Hi guys,
It's my first post here in xda forum as a xda user. First of all i would like to thank all guys that helped to root and install custom rom to my huawei u8120, with all these useful tutorials. Now as a xda member i would like to ask for some more help. Thanks to this forum i tried to root my tianhe h8 smartphone via framaroot. But after some months of use the screen of the phone has some vertical lines and other times have blurr or oval schemes. But the problem is that my screen doesn't have any problem because when i use an app just like internet app (thing that i am doing right now) or facebook etc. those lines and schemes disappear, but my resolution is low. Despite the fact that the screen is hd ,after this problem i can clearly see pixels. So i just ran some mtk info apps and they appear my screen size to be 4.5 inch and actual is 6!!!!
Please can you help me to find out the problem? I truly consider a hardware gpu or battery problem.

And you thought that reviving an 9 year old thread about an entirely different device was the place to ask? Nope.
All the rooting info you need is available in the Desire HD section. Closed.
Gotta hand it to him, he dug deep for this thread....

Hey guys,
Am new to the XDA. I've installed CM9 ROM. And it's running successfully on my Nexus S. But am facing some bugs like, if I set the CPU to 1.4GHz the phone is getting rebooted automatically. And if i get a notification, am getting the sound and the touch sensitive buttons glows up but not the screen. Also when i get a call only after 3-4 secs the screen glows up.
Please help me out to solve this issue. Am not able to post in the development section as am new to the XDA.
Thanks in advance
Search the development and Q&A forums instead of trying to post in the development forum. That's exactly why the 10 post restriction is in place - to get people into the habit of searching for answers (which are usually there).
Then, if you can't find any help with the search then ask in the Q&A forum for your device.
if its rebooting usualy that's a sign that its overclocked to high, try lowering it down and sees if it works better

Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you for the great help your forum provides me in understanding how android system works, how it can be tweaked etc.. I am a former user of an iphone 4 which I have sold for a new Galaxy S4 I9506.
After looking for an answer and unable to find any, I post here today to ask you a question because I have a problem while displaying xda forum on my phone (see attached pictures). Do you have any idea of where the problem comes from, and how to solve it?
Thank you very much.
PS: Sorry if I post in the wrong forum but I'm a new user and not completely aware of all the rules.
You need to download the xda app!! Easier!

I switched to Tapatalk for toys exact reason. However, if you don't want to use an app, just rotate your phone to landscape mode and the text becomes readable.

Hi. I have just installed the latest update this week and feel very disappointed. I have lost my lovely watery fluid screensaver and have searched through settings to find it. There doesn't appear to be any settings at all for any choice of wallpapers except for the bright gaudy colours that are compulsory with the update. I had to download a new keyboard that I liked too.
Can anyone help me reinstate the previous wallpaper or point me in the right direction. Please be kind as I have no idea what most of you are talking about. Some simple instructions would be most appreciated.
Thank you

Hello xda forum. I recently joined this comunity. Heard of it on a youtube video by C4AEtech in the same day that I have rooted my phone - Samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N9005.
Please dont be hars on me, I dont know where to post, so if I'm in the wrong category please move my topic, i'll learn from mistakes.
Since I'm new to rooting and dont wanna do anything by my own cuz there are risks and dont want to intentionally burry my phone, I would like some guidance.
Basicly I have some questions
-I play this game called Taichi Panda and I lagg really hard sometimes, and yeah, my phone has 3gb ram and a strong cpu. With my old phone I had an octa core with 1gb ram and it was same. The issue here is that my old phone was running at 720p and note3 at 1080p . Is there something that I can do to switch my graphics from 1080p to 720p ? (only to this game) I want to record and make some youtube videos and I'd like to be lagg free for extra video quality. The difference between 720p and 1080p is not that big of a deal, and if it helps my game to run lagg free it will be great. P.S. I play only on wifi and I have 50mbs up and down.
-I saw here something about custom roms and kernels. I dont know what are those, but I want to improve my phone in a good way and get the most of it. I would like it to run well, not to lagg somethimes, not to freeze and stuff. I'd like to OC my CPU to a safe limit (what I saw is about 2.7 ghz). I would also like something custom that will improve my phone to perform better.
Offtopic: Recently my phone had some problems (before root). When I plug it it for charging , sometimes it doesnt charge at all and sometimes it charges for 1 sec than for next 2 sec it doesnt and so on. I dont know if its my battery fault of my charger, mabye I have killed it with that game Could you recommand me a program where I can see my battery life remaining ?
Any tip and tricks are welcome, I'm opened to any suggestions. I just want my phone to run better and this comunity just rocks -been searching for stuff in past days but cant do anything on my own.
Best wishes

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your questions with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

Hello again.
Since you seem to have several separate somewhat unrelated concerns, it would best for you to start separate threads in that forum if you still have questions after reviewing the information already available there.
Once again, good luck.
