PAC-rom 5.1.1 mi4c | Team Superluminal
PAC-ROM (PA+AOKP+CM) based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
The rom is pretty new, first build was released on 30/12/15, latest on 2/1/16, two days ago.
The only bug listed on the website is "selinux in permissive mode". (what does that mean??)

thanks, im downloading!

I'm using it since first build. It's probably the best rom which i was using till now
I didn't found any big buggs. It's quite smooth and stable and PAC stuffs are pretty cool.

That means the security is lowered, to allow certain functionality to run. e.g. dolby sound enhancer

How is the performance and battery drain compared to MIUI?

For me it's similar, but this is subjective ofc. I'm using phone for calling&texting, e-mail's, web; no games. Wi-Fi/LTE and bluetooth always on (smatband sync) + sometimes GPS navigation. That makes approx 2 days per charge - i had the same usage on MIUI. I didn't noticed UI/apps lags.

Their last release it's pretty awesome regarding battery...

I don't know if many people tried this pac but it is really worth the try. Until cm13 gets more debuged, this is the best non miui ROM out there

Seems to be on par with CM 12.1 in terms of stability. Worth to try.

Yes, stable and smooth. More features compared to CM12.1

Looks like a very interesting ROM, will be my first choice after I give miui a shot when I get my mi4c.

pac-libra-LP-MR1-Unofficial-20160204-pac-5.1
Removed unneeded services
Use miui stable V7.1.6.0.LXKCNCK proprietary blobs
Sync 20160203 PAC-5.1-LP-MR1 pac-5.1 branch

IMO it's the best rom of all the ones available.
I love my mi4c even more with it.
Would prefer to see this one in marshmallow rather than CM...
Anyway thank you so much team superluminal for this.
And there will be good news soon...

I have to agree with you. I've been using Pac-Man Rom since the 1st release and it's pretty awesome tbh. And the most stable one I used, even better than miui. I don't really need the CM13 version, but I would rather LOVE to see kernel sources released so we can have a better development for this piece of work.

Attached you will find the SnapdragonCamera as a flashable archive. The source is from an russian host I've found via Google.
Boot into TWRP, flash the zip-file, clear the cache and reboot.
The app version is 2.0.002.
I've tested it after a clean installation of the latest PAC-rom "pac_libra_LP-MR1.Unofficial_20160204-083837.zip". It will probably also work with earlier releases and CM12.1.
Attention
1. It will replace the default standard Camera app of CyanogenMod.
2. I don't have much knowledge in this things. So try and use it on your own risk.

You can get it from here. http://www.teamsuperluminal.org/forums/topic/camera/

Is it work with Xiaomi 4c- 2g-16GB??
-Thanks

@chasemyass
The source is the following russian filehoster. Who uploaded it or in which forum it was posted isn't known. I found it yesterday as I was looking for needed arm64 libraries to get the camera working.
http://rghost.ru/7ZP9TX89x
@ermacwins
The linked version is for CM13. My version is tested for CM12.1.
@ngolebaoyen
Yeah, probably it will work. I think the only difference between 16GB and 32GB version is the memory. All other specs should be the same.
I've checked the archive and it contains the camera apk-file and two needed arm64-libraries.
The script itself deletes the default camera app, copies the new apk-file plus the libraries and links the libraries to get loaded. Just download the zip-file and open it with WinRar/7-zip/WinZip or any other compression tool.

Sorry for the n00b question but if everything is like Sultan's CM11, what's the advantage of using this?

It's not CM11, it shares the bugs and kernel config as i forked sultan's sources and adjusted them a little bit for omnirom
A few reasons this is (to my opinion) better than CM11:
- More buttons, everyone should like that :3
- Non-commericial
- and some more, just try it!

Hope this is an early build, had lot of bugs *Bluetooth pairing up but unable to receive files
*Apps not downloading from Google play
*Quick settings tiles are not responsive
*Screen of animations not working
*Downloaded file manager from browser as the build doesn't have one(Google play can't download it)but when I tried to open it from downloads it says unable to open,so this is the major bug currently I'm unable to browse my files in this build, the only way is to add a file manager in the ROM zip.
*But the rom is quite smooth good work.

Camera : Preview works, Taking photo works, Video not working yet.
Rest remains the same.
Bit by bit getting there. I will try to upload source when i feel its good stable.
I wont bother uploading a build until I get Mobile network working as its going to be useless for normal users.

Yeah, that was my concern. I guess our phone was never meant to have anything remotely close to what we have now. I believe it's the ART taking up so much system space. Still amazed that it actually boots and runs smoothly.

Give it a shot. Go into dev settings and watch out for the morph feature. You can choose if you want to use exodus features, cm features or stock aosp features. 3 roms in one.
The rom is snappy as it is barebones. But I have this problem, Can't connect to camera. Some times it works fine (Camera).
By the way, used Google Camera.

I just found this camera fix on play store. Don't know, if it really works, I haven't installed it myself yet. Maybe you want to give it a try.
EDIT: was a bit curious, so I tried it out. For me it does not work, the app doesn't even open. So I guess this won't help.

I really don't know. It was just that at some point, it was fixed in CM and some other CM based ROMs have picked it as well. But I don't know the commit(s) for that. I don't even remember when it was but it is some time ago, I think before even 5.1 was out. That camera/flashlight bug was since Android 5.0.x.

When is the next update coming?
There won't be frequent updates from my side because of my school work.
You can expect updates once in a month or so

Thanks for back!
Nice to see MM ROM! Bugs same as CM?
Its been a pleassure Sri, at least are coming no CM roms, sorry but you know that i dont like XD
@srisurya95 Dual sim is working? Whatever the answer, put it in OP, plz
Tested on xt1032, first boot all good, fc's with anyother gapps package, can't use facebook even if installing to /system/app, it just fc;
Performance decreaced so much after second boot even without installing anything. Some settings fc's, Wi-fi conecting automatically sometimes, and sometimes no, and the bootanimation is so bigger than it should. I'll add more bugs if I get.
Many features, is good to see more marshmallow support for our falcon!
The bug with facebook is app problem, no rom. Use vrtoxin gapps, are the recomended and the rom need its time to work ok, no lag, simply is that has a lot of features so if you run configurating it will do weird things

The facebook apk that i used worked for me on every 6.0 rom, except those that built Sri Harsha; however, i found an apk with modified libraries that is suposed to work on cm13, and (i think) also here. I got many lag at the start, now it's good I'll setup everything using the vrgapps and that facebook app. I didn't used any feature yet so, it isn't the reason why it's doing weird things.
Not for use, like you say now the rom goes better than at the start. Facebook app is not good but is your choice use it, at nexus devices gives problems too
Thanks @srisurya95 ,good job.

Sorry not anywhere near WiFi to download and test myself... But wondering if anyone has tested on CDMA?
Edit: Got a chance to flash and unfortunately CDMA is a no go. On the bright side used provided Gapps and experienced no lag, FC's, or anything else of that nature. Rom looks great. Hopefully a fix for CDMA is in the not so distant future..
Tried it & went back to SOKP. This might be good for someone who REALLY needs Marshmallow.
Pics from @mrbojangle69. This build is working fine. First charge without addons of course. We are testing

FC when i try to access uninstall layer.
Edit:Fixed by moving layers apk in system app.
But layers seem to not be fully supported .Layers don't fully apply.
First, need to use layer manager latest. It is at bitsyco pushbullet channel, second need to use layers for M and the latest updated

Can you share your sources on github? Thanks ?
Juts a heads up guys; This is a patch rom meaning that the kernel and stuff is still taken from the stock MIUI Roms, so it isn't trully AOSP. Think of it as MIUI with AOSP skin.
Benefits of this rom
1. You can use REAL GAPPS and use AOSP features like smart lock
Appart from that, it is features are simillar to MIUI minus MIUI apps and theming
But it is still a good rom. Good job!

It worked absolutely fine.. and over all size is just less then half of Original MIUI.
If it is based on MIUI as you explained how normal xposed framework and GravityBox is working in this ROM? just for my understanding but not being rude to you my friend
Using this ROM for a day. Here is some info's:
Stable and good for daily usage...did't find any major bugs.
Battery is good enough: 6:30h SOT
Fingerprint is fast as MIUI, no differences.
WiFi and Data is working great.
Calls volume & sounds are fine, i see no differences from MIUI.
Bluetooth, works in 70% of cases. This is the only bug i found.
It's a great ROM. Thanks you @cofface for your great work!
Rom works fine and is good as daily driver.
@cofface when you post aosp you must post a link to the source code

Not true. AOSP is Apache license, does not need public source code.
Only kernel requires source code.
This is 100% allowed.
Also, its not compiled from source. Cofface doesn't have source. It's decompiled > patched > recompiled, like the opposite of PatchROM. The source does not exist.

Which is what is done when you're making a MIUI based rom when youre basing it off of AOSP (like MIUI for nexus 5)
So this is indeed a patch rom.
Can we expect an update soon, @cofface? Maybe to Nougat 7.1.1? Or 7.0? Also maybe some bug fixes in the next version of this rom?
killer apps
good job on the rom.... sounds grreat.... quick question... is there still a problem where apps in background get killed quickly???? i dont want to switch to this rom if it aint fixed..... thank for any quick responses.....
