Hi guys, today i got my lg optimus 7.
Got back home, wired the phone and logged in Zune.
Started Mango's update....
After a while, during Installation n°2 step 9 of 10 (rebooting phone)
my lg got stuck on LG logo and no way to boot it.
i have waited 25 mins, after that unplugged the phone, tried an hard reset.
I got "Cold boot" on the phone screen but it wont reboot and start up.
Do u have some advice?
Btw tomorrow i will go back to the shop and really hope they will change it.... damn it

Hello,
I had latest PA, Uber kenel and Multirom installed. Suddenly my phone reboots and keeps to reboot. Only MultiRom is accessible for a greater amount of time. But reboots to, as well as fastboot and recovery does not even start.
Can someone please help me? :/ I would really appreciate an answer.
Return to stock. See if it still happens. First step in troubleshooting potential hardware issues

Try to get to bootloader from multirom which i believe is a modified twrp so tap reboot and then bootloader and tell us what it says or if its just a normal bootloader screen

May be the power button is stuck?? Try pressing it hard a few times and see if it loosens up??

I cant return to stock because it keeps rebooting, so bootloader did not work too.
But @vin4yak was right button was stuck! And everything is back to normal. But thank you all for your quick replies
Hi All,
I was forced to activate the encryption of the phone due to some changes on the mail system.
But now I don't know how to log into the TWRP , I would lile to flash the new nightly but during the restart in recovery mode, it asks the password . I use a sign in 4X4 mode while TWRP propose me a code 3x3 .
I wanted to know if there is any way to change the code setting to 4x4 or otherwise be able to flash the rom easily .
TWRP only supports 3x3 sequence code

Hi,
Thanks for you reply.
Is there a way to change the setting on the phone from 4X4 to 3X3?

Try the safe mode:
1. With the device powered on, press and hold the Power button (located on the right edge) until the Phone options prompt appears then release.
2. Touch and hold Power off until the Reboot to Safe Mode prompt appears then release.
3. Tap RESTART.
-The restart process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
- Upon restart, Safe mode appears in the lower-left of the unlock/home screen.
4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.

systemui and TW are 2 different things
TW is the launcher, that will work fine.
Systemui will not, im surprised it even let you install it to be honest.

My firmware is the TPH (Portugal)
Systemui was a problem for me. I fixed. I just get in the configuration and change the stock theme for another one. Use the blink to get to the configuration ---> theme

Hi guys, I really need someone to help me. I was going to perform an hard reset through recovery on a Samsung s8 plus, but as soon as I pressed the 3 button combo it has started to boot over and over again. It basically shows the Samsung logo then a blue screen saying installing system updates but instead of going into recovery mode it does the same all over again. I can access download mode but I don't know where go find the right firmware. Also I can't turn it off so I'm basically stuck into download mode and I don't even know if it gets charged this way...

It does charge slowly. Go to updato.com or sammobile.com and get your model and carriers latest firmware and flash in odin. Ive been in this situation on my US s8.
