Lenovo Android 5.1 apps on aosp (Android open source project) works well,
Such as launcher (bug free)
Camera is partially broken
Gallery is broken (unmodified) there is still working Lenovo gallery apps out there
Lenovo clock (pretty much as aosp clock)
And probably some apps are dying such as gallery file manager and some theme browser for launcher fair enough though.

I'm pretty sure manual iso "works"at least its what the details is said after taking a picture.
Note the camera isn't taken from Sprint thread or by the other thread in general development hacking. If he use pxx Lenovo Camera from that Rom but afaik he's camera is working by default after install this doesn't. you'll need to copy lib files to lib to get it open.
However launcher and clock seems stable and seems to be installable by default. Not fully tested the clock though

In system/lib/
I was in quite a hurry when I wrote the op and didn't really have access to a computer and fixing a good op from phone takes some time.
Though clock and launcher should be installable oh and it does indeed work on stock rom I believe the the min sdk is from 19 or 21 [emoji14]

I like the smoothness of the launcher.
But is there no other workaround for the widget problem other than pushing this to system/app, which demands a rooted device?

It's cool to be able to click a link and go right to a pop up, but I'm just pointing out Note 4 stock internet browser can be put in to pop up in a couple ways.

lies its the stock browser opened in multiwindow as in it dont work without the stockbrowser. the legacy version premiered on the note 2 and was completely independent of the stockbrowser

HTC update its browser to work as standalone app so it could be update via play store but now other phone can use it
If you read a lot of webpages the Sense browser is by far the best. The rest still haven't figured out how to properly text wrap

What made the gallery app that way was because I've debloated too much apps. I haven't found out what exact app I've removed to make gallery app behave like this though.
Hi there, i'm on echoerom and I just made a factory reset.
After setting up my device I noticed i can't enter the gallery app unles I give it permissions on calendar. However when i try to give it permission, there is no option for calendar to be enabled. Please help.

This samsung gallery apk is s***.. Go with Piktures apk perfect galler.. Only problem is that another samsung s*** apk camera wont let you review picture straight form camra.. And then they ask why the f*** we need to root them phones?
hi, i had exactly the same issue and the only way to make the app work again was to use an older version from a XXU1APC8 firmware. uninstall the gallery and move this apk to priv-app, set the right permissions and reboot. should work afterwards.
