My stock-but-formerly-rooted T-Mobile LG G2 semi-bricks when I apply the Lollipop OTA update from T-Mobile.
I've reinstalled to stock a few times and tried again, and every time the Lollipop update kills it.
Anybody have any idea what's up?
Is there a flashable Lollipop stock rom? The only guide I've seen requires .tot files, and I haven't seen a stock lollipop tot file.

I have rooted my Tmobile LG g2 and it has kitkat 4.4.2. I want to sell it to a friend and when trying to get it back to stock I only have the 80120E.kdz, so when using the flash it says I have the latest version and will not unroot the phone. I followed the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2672076 from here, but the d80110c doesn't download, it just takes me to an html with all the scrabbled code (or rather code I have no clue of what it means). Downloaded the zip file, but it gave me a .tot file which I don't even know what it is, but it's certainly not a kdz.
Can anyone tell me how to get the jellybean version, so I can get it all the way back to when I bought it (Jan 2014) and the let it do the OTA from stock?
Hello,
New Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update for D838-HKG sets is available. But everything time i try to update it gives an error, says, suspect of rooting and Update service is not available for rooted device.
I have unroot my device even after it is giving similer error. Please help to update device.
because you already rooted it once. unrooting with su app. will not going to change that. if you want flash d838 lollipop update via lg offline flash tool 2014. look for a kdz and flash it that will update your phone to lollipop.
bartdotnet is right. I had the same problem too, and installed the update thru the LG offline flash tool
the most recent KDZ version is v20a (for my phone D838 HKG), and you can download it from http://lg-phone-firmware.com/ (it's about 1.2gb in size)
search for a tutorial on using the flash tool, and you're done!
android version in v20a is 5.0.1, and the battery life is worse than before, so think twice before taking the plunge
So while on stock android L 5.0.2 i was unable to install a custom rom either it being bootlooped or getting an error while installing, so i found a video that hepled me downgrade back to stock android 4.4.2 kk after downgrading I've noticed that it wasn't the u.s version of stock it was im assuming the international version. Which i guess doesn't allow you to upgrade to lollipop the build number is KOT49L.D80020Y. So then i assumed i was stuck on kk so i found a couple roms and downloaded them they all installed without a hitch but none of the ones on lollipop have working data connection which is kinda big for me. I have a backup from stock android L saved on my computer(cause i thought you could install that on the device like a rom) but it doesn't show up in twrp. Are there any stable lollipop roms for the lg g2? If not is there anyway to restore the backup i have on my computer to the phone advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have an at&t lg g4 on android 5.1 lollipop. the software version is H81010i and build number is LMY47D. I am trying to update it to marshmallow but it says 'software is up to date' i tried updating it manually but that requires version H81010o. I have searched on the forum and version H81010o is an upgrade over H81010i. My phone is not rooted. Is there any way i can flash stock firmware using kdz method as mentioned in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/g...k-kdz-t3107848
I dont want to brick my phone so plz suggest a working solution for me. Thanks.
