thanks a lot ,
but tow little question,
1- (my phone unlock) after root and install custom rom example cm12,
my network and WiFi, Will stay active or maybe need to unlock again ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-hd/general/root-droid-razr-hd-xt926-183-46-15-t3062040
2- if this method not work (1%) , and if i need to flash this stock rom ,
how can i create full backup form my stock rom before rooting?
you know for backup we need root accesses
so how can i create backup form original rom ?
thanks :good:
Attaining root and bootloader unlocking are two separate things. While you can attain root, you cannot unlock bootloader and hence are stuck on the stock ROM that came preinstalled in your phone and will not be able to flash any custom ROMs like CM12.1

Hi I'm new here.
My phone:
Xperia l starry black,
Model no - c2104
Build - 15.0.a.2.17 (India generic)
My question:
I'm new to the android os, only got my first android device 3 weeks before. I recently tried to root my phone. backed up my ta, partially rooted it , unlocked bootloader...and this is where I messed up. I'm unaware of the fact that you need to flash the stock Rom after bootloader unlock process or the device will get stuck at loading screen (coloured waves). So, when I came to know about it, I downloaded and accidentally flashed newest Rom a.2.17
for which there were no prerooted kernel available therefore no full root. Now my questions
1. Is there any full root method available for the latest firmware?
2. If not full root, is there any partial root method available ? keep in mind that my device bootloader was unlocked and most of the tutorials describes about partial root (with which you can't edit system files) based on locked bootloader..
3. If not above two, can I reflash the stock a.1.31 (older firmware) for which prerooted kernel was available by rachit..
I like going with 1 or 3 solutions (if they were answered)
so guys please help me..all I wanted is a full rooted phone..
Only way I've found that works for full root on .17
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44647265&postcount=19
download both files and follow the instructions and you'll have full root.

ok im finally full rooted now ,,
what i did for the full root :
1 backed up ta
2 partially rooted with motochopper
3 unlocked the bootloader
4 flashed the new 2.17 rom (cuz stuck at the loading screen after bootloader unlock)
5 now the bootloader is unlocked. again used the motochopper, this time by doing so it will full root the phone..(i didnt use rebootpatch or anything cuz i can uninstall and edit system files n anythin and my device wont reboot at all)
I am brand new to the forums, to give you a little backround on my self. I am pretty much noob when it comes to tinkering with android phones, yet did root a galaxy s2 years back running voodoo custom rom, but sadly since then was not interested. I have good exp when it comes to's computers and have done some minor programming. So now to what I have been trying to do is root my old moto g 2013 gen 1 boost mobile lolli 5.1 installed. (Bootloader is unlocked) I have followed guides via google for 5.0 lolli but have not seen one for 5.1. I have been unsuccessfull on rootting this phone, any help would be awesome

Should be the same regardless of version.
You need the motorola drivers for your computer, adb and fastboot (search for Minimal ADB and Fastboot), custom recovery (search for TWRP) and SuperSU - https://download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu/
Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable, copy SuperSU to the internal storage of your phone.
Reboot your phone into fastboot mode and flash recovery using:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img <-- name of image that you downloaded and placed into the Minimal ADB and Fastboot directory.
Reboot your phone into recovery and then select Install from TWRP and install SuperSU.
There are lots of guides with more detail, check the Moto G General forum.

So just to clarify, I have a 6045I factory global unlocked from Amazon, It has never been rooted, bootloader unlocked, nothing. So would I place on SD and apply update through stock recovery, or is there a different method? Really just want root for adaway and xposed. TWRP would be nice, but not necessary. Just don't want a new paperweight. Thanks!
Can i install twrp to flash thid or stock is fine?
You can try windroid toolkit v3.1.
First u have to unlock bootloader then to flash recovery and supersu .
For me it is not recognising my phone hope u will get success.
If try then pls share ur experience.

I'd run a full virus /malware scan.... I use 360 Security on mobile devices and PC's. It, along with SUPERAntiSpyware has served me well.

Well the obvious choices are:
1) Use mobile Q to restore to 5.0.2...unlock bootloader, install twrp....upgrade to marshmallow using the modified update.zip that doesn't wipe recovery and finally root using the file mentioned.
or
2) Live with it as it is until someone figures out how to restore fastboot which will probably still require downgrading.

That's the problem. This phone is totally stock with nothing done but the update. I literally charged it, turned it on and 20 minutes later 6.0.1 was nagging for install, which I did. There is now the OEM unlock switch in developing options, but I don't know where to start, or flash.

You must go back to 5.0 to install and then update it because in 6.0.1 update Removes Fastboot commands so you can't install it twrp....
I have a problem with rooting 6039Y on rom 6.0.1 by persona78. Stock rom 5.0.2 and root working fine. When i flash via TWRP after the update to MM i get this message:
-Cheking patch status
---Already patched, attempting to find stock backup
---Stock restore failed, attempting ramdisk restore
---Ramdisk restore failed, aborting
This solution - echo SYSTEMLESS=true >> /data/.supersu - not working.
Phone was simlock removed via furiousgold, maybe this is a problem?
Alcatel one touch idol 3 (5.5) 6045Y
i have this model Alcatel one touch idol 3 (5.5) 6045Y

Still no solution to rooting stock MM 6045I?
Hope this helps someone
I know this thread is dead, but replying so people can find the information easier.
I used this guide to flash twrp then used twrp to root on stock 6045O 6.0.1.
LG K10 | Android Version: 6.0.1 | Android Security Patch Level: 2016-08-01 | Kernel Version: 3.10.49 | Build Number: MMB29M | Software Version: MS42810d
I have been trying to root this damn phone for weeks. I have tried the following:
iRoot - Fails with no explanation
King-root - Fails with no explanation
Kingoroot - Fails with no explanation
FramaRoot - I run the app and it does nothing but prompt me to install - SuperSU and then that fails.
Root Geneus - Unlike the others ones, this one rebooted the phone twice and looked like it was rooting the device. Finally, it gave the message "Your phone is so solid to root.
XposedInstaller_3.1.1.apk - Failed to achieve root access. Makes sure the device is rooted properly and has not blocked shell commands.
Ideas?
Non of these can root 6.0 , firstly unlock bootloader, then flash twrp for your device and flash superSu to get root access.
You was lucky otherwise you may brick your phone.

I am sorry to be a ninny, but how do I unlock bootloader? How do I flash twrp? Is there a url with explicit instructions that I can refer too?
Do Google about unlocking bootloader. Suggested link ....please make sure about this method.

I appreciate the reply, but that site, although it does give a walkthru, provided links to auto root tools that is a scam for filling out endless offers.

hi, i was wondering if there is any method to obtain root access on the wiko life 3, it is on a Mediatek MT6739 Chipset. The bootloader is locked, and there is no option for oem unlocking in developer settings. i have access to a computer and ADB and fastboot obviously
This tool can unlock the bootloader on many Mediatek powered devices: https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
It doesn't really play nice with Windows though so I recommend you use it on a Linux distro
