Release notes:
2015/12/2
As M is out, this would be the last build of Carbon-LP for our device. Thanks! Carbon Team, giving us such a good experience in Lollipop. See you in Marshmallow!
2015/9/30
Trebuchet crash on the last build. I didn't use trebuchet and dirty flash over the older build. Therefore I didn't find out. A new fixed build is uploadig now. Sorry for the troubles caused...
2015/9/29
In this build, I adjust the heap memory settings to make the system more responsive. Carbon follows CM to 5.1.1_r18 (LVY48F) now. Enjoy!
2015/9/5
In this build, I put the CPU and GPU O/C codes from M-kernel to the CM kernel. I've tested it with Trickster Mod and System Tuner. The max. freq. is set to 1.7G but my tab can only reach 1.6G. Anyway, I can get 22k in Antutu now. cheers!
PS. If you just want the kernel update, extract the boot.img from the zip and flash it in TWRP.
2015/8/12
Get bored with RR and my hard drive was dead. I'm glad that someone has taken over so I have time to give a shot to my favorite CaronROM.
This is the first release of CARBON-LP (LMY48G) for Nexus 7 (2012). cheers!

Awesome. Thanks for bringing this to our Tilapia.

Been using this ROM for 7 days...
This is by far the best 5.1.1 ROM for this device
I only wish battery would last a little longer

Thanks for keep alive our TILAPIA (GROUPER)
I am downloading it just now
I will try soon your rom as secondary on my multirom N7 3G
I am searching to fix a issue with MEDIASET PREMIUM app ...
I will come back asap
Paolo
EDIT1
Unfortunately the app MEDIASET PREMIUM doest not run well
I can open it bus it does not charge the contents .. it strangely remains blank

any support for F2FS? All-f2fs?

F2FS Tilapia
Hi, there.
I´m running this ROM on System ext4 and cache/data on f2fs. It´s not all f2fs but i´ve read in various forums that the merits of running system on f2fs are doubtful anyway.
The only problem i´m having so far is, settings crash whenever i try to access PIE. Anybody else with this glitch?
Great port!

I have tried Trebuchet and Nova launcher. PIE (SlimPIE) works on both. May be conflict with other app. Further info. is required.

Problem solved
Hi Daniel,
thanks for Your quick reply, but i´ve only now come around to answering. I´ve found the problem. It seems there was some "leftovers" from the last ROM that got my install messed up. I ref-flashed the factory image of 5.1.1 and installed Your ROM after that and everything is smooth now.
Thanks again,
Olli

How long does it last?
More than stock rom?
TY

i'm a bit late to the party here but just wanted to say this is easily the best rom i've used on my nexus. it's actually made it usuable again. only issue is battery life. lucky to get 24 hours, even in standby.

Battery draining like hell >.<. I spent 2 months to find out, but impossible.

help
rom not support f2fs?

Is it a stable or beta release?? Thank you!!!

Hey Community, so far there was no device tree for the combination tilapia/cm10.2 so i decided to do my own one as i still have tilapia and want to compile cm / cm based roms from source for it. So here it is.
Here u can download the ROM:
CM_10.2_200920_unofficial
Here u can download the GAPPS for 4.3: LINK
Device TREE :https://github.com/n3ocort3x/android_device_asus_tilapia
CHANGELOG (grouper, as no tilapia is official) :http://10.2.cmxlog.com/?device=grouper
Its tested and working. So lets enjoy JB4.3. I will build every now and then and update thread title. I cant say how often i will build at week, but I will.

Is it possible to enable Bluetooth-Tethering for the CM10.2 tilapia builds? On 10.1 this is not available and I don't know if this is a technical limitation or just a "forgotten" feature that needs to be enabled for tilapia devices.
Well done m8!

Good to now that someone has been able to build to tilapia , 5 minutes ago i has able to make a bootable build also . Already a month that i was trying (I'm not a developer ) .I used the 10.1 device tree with the 4.3 bloobs that i download from the aosp tree.
Installed and it's working like a charm!
Thank you!
Did anyone already tried to flash this over an official 10.1 build? Did your device catch fire or could you continue without a factory reset?
Yes please is any wipe needed or just flashing Rom and gapps?

The first one seems to be from RBMacGregor - that one hasn't been updated for almost a month now and some features seem to not work there, as users reported. The second is from this thread - more recent one and seems to work okay, so I guess safe to install
I do like CM so I flashed it today and haven't as yet found anything untowards. Thanks OP for it.

You shouldn't have to, but I would do it anyway. Luckily we have a nice sticky thread about that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175086
Currently we don't have vendor blobs and other external repos for tilapia. From where u sync the repos? Slim? Or?
Can u list what/where the repos in your local manifest?
Thanks
Are you guys going to merge your changes with the official CM repos or are you going to maintain your own unofficial builds?

[SUSPENDED] [ROM][4.4.2][Unstable][Linux 3.0.101 ION] OmniROM [24-jan]

Suspended for the time being, no point in having 3 omnirom's lol And i want to give more time to android alternatives like FFOS and ubuntu touch.

Sorry for the n00b question but if everything is like Sultan's CM11, what's the advantage of using this?

It's not CM11, it shares the bugs and kernel config as i forked sultan's sources and adjusted them a little bit for omnirom
A few reasons this is (to my opinion) better than CM11:
- More buttons, everyone should like that :3
- Non-commericial
- and some more, just try it!

Hope this is an early build, had lot of bugs *Bluetooth pairing up but unable to receive files
*Apps not downloading from Google play
*Quick settings tiles are not responsive
*Screen of animations not working
*Downloaded file manager from browser as the build doesn't have one(Google play can't download it)but when I tried to open it from downloads it says unable to open,so this is the major bug currently I'm unable to browse my files in this build, the only way is to add a file manager in the ROM zip.
*But the rom is quite smooth good work.
*Thanx for your support hope you look after these bugs as this is just a first build, waiting to get this stable

The only bug listed on the website is "selinux in permissive mode". (what does that mean??)

For me it's similar, but this is subjective ofc. I'm using phone for calling&texting, e-mail's, web; no games. Wi-Fi/LTE and bluetooth always on (smatband sync) + sometimes GPS navigation. That makes approx 2 days per charge - i had the same usage on MIUI. I didn't noticed UI/apps lags.

I don't know if many people tried this pac but it is really worth the try. Until cm13 gets more debuged, this is the best non miui ROM out there
Seems to be on par with CM 12.1 in terms of stability. Worth to try.
Yes, stable and smooth. More features compared to CM12.1
Looks like a very interesting ROM, will be my first choice after I give miui a shot when I get my mi4c.
pac-libra-LP-MR1-Unofficial-20160204-pac-5.1
Removed unneeded services
Use miui stable V7.1.6.0.LXKCNCK proprietary blobs
Sync 20160203 PAC-5.1-LP-MR1 pac-5.1 branch
IMO it's the best rom of all the ones available.
I love my mi4c even more with it.
Would prefer to see this one in marshmallow rather than CM...
Anyway thank you so much team superluminal for this.
And there will be good news soon...

I have to agree with you. I've been using Pac-Man Rom since the 1st release and it's pretty awesome tbh. And the most stable one I used, even better than miui. I don't really need the CM13 version, but I would rather LOVE to see kernel sources released so we can have a better development for this piece of work.

Attached you will find the SnapdragonCamera as a flashable archive. The source is from an russian host I've found via Google.
Boot into TWRP, flash the zip-file, clear the cache and reboot.
The app version is 2.0.002.
I've tested it after a clean installation of the latest PAC-rom "pac_libra_LP-MR1.Unofficial_20160204-083837.zip". It will probably also work with earlier releases and CM12.1.
Attention
1. It will replace the default standard Camera app of CyanogenMod.
2. I don't have much knowledge in this things. So try and use it on your own risk.

You can get it from here. http://www.teamsuperluminal.org/forums/topic/camera/
Is it work with Xiaomi 4c- 2g-16GB??
-Thanks
@chasemyass
The source is the following russian filehoster. Who uploaded it or in which forum it was posted isn't known. I found it yesterday as I was looking for needed arm64 libraries to get the camera working.
http://rghost.ru/7ZP9TX89x
@ermacwins
The linked version is for CM13. My version is tested for CM12.1.
@ngolebaoyen
Yeah, probably it will work. I think the only difference between 16GB and 32GB version is the memory. All other specs should be the same.
I've checked the archive and it contains the camera apk-file and two needed arm64-libraries.
The script itself deletes the default camera app, copies the new apk-file plus the libraries and links the libraries to get loaded. Just download the zip-file and open it with WinRar/7-zip/WinZip or any other compression tool.

I'm highly impressed with this version of CM13, definately the best so far.
Had AICP CM12 for ages, but thier CM13 is not so good.
Mine only FC's on exiting 'Sounds, Advanced Options' only.
'Cameringo' works perfectly for Camera app. Deleted stock camera.
Some system apps wouldn't uninstal with Bliss Settings, App Remover; had to use Titanium Backup.
No problems with Mobile Data, but WiFi was dodgy until I rebooted several times (typical CM in my experience), now settled down.
By the way, using Stock firmware (Sense v7.2xxx).
Good job so far!
Rom quietly updated in op.

I'm sorry, what is "unique and refreshing" about this ROM? Screens do look nice, but...

I'm already downloading))
RisingOS v1.1 runs great. Thanks for the update
just started running this rom today but so far everything buttery smooth no random app not respondings no hang ups, just buttery smooth with some of the most customization ive ever seen in a rom hands down. even brought back quick settings bg images! man i missed those. and the little things it does like theming for the settings app and the image header in setting options.. or the quick settings icon animations.. now THIS deserves the name CUSTOM rom, unlike most builds nowadays are just GSI's with a couple copypasta options in it.. MAJOR props to the dev for this rom i think ill stay a while.. One opinion on the post here on xda; you need a features list.. i mean it would really suck to type the extensive list out, but if people could see the amount of hard work put in, this rom would blow up so quick.
regardless, it's gonna blow up.. So excited to check this ROM out further! Thanks again.
wrong thread.sorry
Thank you Nivla, Rom is running great.

Still on testing currently

Been running the whole day and it's super stable. Customizations are just enough to satisfy what I need.
