restart zygote
Enjoy!

Well, in my experience (at least on the CDMA side), the operator banner is normally stored somewhere in the NV folder as the only way (that I know of) to change it is by using a CDMA programming tool (such as dft or Revskill...).
HTC is funny like that
The only other thing that I can think of is that it is somewhere in the Sense framework as I do believe that this can be changed with ViperTweaks in some devices.

Found out why you may experience crashes on android <4.2
CDMA fix is complete also improved how often the launcher will be informed of changes will fix GSM in the next few hours then post a new build.

The last beta i posted is bugged i'm currently working on a 'true' fix. It doesn't seem to like my new reflection helpers :/

Unfortunalety there are a few typos in french translation, could you share xml files from values and values-fr folders and i will fix them for you.
