Then try with another package like TK-GApps (and another custom rom).
Definitely not hardware related.

I discovered this morning that the market will not allow me to download previously purchased apps unless I pay for them again.
Had zero issues when I first setup my phone after flashing the latest AOKP rom, but all of my purchases are showing as unpaid today.
I've cleared market data and rebooted, but no luck. Is this a Google problem or is it something I've done?
AOKP Build 22, Steve Garon's 1.14 kernel, 240dpi (was 220dpi).

Seems to have been a market issue. All purchases are now available.

And what? I typed that message and lived it unsent because I have a call, and then just pressed "submit", so I didn't know that author already solved his problem. Sorry for my English.

So I flashed the stock 4.4 rom (the nexus 5 port) onto my nexus 4. But the Facebook app keeps jumping.
I was just wondering if it's happening to others or if it's my ROM or Facebook not being optimised correctly or if there is some kind of known fix?
Thanks for your help in advanced

Did you try a another ROM? because stock 4.4 works fine with FB for me.
Also there is a Nexus 4 Section, it would be better if you post this there with more information : Like which ROM precisely.

Isn't there an issue with google play services at the moment? Not sure if it's related. Would probably get better responses with a proper thread title!

try deleting cache of google play services.
also, if you are using freedom, disable it

I went in and cleared the cache on the contacts. Not the data but just the cache and then a restart. It worked for me and it hasn't crashed in over a week. Oh and I have a Verizon Edge on kitkat.
i don't think anyone with a sprint note edge is on lollipop. it hasnt been released yet. i get it every once and a while myself
Most of the forced closed issues can be solved by either just clearing cache and data under application manager or at worst just do a clean factory reset. ...in my issues with loly apparently uninstalling google+ solved the issues. Kitkat owners can try this..may not help...but may be worth a try. .
