Android 4.4-Facebook badly optimised? - General Questions and Answers

So I flashed the stock 4.4 rom (the nexus 5 port) onto my nexus 4. But the Facebook app keeps jumping.
I was just wondering if it's happening to others or if it's my ROM or Facebook not being optimised correctly or if there is some kind of known fix?
Thanks for your help in advanced

Did you try a another ROM? because stock 4.4 works fine with FB for me.
Also there is a Nexus 4 Section, it would be better if you post this there with more information : Like which ROM precisely.

Stock Headphone Problem

Has anyone had issues with the volume buttons on their stock headphones not working?
They just quit on me one day. I'm running Infamous 3.4, but I don't think this would be a ROM issue and don't want to clutter the development thread unless that's a possibility.
Thanks.

This problem fixed itself when I flashed Alpha Rom 7.0 by Jamison... must have been a software issue in an earlier version.

you will need the proper framework/.lib files. cm uses its own camera app.
I know cm has its own camera app but I would like the stock one with photosphere .

Would it work with cm ?

You can always give it a shot. I stay away from cm because stock+ xposed has same features without the bugs.

Can't record videos in any app

Hi, I've just noticed that I am not able to record any videos on my Nexus 5, I have flashed a unstock camera app (which should still be for this rom - stock rom) would it be possible for someone to point me in the right direction for the stock camera, as I can't seem to find it.
Thanks in advance

- When you say, "flashed", do you mean "installed"?
- Did you uninstall the 3rd-party app?
- When you say, "can't find it", do you mean on the phone, or the apk on the net?
Sorry, I mean the apk on the Internet, and I flashed an unstock camera, not just installed an app

Note - I'm using stock Android 4.4.2

I've just installed Whatsapp to test and I've had no problems with typing while using the stock keyboard and also Swype keyboard. Tested on the latest Beanstalk.

well it happens when u use it for sometime if u have noticed it even shows the warning I even googled and it seems lot of ppl have the same problem

What warning is it showing? If it's a known issue with Whatsapp I'm not sure what you hope to achieve by posting in a device specific forum.

Having the same problem and more with WhatsApp on my Evita running Pacman KitKat 4/28 nightly. To be fair, the app warned me before installation about possible incompatibilities with custom roms...

Play services crashing if GPS's enabled.

I didnt notice this problem until recently, at first I used Carbon+Ex kernel, now Im using Optipop+Uber, but the problem's still there, even with different Gapps. Can this be a hardware proble

Then try with another package like TK-GApps (and another custom rom).
Definitely not hardware related.
